I live a 1 minute maximum drive from this branch of Simmonds, yet the food was lukewarm. Also I ordered brown sauce in my bap but got red instead. Greggs will be a serious consideration for the next order.

Lovely worker called Laura M was so friendly when I went in for my birthday breakfast bap! It was really yummy and she wished me a happy birthday!

I ordered a breakfast bab with 5 items. 2 x sausage, 2 x bacon and 1 egg. Except I didn’t get the egg!

Great communication/customer service

We went to the shop as it had been pushed back time wise and we were worried the food would be cold. When we got there a member of staff said it was made when the order first went through. The manager then contradicted this and said they get a ping when the courier was close however the food was cold and the bread was soggy. When asked for a fresh order the manager refused and said we would need pay again. Very rude and not understanding at all.

You can easily make a better sandwich at home with very little effort compared to the junk they make here. They sell them at rip off prices

Order a 4 item breakfast baguette and a 5 item breakfast baguette got 2 4 item breakfast baguettes 1 was missing the mushrooms. Also asked for food not to be over cooked but yet and behold bacon and hash browns were extremely over cooked and practically inedible, a normal person who has an egg in bread would normally make sure the egg yolk was hard not the muppet that cook these eggs by the time I got the food the bread was soggy and the yolk was in the box and all over the paper bag. As this store has gone way down hill on food quality and the mistakes they make I will no longer order from this branch again.

Wrong food! Instead of what we ordered we got the bare minimum. No refund forthcoming.

Send the wrong order, attached the wrong receipt to the bag. My order was a lot more expensive, so somebody else was sent my much larger order.

More than an hour after the estimate. App stops updating so no idea when coming.

Missing items, burnt egg no bacon mostly cold, totally inedible. No way to contact restaurant conveniently for the cost I would expect better.

Did not receive one thing I ordered! Replaced all my items with the strangest things and a card that informs of this and says “we’re sure you’ll be pleased with the changes” cheesetwists instead of the coffee I ordered? Make it make sense.

Delicious and fast. Everything ordered arrived.

Very simple order but they only sent 1 coffee instead of 2. We rang the shop who said they did make 2. Who knows what happened to the 2nd coffee.

Lovely little bakery, cakes were lovely, nice fresh rolls and loaves and the filled rolls and croissants were delicious 😁

Food was stone cold, not sure if this was down to the driver or restaurant. App said driver got to the restaurant at 9:20am but the app said driver left restaurant at 9:45am but the driver took 15 to make the delivery.

One food item had the store price on it, which is 75p higher on JustEat. I’m not sure why we are charged higher prices when ordering for delivery - it’s the same food and we pay a delivery fee!

Missing items and when you phone to ask why they do not want to know but taken money for them. This had happened twice now.

Absolutely delicious and a replacement ciabatta roll instead of a bap was amazing! Should be replaced permanently as so much better! A little treat too to compensate for the replacement bread so what a lovely gesture! Thank you

I ordered a breakfast bap a cake and coffee after opening the bag there was only a cake and coffee and I'm starving

We ordered 2 breakfast naps that were supposed to have 4 items. One was missing a hash brown and one was missing mushrooms. Shame as it would have been lovely if it was correct and delivery was really quick.

Order two sausage 1egg and 2 bacon. Got sausage egg and mushrooms! Ordered Malteser slice got carrot cake Ordered Bakewell tart slice got Diet Coke The only thing in my order that was correct was a sausage roll! Not so much as a phone call to talk about what the customer would want as a replacements. Crazy!

Long delivery time, food was cold

I love this bakers. Always amazing freshly cut sandwiches with really generous portions of the fillings. The filled potato skins are simply delicious as are the jacket potatoes... When they don't run out...

Only thing let it down was not being able to order hot cross buns even though they were on the screen

Recieved the wrong order and the only solution they had was to request a refund and reorder which I then I have to pay the delivery charge twice for their mistake.

No crusty rolls, no pasties, no cheese straws..... worlds worst bakers

The food from Simmons is always great quality but unfortunately the service in this branch is consistently poor. I have left the shop before now as I was ignored whilst the woman behind the counter caught up with her friends. Today I went to collect several french sticks ordered by wife yesterday to be told they hadn't reserved them. No explanation, no apology, just haven't got them. Will avoid in future.

Ordered bread on Weds morning early to come in on Friday - not there - London Colney is absolutely useless. THE STAFF ARE CLUELESS!!!!!!

Good coffee, good food. Lots of things sold out mid Saturday afternoon so make sure to get their earlier - but still worth to go as plenty other choice.

Been coming here for years. Never again. So inconsistent so many staff changes. The staff where so much better a few years ago. Sometimes people want you to Order everything you want all at once sometimes 1 thing at a time. Young lad in there today maybe new so I do one thing at a time or your constantly repeating yourself. Then did what’s next and he says are you having any more rolls as we have other customers ( well what am I then?) The ladies in this place are normally fantastic but the manger just said whats going on and did nothing to resolve anything so just carried on with order and i decided no way am i asking for anything else, couldn't wait to leave and will never be back. Please head office of Simmons get rid of these young lads that are rude and don’t have a clue about customer service or what there doing. ladies are by far the best at customers service and retail. Young lads these days let us down big time. Its why i dont employ any guys in my retail Business.

Freshly made produce daily. Good selection of cakes and pastries on offer, serves coffee only as well as meals. Eat in or takeaway. Can get extremely busy at lunchtimes.
