Simit Sarayi in Kensington and Chelsea

Visited for a quick business lunch with some colleagues. Fast Service but there was not much space between tables for us to have our informal meeting. Quality of the food, cleanliness could be better and pricing is OK for central London

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had ordered a sandwich which had cling film in the filling, I nearly choked. On another visit, I was with my family and my 8month old son. A fellow customer came in and shoved my buggy out of the way. I asked her not to do that, she became very aggressive and was shouting at me and being very threatening towards me and my elderly mother and aunt whilst I was holding my baby. Instead of the staff asking her to leave, they comforted the woman as she was from the same country as the staff and proceeded to seat and serve her. I think this is absolutely appalling for any establishment and I will be taking this further as I’m so shocked with how they encouraged this aggressive behaviour infront of other customers too.

Kingston upon Thames branch: Had a Turkish breakfast in there. Bread was dry , asked for butter, yes you can have but you need to pay 25p extra per tiny portion. Olives were dry and tasted cheap. Lettuce was served with the food, YOU DON'T PUT LETTUCE WITH TURKISH BREAKFAST... !!!! . Would not recommend..!!!

Smit Kingston upon Thames recently open , unfortunately it’s one girl with hijab , very young was absolutely rude, she was shouting on me as I wasn’t happy with her attitude and was talking to the manager, rudely she said her name to me and asked me if I need her address, absolutely ridiculous behaviour, very unprofessional and the manager didn’t say anything to her when she was shouting. Never go there, you’re wasting your time and money with horrible customer service.

The Simit we ordered arrived spongy and soft after being heated in a microwave. It was boiling hot from the microwave and wasn’t crispy at all.

Just popped in while my partner was on busy with my baby asleep in the pushchair for a hot chocolate and cookie. The hot chocolate was watery and flavourless and the cook rock hard like it had been sitting there for days weeks even. Very disappointed

Had a nice table seat and that’s the only good thing I can say. The cake was very stale, it had obviously been sitting out for too long. It was dry and tasteless. Far too expensive for the quality. Typical tourist trap.

Worse place to go Very rude manager. Bad behaviour They asked us to leave in the middle of our food because it was crowded and when I asked for manager he told us to leave now.

My sandwich was adequate, the cake to follow was poor. We felt we had made a poor choice and we would rather have chosen one of the other cafes along the King's Road which on reflection looked much more inviting.

you must try their tahini rolls, potato rolls their rolls are much better then their sandwiches their coffee is very good and their tea is turkish tea which tastes diffrent from regular tea

The staff were miserable and unfriendly. They couldn't seem to crack a single smile between them. Probably would not come back as didn't feel particularly welcome. Food, however, was fantastic!

Nice place to read the papers if you are looking to have some peace and space. Try their Turkish tea and cookies with apple and fig. All made every day fresh.

Been here twice and the same experience both times: the bowls are really delicious (Earth bowl, veggie bowl, high energy bowl, wellness bowl - all great). But the service is pleasant but terrible: young waiting staff apparently untrained (I had to ask for a glass for my sparkling water), loads of stuff on the menu not available (no falafel both times), food took some time to arrive, once they got the bill wrong... They're not hostile, just seem to have little idea. This branch is very convenient to the Brompton hospital but I want to try another branch to see if they can get the whole experience right.

Faultless service , decent coffees and pastries and my Bruv had a Turkish cooked Breakfast.... great place.... would come again.
