Good Chinese, speedy service. Food was good, Singapore Chow Mein was very spicey,nippy. Salt n Chilli Chicken balls n chips was nice too, 5 chicken balls. Would try other dishes.

this was the first time ive ordered from you and im really unhappy with the quality of my food and the time it took to be delivered unfortunately, i mad my order at 8pm and never got it until after 9pm, and the chips where cold and tasted like they where really dry because they had been lying for a bit, my chicken fried rice was cold and the chicken balls where soggy, the curry sauce was cold also, however my brothers chicken curry and fried rice was spot on he was happy with his sorry for the bad feedback but everything im saying is 100% true, £25 is a lot of money and i expected to get my moneys worth unfortunately i didnt

Every time I’m back in Glasgow, I get a chicken curry and a sweet n sour from this place. I’ve been going for years now so I asked if I could have a tour of the kitchen. It was really impressive seeing the father and son working together and so clean too. Well done Silver Inn

Got to be the best Chinese in Glasgow , I live in Patrick and travel to Maryhill as the Chinese take always in Patrick aren’t up to much !! Not saying any names lol The food at the silver inn is always so fresh and tasty , I’ve tried various dishes on the menu and i am never let down ! Would highly recommend anyone to try this place , shop is very clean and modern too Thanks guys for always providing tasty meals 👍

Good food. Good prices. Speedy delivery. Accommodating with order specifics. Please use the delivery service, by phone/just eat app; after dark. This is not in an area that you want to be in, especially at night. Smash and grabs from parked cars, muggings and stabbings. They are daily occurances on this road.

Fairly quick service, and reasonably good food. However, the portion size was far too small for the price. Will not be using again as nearby Chinese restaurants offer much better value.

Tried here after original take away we were going to was closed. Hmmm not too keen on the curry sauce at all, thought it was very dark and lacked something. Neither of us finished our meal, would maybe try something like a chow mein to give it another chance, but defo a no no to the curry sauce.

Took them 1hr 40mins to deliver our food, and then they charged 50p over the fee quoted.. I know its not a great deal more but after all that wait!! It just meant the drivers £1.10 tip became a 60p tip. Delivery driver looked like he'd dropped a fiver & found a 10pence, no please, no thank you or apology for lateness... The food was actually very good - just a pity that we wont be using them again due to lack of customer service!!

My order says delivered yet we r still waiting at the moment it's 40 mins late so unable to rate the food but delivery time stinks

Ordered at 7:15 and was expected at 8oclock but arrived at 7:25. Great service and good big portions. Would definitely buy from here again

Over all was nice, chips where a little soggy but edible, would recommend them coming in a bag rather than a box, chicken was a bit chewy but was nice overall, would eat here again.

A lover of the silver inn but tonight meal was poor . hadn't had one in weeks looking forward to it major disappointed refry chips three times..stodgy noodles n chicken balls that looked refryed three times also :-(

Delivery time was only 30 minutes, my meal came exactly when it said it would. I enjoyed my meal a lot and I will continue to order from Silver Inn in the future :-) .

All the food we received was absolutely lovely&it was delivered quickly and the food was still hot when it arrived. Very impressed with this restaurant and would definetley order again!

Have been here for takeaway on numerous occasions the food on most occasions has been lovely although at other times has appeared rather salty. The shop front cam be quite cold at times whilst waiting for the order to be ready

Everything was fine with the exception of the curried chicken. I did not enjoy the chicken in the curry. The chicken was very mushy and not the texture I would expect from chicken, as a result I was unable to eat it.

Delivery driver, very cheeky, sever attitude problem. Phoned up to complain and the person that answered the phone couldn't care less if the driver was cheeky or not, "not my problem attitude". Wouldn't give them my custom again.

ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and I must say, I am not impressed at all. the chicken came super fast but it tasted and smelled raw. besides everything their delivery was very good but the chicken just needed a little more cooking.

Thought that might get your attention. Seriously, though. Their salt and chilli chicken melts in your mouth. Their chow mein and fried rice dishes are amazing and they are delivered piping hot and quick. If you're in the area, give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

Beef was perfect, although the curry sauce was far too watery & flavourless.. Disappointed in portion sizes of chips & the size of the battered chicken. Also disappointed in lack of sauce with battered chicken which was non existent. Other local takeaways have an edge with better & bigger portions for less & also include sauce with battered chicken. Will give silver inn a second chance in the future & hope they can do a better job second time around.

They sent someone how either doesnot know how to use a phone and ended up calling my boss on the Landline. The reason my Mobile number is there is to USE IT so I can come get my food, and not walking round my work place asking people of me. SO STUPID! !!!!

Normally I would recommend this place to people but was disappointed with my latest order! The food itself tastes decent enough but the portions were extremely small! Could tell right away this would be the case as there was no weight to the bag! The trays all seemed tiny compared to most other take aways? The curry had more chunky onions than meat and wasnt full and the boiled rice is packaged in a way that there's more air than rice, probably half of what you get else where! I finished it in a couple of minutes and normally I'd have left overs to heat up later! Then ate a prawn cocktail too as wasn't much to that either. Still starving which is not a normal occurrence from a two course take away and feel like I have to order more food or cook something. Really disappointed by time I order another meal from elsewhere I'll have spent more than enough to eat out somewhere decent. Take away was supposed be the cheap option! Going to keep the food trays until I get another Chinese and see if I'm imagining the fact the containers are the smallest I've ever seen or not, it's like the small trays you get when you're given free mini spring rolls or something from most Chinese take aways for spending a certain amount they use for actual dishes and accompaniments. A child could quite easily tackle the whole thing no bother and come back for desert. Will be ordering elsewhere in future. I'm sure they used to do large portions in big deep trays but what I got today was just weird.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered at 10:45, phoned at 11:15, was told the food was ready and they were waiting on driver coming to collect... Phoned back at 11:40 and was told 'know what it is, the driver went but couldn't find a flat number?' Despite the full address being clearly stated as well as my mobile number which they never phoned. She seemed surprised that I wanted to cancel the order. I've not had to drive out at near midnight to get my dinner that was ordered at 10:45. Can't believe they never thought to phone me to let me know/ask for address confirmation (not that it was needed!). Ignorant, rude and terrible service. Won't be ordering or even collecting from here in future.

Order a ham omelette and get chicken instead.

I asked for them to make sure that one of the dishes contained no MSG, they then started to argue that the food would not taste right, I told them I was allergic to it and couldn't have it in my dish afterall I was ordering a steak not exactly something you'd normally assume would be soaked in MSG after a while they agreed to make me the steak and to their point of the food would taste awful I had to agree the steak tasted like it had been coated in washing up liquid and then fried to within an inch of becoming charcoal they then made the most foul smelling and tasting gravy I have ever had the displeasure of trying, it spoiled the entire dish and evening, if you wish to eat chinese food only my partner was pleased enough with her dish though she did comment there was a funny smell about it as well. I'm afraid I could not trust a restaurant / carry out house that could do this to a customer and would recommend you to go to one of the others if your g20 there are plenty of others with no hassle to them. We have ordered from here a number of times and always found the food to be good, this time the delivery was slower than normal so we were really hungry by the time it got here, I started to put out my rice and there was a massive black hair, I really should have phoned up to complain but having to wait another hour for them to fix it was just unbearable , disappointed really

Ordering was very easy. The delivery time on the other hand was dreadful. It took in excess of 2 hours for my food to be delivered and I had to call to chase this! Twice! Would not recommend ordering through this service if you want food quickly!!!

This take away has got to be the best in G20 (0and further afield!) Everything seems fresh and the receptionist goes out her way to confirm the order, especially if you have left a comment for a meal change. This results in the best home dining experience. The receptionist deserves as much glory as the chef... and a pay rise.... Thank you :)
