tried silver dragon again after a period of time cos i could not remember why i had not used them recently, first of all the food arrived late (20 minutes or so) and then we realised why we had not used them, why is the food so salty? could not eat it all , not at all impressed and probably wont be using them again.

Thought we would try silver dragon again after three years and hoping it had got better after not ordering from there. It was disgusting far to salty hardly any meat couldn’t taste any garlic or ginger and the sauce was very thin, the egg fried rice was tasteless The two meals went in the bin,what a waste of money,never again

I’m saddened to say, terrible. bbq ribs were dry, Singapore chow mein meat and noodles over cooked, mushroom chop suey awful, breaded mushroom’s over cooked, vegetarian special awful, veg chow mein the same. Nothing was labelled! No idea what was meat or not! Was told to call ahead in future for them to be labelled… I eat meat my bloke doesn’t. £36.50 later I’ve just had some mushroom chop suey and quite frankly wish I hadn’t. I’m a good reviewer, this is my first bad one.

By far the best takeaway in Hereford. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never been let down. I’ve lived everywhere in the UK and no other Chinese takeaway has beaten this place. If you want a tasty, plentiful amount of gorgeous Chinese takeaway, this is the place. Not only that, the staff are friendly and very good at what they do! Great effort guys!

Ordered a takeaway, it arrived sooner than expected, thats where the good bit ends. Rice looked and tasted like packet rice laden with salt. The chicken curry was a thick brown gloop with slices of unflavoured chicken thrown into it…and once again ridiculously salty and that’s all you could taste, during and an hour after we ate the meal. The dry ribs could have been OK but they were also laden with salt. If you expect the traditional chinese flavours use another Chinese takeaway all you get here is a lazy dark brown curry with bland slices of your chosen meat and SALT. Won’t be using the Salty…sorry…silver dragon again.

Ordered food at 18.15 and no sign of food at 19.30 phoned up and replied was waiting for driver. And no food at 20.20 phoned back up .. absolutely no help from staff on date or year of food ... Will never use this diabolical understaffed food premises who offered me food that was cook over a hour and half ago and still thought it was fit for human consumption

Food was rather good, can’t really complain... However, we ordered through just JustEat and it stated that it would be here for 8.30pm, even though we ordered it at 7pm. At approximately 8.35pm, my girlfriend received a text saying it would be delayed. In the end, she rang the Chinese, they did apologise and say they were busier than normal.. it arrived at 9.15 in the end...

Absolutely appalling food and service this evening. Ordered £40 worth of food and the quality and portions were very poor and extremely salty. One meal had been bulked out with chips (which weren’t even ordered) and were wet, cold and soggy. When I phoned to complain and asked for a new meal to be sent out , they refused based on the fact it’s a Friday night and because we ordered through just eat, even use the same driver. They even went as far as saying that I’m their online menu the meal comes with chips and when we looked it clearly doesn’t. For this reason and how disappointed we are with the money we had spend they won’t be receiving our custom again.

Poor, not like it use to be likeUse to have an order from here on a monthly basic. But not had one for a while, thought we would give it a bash. Ordered Singapore chow main, with other meals mine was very watery no spice to it at all. A good amount of prawns but the amount of chicken was lacking. It tasted very fishy with no kick to it at all. The prawn crackers where not fresh.

This was a takeaway we used a lot. After tonight we wont be using again. Food was horrible. Was delivered cold and was so salty. Other local chinese restaurants/ take away a lot better.

I used to really love this takeaway restaurant for years, but it seemed to have changed lately (2019) and I no longer see the Cantonese family if Ken and Lily etc...They used to have the best food ever, bar none, but it tastes different now, but 4 times in a row that I have ordered a pancake roll, it has been a spring roll everytime. It’s changed sadly.

Tasty, Hot and very nice. Beef Curry was excellent, Chicken balls were okay, I prefer them to be a little crispy. Egg Fried Rice, Char Sui Chow Mein and prawn crackers were very good.

We ordered by phone and collected our meals. They were nice and hot and tasty. We had Chicken Curry and Mushroom Rice, House Style Chicken Chow-Mein, Spicy Chicken Strips with Egg Fried Rice, Beef Strips and Noodles, Prawn Crackers and Prawn Toast. We all thoroughly enjoyed our tea.

Ordered a take out from here and was not disappointed. The food was hot, tasty and full off vegetables, infact I would say it is one of the tastiest Chinese meals I have had in a very long time. The decor is very modern and the lady on the desk was very helpful. I will definitely be coming back, well done to the new owners.

We had a very enjoyable meal. The set meal for 4 could have easily fed 8. Absolutely delicious. I will take some photographs next time.

Must say my food was absolutely gorgeous Saturday night. We first used this restaurant when they recently changed hands during the changeover and I order something was slightly missing they were quick and efficient in sorting it out and hearing what I had to say as a customer thank you for having good customer services in which made me reorder again I ordered again and the food was better I ordered again on Saturday night and the food was absolutely amazing the spare ribs were lush as my partner is a chef of 25 years and doing catering he really enjoyed his food the only downfall at the moment during the changeover is the delivery time it's usually an hour to an hour and a half for where we are situated it's usually around 15 minutes to get a takeaway from anywhere however this doesn't deter me from ordering my food from this takeaway very nice food very good customer services I will be back again thank you for a wonderful meal on Saturday night delivered

We ordered our choices and then went to collect the meals, easy to park outside and a welcoming counter with pleasant friendly staff. We took our food home and started to eat. I had chicken in batter with a sweet and sour sauce which was bland. Other than that there were some great tasty dishes, Chicken Chow Mein, Crispy Beef strips in Chili Spicy Sauce, Chicken in green pepper and black bean sauce, Beef Chow Mein and Beef curry and a Chicken Curry, We had egg fried rice and chips. All of these were very tasty and everyone enjoyed them.

As usual takeawy was closed we used a new one called the silver dragon, placed order when home realised they had missed part of the order, i phoned and phoned without being able to get through. The food was awful, the duck was dry and how ever they cut it , was sharp to eat and the main was just duck fat and peas!! in all my years who put peas in duck and pineapple? next was the speciall fried rice which was not special. once opened there were slices of very dry beef i think and a piece of dried chicken and rice underneath not special at all, the only nice bit were the prawn crackers, in all a treat take out which was not cheap, was a horrible experience

So impressed with the new management and service. Really fresh food cooked exactly to our requirements. Don’t be afraid to ask for food to be cooked in a certain way (e.g. not too salty) as they’ll cook to order. Great taste; nice presentation; fast and polite service; good value.

I always ordered my Chinese from here, but since 're opening I have found it no where near as good as before, the size portions are alot less and also arrived late and cold! I will not be ordering from here anymore.

First time I have used just eat or Silver Dragon and got to say can't fault either they were both great. I chose the ASAP option and estimated time was 20.15 but arrived at 19.55 so really happy with that. The food was lovely, I was a bit dubious as I always use another Chinese but they're shut on Tuesday so gave Silver Dragon a try and It was really nice, food was nice and hot when it arrived. Will definitely be using both again. Thank you

We normally love this place not sure if its been taken over now though, the Food was over done and generally didnt taste as good, the restaurant hung up on me after telling me the delivery guy should be there by now, and the delivery guy was 30mins late, he was friendly and apologetic but still not great really.

1 hr and 30 mins on a Thursday night to deliver the food. They’ve recently changed owners and a lot of the stuff on the menu wasn’t available. Also the chip portion size is SMALL . Ouch

Such a disappointment. Our favourite reliable Chinese restaurant ruined - as soon as we dished up we could tell something had changed. It was like it was from an entirely different restaurant! The bbq sauce was almost solid, lumpy and pure salt to the point where my tongue hurt from eating it. Soggy chips, rice was bog standard, not terrible but definitely not good. Also, delivery was always so quick in the past - often within half an hour of ordering even though we are the other side of town! This time it took almost 2hrs to get here. Gutted - our hunt for a good, reliable Chinese starts again.

I have been using this take away for 20 + years and didnt realise it was changing hands .as soon as food arrived i knew it was different .everything was stone cold ,rice was undercooked ,chicken curry was like water ,foo young burnt on bottom ,chips were white solid and still raw ,prawn crackers were that stale they were like rubber .we had to throw it all in bin ,i did phone to find out what the hell was going on.young lad was appologetic and offered a free replacement if food was returned i explained had put in bid ,he spoke to his father the chef i presumed as he continuously shouted nothing wrong with food .i wouldnt of even given it to an animal .he explained there new owners i told them no excuse for that .will never use this place again ,food being served as bad as that will make someone very ill

Ordered at 6pm, said the delivery would arrive at 7:35. Nothing as of 8:00. Tried ringing the restaurant, line was busy but then it updated on the app saying that it had been delivered (when it hadn't). Rang just eat and the woman was very helpful, she got hold of them and they told her they were offline and not taking orders. But they were happy to accept my money and not bother informing me. Will not order from here again.

SERIOUSLY awful food under cooked and over cooked. Chicken over cooked mushrooms burnt, sauce cold, omelette was more like scrambled eggs. Ordered at 6.10 delivered 7.30 at a 2 mile distance

Unfortunately the poor customer service let the restaurant down this evening. Part of my order was not delivered. I rang the restaurant to be told that the rest of my order would be sent out but because it took an additional 20 minutes for the rest of the order to arrive it was no longer required however I was refused a refund. Terrible customer service considering it was their error to start with.

I wish I’d read the reviews on this place before ordering trough just eat. It took 2 hours for the food to arrive. It was an hour past what just eat had committed to as a delivery time. I called the restaurant twice to chase the order and they just lied to me about it being delivered soon. Refused a refund and just eat were terrible help. I’ll never order from here again

Food was lovely and on time. Just a shame that I had to pay more for delivery without being informed this until at the door. It was a good job I had extra money to pay. If I had payed online and they would have asked for extra £2 for delivery I wouldn’t of been able to pay as I don’t usually have money on me. Will not be using the delivery service again.

I’ve gone mid scale with delivery time as on this occasion it was 30mins late but we’ve ordered before and normally always early. It was a Very busy evening for them which i understand.

Food was lovely as always. Only thing is I asked for it to be delivered at 7.30 and there was a reason for that! The delivery guy turned up at 7 - right in the middle of me trying to get my 2 year old twins up the stairs to bed. Of course when the doorbell went they got all excited and had to go see who it was and then had a meltdown when I wouldn't let them out - annoying! More attention should be paid to when customers want their food delivered.

Very nice food, not too salty, Beef Chop Suey recommended and best prawn crackers I have ever had.Slight negatives - noodles could do with beansprouts and onion included and prefer crispy type battered chicken balls.

the food I had delivered was not from the silver dragon, it was in fact from the manor, we know this as my partner had to go to the manor and get prawn crackers (as they had not given us any) and seen the same delivery driver there who had just delivered our food. our food was laced in msg and salt! after a few mouthfuls from all of the family the whole takeaway was emptied into the bin. £28 wasted! extremely disappointed as when I have previously ordered from the silver dragon the food has in fact been quite nice. beef in black bean sauce tasted like bisto gravy, vile! will not be ordering from here again...

Good food- no prawn crackers came with our order considering we spent over £50 this was disappointing and the prawn toast was very chewy. Other than that, the food was good. Great delivery time for a Friday evening.

Not that great food but not too expensive, but they don’t check your order before sending it out for delivery as I purchased a bottle of pop with my food but it never arrived so I probably won’t order for here again as they just make you pay for stuff without giving it to you

Delivery was pants. Old guy delivering didn't know how to get out of our road so presumably had trouble finding us even though the restaurant is only 10 minutes drive away, still in tupsley. Maybe get a sat nav?

Payed £9.00 for extra large prawn curry and it was smaller than I get back home, the was six king prawns and a tub of onions in curry, left it after eating prawns. The chips where terrible little bits not chips

food arrived, partner had something different to what ordered but was something he likes so he was happy. my sweet and sour crispy shredded beef was awful, very very little flavour, was pretty much like water, as well as the "bbq sauce". first time ordering from here so gutted. at least there's gin and x factor to cheer my self up 😂

It was OK. Order from here a bit and this was the worst I've had for a while

we received our order and have some items missing. called the restaurant and they said they would get it sent ASAP. 20 minutes later the missing items arrived, no apology from the driver or the restaurant. by the time the missing items arrived the other food was cold and couldn’t really enjoy it at all. I’ve never had any problem with this restaurant before and always recommend them but after spending £30+ on food you’d think they would apologise of at least replace the stuff that was obviously going to go cold while waiting for the missing items. it wasn’t even at a busy time, not long after they opened.
