Simit Sarayi in Haringey

This is a wonderful spot in the busy section of Green Lanes Haringey with outdoor sitting, The service and the brunch were excellent value for money. Well worth a visit.

Offering a wide variery of wholesome, healthy sandwiches, salads and geat turkish coffee. Very friendly and experienced staff which was great. Highly recommended.

Bought simit the other day and the taste is horrible doesnt taste like smit so hard like elastic and cant even chew it and the taste is so so horrible. Also they are over priced £2.00 and doslar market cross the road £1.00 and tase lot lot better. I wasnt going to write the review but i thought just write and let others know about it.

Possibly the most expensive pies in Haringey. I paid £5 for a medium size pie to take away; next door you can pay £3.50 fora hand-made delicacy. I wonder how this shop survives here. No wonder prices are not marked on products, nobody would even enter. Rude staff as well. Go anywhere else around her for better value and quality experience.

I visited on a busy Thursday, nice friendly service but when I asked for a menu and prices but was told they don't have a menu. Then kindly asked me to be seated and pay after I have finished, I now know why, they were overpriced. I paid 7.45 for a coffee and small pastry!

Well, well, well !!! How can I describe my feeling finding not 1 human nail but 2 human nails in our drinks. We brought 5 fresh lemonades and whilst drinking 2 of my children found human nails!!! In their drinks!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! NO HYGIENE WHAT SO EVER AND HOW CAN THERE BE 2 as 1 is too many!!! If that’s the hygiene the council should close you down! Appalled and Disgusted!!

Save your money going to a different place in this area! I went for a coffee with my mum in Sunday after a beautiful shopping day and this particular gentleman not only he didn't say hello while we came in, but even when he served us the coffees didn't say a SINGLE word and looked us all weird and angry while we were doing nothing wrong! Let alone he sat to a table next to us laughing with some ladies and moved the chair in our table. He made us feel really uncomfortable and we left within 10 minutes, he completely destroyed our mood!. Is a shame that this person is even employed. I will never go back, and you better visit a different place if you want to feel the real Turkish hospitality, and enjoy a coffee.

simit is in every where else 50 pence here is 2.20 any think else also to expensive so high priceses

We visit Simit sarayi in green lanes as we were passing by and we attracted from the lady was doing sampling. We had Turkish breakfast and then sweets with coffee. Very nice experience with cosy environment, feels like home. The Greek manager was really helpful and charming, on top of customers make sure all are happy. Nice prices, nice breakfast, highly recommended, hopefully will visit soon

The manager asked me to leave the shop as they were busy. I had finished my coffee and pastry and was doing some work. I found this completely humiliating and will definitely never come back. This has never happened to me before and i am regular visitor to coffee shops all over London. Also the prices for their coffees are not clearly visible. This is one of the biggest chains of coffee shops and it is clear PROFIT is more important than good customer service. There are far better options in Haringey if you want to enjoy a cup of coffee in a relaxed environment and do some work. Avoid at all costs

Unfortunately the tiramisu that we got from the store in London had mold on top, and for it to be sold to a consumer or even put on the display next to other items is a health hazard as it would mean the other products in the same cake display fridge is also contaminated. I know it is unfortunate and apologize for this review but this was our experience and hopefully would be reflected on in future. Thank you

Simit Sarayi doesn't have an extensive menu of savoury and sweet treats but what it does produce are excellent. Tasty....raisin muffin top notch (reminded me of home). Good tea and coffee. A warm welcome. This may be a chain or a franchise but it's a fresh pleasant one from Turkey. A gentle place to while away an hour.

Very good value for money. I got a combo of their best savoury dishes for £3.50! Highly recommend :)

This patisserie/restaurant offers smart premises, and very friendly service. Cakes, breads ,pizzas etc baked on the premises. Good hot coffee as well.Handy for Harringay station and Finsbury Prk

That's where you should go for a nice Turkish breakfast! We think our food was amazing! We truly enjoyed it and will go back there again. There is one thing I didn't like, one girl in white shirt and she creating so much chaos and pushed customers to choose their food quickly as they have to start preparing it. That was a bit odd. I was a bit surprised by this. Somehow the way she speaks to people isn't right , she uses a lot " yeah yeah ", I found her not very polite. Also would be great if the place was slightly bigger otherwise cosy and very nice decoration.

This place is offering finger food pastries at astronomical prices. The baked goods aren’t particularly good or bad.

Great Taste, fantastic variety, amazing smells of this authentic Turkish-inspired bakery/pastry breakfast cafe. Cool atmosphere, very comfortable, and suitable for solo and families.

I know this chain is becoming hugely popular with shops dotted around London and Europe so it must be doing something great. Visited for lunch at this particular branch. Had teas, cakes and simits with different fillings. It was just ok from textures to flavours. I’ve tried this chain a few times but just can’t seem to like it. I feel it is overpriced for what it is and there are other chains that do better quality food at better prices.
