Absolutely love this chip shop , has the best fish around and theirs actually a good amount of fish in the fish cakes !

This is the best chippy in Sheffield serving good quality reasonably priced food in a clean environment. The staff are so friendly and helpful especially Angela, the frier, and Millie who serves. They ensure the food is piping hot and always greet you with a welcome smile. They even know what I order each week and the time I arrive and have my order ready and waiting for me. I can't fault them, the shop or the food. Angela and Millie are a credit to the business. I recommend you to get yourself there for your chippy supper

bought fish chips for my mum in law and unfortunately did not enjoy mini fish and chips meal on last 2 occasions as stated the food tasted as if the oil cooked on tasted rancid so not be buying again and do not recommend this chippy to anyone as shame used to be good .

There’s a new young lad frying some days and chips are gorgeous and crispy. Horrid when man that’s been there ages there, they’re soggy and scrappy. He’s really miserable as well.

Amazing buttered sausage with chips I highly recommend it as it better than queenies I would say amazing staff and atmosphere absolutely calming and laughter. The sausage was cooked to perfection. Chips not overcooked or undercooked just with perfection.

Went for a large bag of chips got home made sandwiches and threw them in a bin ,they vile horrible tasted like old old burnt oil really needs change of hands

We go once a week and we love it. Good portion size and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly. Have been to other chippys and haven't been satisfied.

The atmosphere had people shouting outside and the service charged me for fish I didn't order. Food was good

Called tonight for fishcake and chips, my husband left his! Which is extremely unusual, the chips tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil. And the fishcake, well, the batter, tasted of flour, was too thick and gummy, there was some gummy content, I think was meant to be fish? And only one slice of hard undercooked potato. I was under the assumption a fishcake was two slices of potato with fish between, dipped in batter and fried??? I never complain, but I'm afraid this was that shocking, I had too. Sorry. But we won't be going again.

Ordered a few chip buttys and all the chips were cold, the bread cakes were really squashed and no care taken into wrapping them at all. also got a rissole which was literally BLACK, smelt and tasted like burnt toast was awful!

Unfortunately the chips were terrible, many uncooked and really not eatable. Many wasted ended up in bin.

The only two criticisms I have, one is it doesn't accept card, only cash and two on certain days the food isn't as good

Food is always nice from here however tonight the service let it down. The server was rude, abrupt, has no manners and threw my food together. Puts you off going

Chips a bit undercooked for my liking, very clean and tidy establishment, friendly service.

Been before and it's probably an average chippy (3*) but tonight the chips were practically raw and may as well have still been in the ground. Very disappointed and won't be going again, nothing compared to a Northern Chippy.

I really can’t recommend these Fish & Chips highly enough they are delicious the quality of the fish is superb lovely and white and fresh. The curry sauce is the best I’ve tasted. If you’ve not already tried them - you really are missing out!!! 🍴

This Chips Shop gone down hill. The Fish Cake looked like and tasted like it was 2 days old. The bag of chips smallest portion I've ever seen. Terrible quality

Been here a few times. It's a nice chip shop with decent prices and decent portion sizes. I don't necessarily remember the prices, but they were OK. There is no seating available inside, but that is not needed as it's within a little shopping area next to all the houses.

Bought fish and chips for my grandkids to share. They were really enjoying it until mu granddaughter pulled out a long, thick black hair from which a piece of battered fish was hanging. I'll have to give their unfinished supper to the birds in the morning.

The worst fish I’ve ever had! And I’ve had bad in my time. The fish was the smallest thing I’ve ever seen (bearing in mind i asked for a large one too!) and was basically just thick hard batter covering this small measle piece of fish. The last time I’ll ever go here for “stickleback and chips”

The fish is gorgeous my daughter loves this place !
