Simla Spice in Newport

We have chicken tikka masala and it's just amazing I've had indian food from a few places in newport but they don't come close to simla spice, the service is good and friendly the food is stunning.

The best in Newport, have ordered from here for years. The food is always fresh and the staff are so friendly. Have tried different places but nothing compares to Simla spice.

Orderd via Uber Eats, delivery was longer than stated but food was piping hot and very tasty. Ordered lamb tikka masala, but they gave us chicken. Ordered onion salad with poppadoms but they delivered mango chutney and mint dip. Would order again though. Food was lovely.

Delivery was super fast even though it was the weekend, I don't usually opt for the meat option when I have takeaway but the chicken was so soft and tender in both curries I tried definitely my new go to

Dont deserve 1 star but had no choice. Worse food ever! the chef smokes while cooking peoples food ash falling into the curry for extra ingredients absolutely disgusting definitely do not recommend!!!!

Very nice and clean place place. Staff very knowledgeable and polite. Good size portion of curry. Give it a go, you won't regret.

Food was delivered over a hour late, chicken wings were not delivered, food was cold, salad with quarter was limp and soggy, driver was rude when I asked why the food was late. After putting the food in the microwave it still tasted really nice but by then I wasn't really in the mood as I had to get up early for work

Usually they get something wrong but this time they served our curry rice and chips all chucked together in a polystyrene tray .And not sure if they have new chef but no taste what so ever

Iv been eating from here for years and after today's food I received and the attitude of the staff that I spoke to I will never again. Food was freezing chicken tikka not cooked and curry is like water never again! Vile

Masala bites down the road much better! no taste and the rice was like rice pudding
