Simit Sarayi in City of London, Westminster

A pesar de ser parte de una cadena de restaurantes turcos, la elección es más como un café inglés con pasteles, rosquillas y sándwiches. Estos son solo algunos asientos a lo largo de las paredes, pero no hay asientos en la mesa. La comida es lo suficientemente buena, pero este no es un lugar para celebrar un clelbration.

Sinceramente, la comida está bien, el servicio está bien. Me ofrecieron un té gratis de la tradición tradicional turca. Tuve el pollo empanado. Estuvo bien, pero seriamente, los consejos gratis bajan los precios, de lo contrario no puedo ver esta marca por otros 3 años.

londrada yaşayan arkadaşlar ile buluştuk. londra'da simit sarayı görünce çok sevindik. 2 sabah kahvaltı yaptık. toplam 5 kişi oxford setrett 68 de kahvaltı'dan sonra tabiki bir türk işletmesi diye sorumlu hüseyin isminde bir çalışana türkiye'den geldiğimi mümkünse lavaboyu kullanabilirmiyim diye sordum. bana sadece personal için dedi.Mc Danolts var ileride onu kulanabilirsiniz dedi, ve suratıma bile bakmadı. çok üzüldüm çok yazık. ben bir türk restorantı diye 2 gün gittim. demek değil miş.çok üzüldüm çok

Acabamos de bajar del tren en Charing Cross después de un almuerzo ligero. Así que nos dirigimos por la calle Villiers ya que hay mucho para elegir allí. Decidimos sentarnos en este restaurante a) porque nunca habíamos oído hablar de eso y la comida se veía bien. Pedimos una envoltura picante de salchicha y una cosa redonda con queso! Junto con dos cafés, ¡era justo lo que el doctor ordenó! Sin embargo, cerré la puerta principal mientras esperábamos nuestros cafés mientras estábamos sentados en la corriente fría y el hombre detrás del mostrador me dijo que no debería haber cerrado la puerta. La siguiente persona que entró lo dejó abierto, ¡así que fue feliz otra vez! ¡Realmente podría haber terminado con ser enviado a un curso de servicio al cliente! Es invierno, fue un poco arriesgado, si quieres que la gente se siente y coma, hazlo cálido y cómodo. La comida era muy sabrosa y el café era bueno, incluso si se trataba de un café de "pulsador", ¡el tipo que haces por ti mismo en un lugar de autoservicio!

Increíble variedad de comida para el desayuno y el almuerzo "no es lo usual" y algo "usual". ¡Muy sabroso y emocionante para cualquiera que desee luchar contra la cadena grande de forraje repetitivamente sin fin! Rollo de carne crujiente era fantástico y un servicio amable. Mi nueva parada de comida rápida favorita.

Never had such poor customer service. The guy that served us had no interest at all. We were really amazed at how indifferent his attitude was. Having said that, the coffee was actually very nice. I was also amused at a pigeon casually walking in, right up to the till area.

We enjoyed a tea and a coffee and added a selection of little pastries for £1.99, which we thought good value. It was late afternoon so not many people were about and we were served without delay. I agree with a previous reviewer: the exterior of the café does not draw one in but the interior was comfortable and it was a nice change from the usual cafes near Embankment tube station.

See photo, issue raised, lame excuse "there is a problem with the machine". Very very poor that they were prepared to pass off sub standard product as most of their trade is "single use one off passing and or too polite to complain". Terrible place avoid......ohh, and the poo covered chairs topped off our extremely negative experience.......

I had a latte and a sandwich. Everything is fresh and healthy. The ingredients tasted so good. Great for a quick bite before you resume your tour in the busy London.

Chose a cheese borek-the worst I have ever tasted and the pastry reminded me of lard! The hot 'chocolate' (cheap type) was lukewarm and artificial tasting and I suspect it was not even made using milk.

Found this small café by chance looking for somewhere for coffee and a bun! The outside appearance does the business no favours as it is not very noticeable but once you step inside and view the food on offer you will realise that this is a small gem. The aroma of the food cooking was awesome and the coffee and food we had was excellent whilst being a bit expensive for what we had.

I am Turkish and love some of the products the simit sarayi sells, one of which is the tahini pastry. They make it nice, because they put quite a bit of tahini into it, although they cook it like borek, crispy outside, which is not the way it should be, but it is ok. the problem at this particular branch is that they sold to me stale ones. and also some more stale simits. They shouldn't keep them on display if they are not fresh enough.

The BBQ chicken sandwich and the feta and tomato were both fresh and very well made. The pepperoni and cheese bread had mostly bread. Depending on what you have, it can be a very good meal

Manager ignoring waiting customers as untrained staff member gets orders wrong. When the sandwich eventually came, it was just awful. Soggy lettuce, mostly warm bread, shredded chicken escalope or something. I was too despondent to approach the manager who wasn't taking responsibility for the chaos inside.

I recently spent time in London on a business trip. Choosing to eat outside of my hotel on a weekend, I walked by the Simit Sarayi and was tempted by the baked goods in the glass cases. I attempted to order a latte with soy milk. The counterperson responded in a semi-unintelligible way that he did not have soy. I then asked if the café had a reduced fat milk. I could not understand his response again, as he pointed at the cappuccino machine. I finally gave up on having any coffee, and selected fresh orange juice instead. I also chose one of the chocolate muffins that were prominently displayed. To my surprise, it was one of the worst muffins I've ever had from a bakery. The muffin was dry and not moist. Additionally, it tasted stale as though it had been sitting there since at least the prior day. I ate some of it and tossed the rest. I then proceeded to one of the competitors who have soy milk as a standard offering. I would not dine at this location again.

I wouldn't rush back here but the food was good, service less so. Convenient for nearby places. Good drinks selection.
