Definitely the most delicious burger I have ever tried

Smashed burger price is abnormal. £11 for 1 normal smashed burger with Algerian sauce

food was genuinely awful would not recommend service was slow and absolutely would not recommend for the price. You’re better off getting an uber there and back to miami crispy or simply starving to avoid the disappointment. The only good thing was the drink which was a can

It said I can buy 1 get 1 free but when I called they wouldn't explain how I don't qualify for this yet I spent over £30 there.

Burger and chips stone cold. Can of Irn Bru warm. No care taken with the burger, looks like sauce was put on with a catapult. Go somewhere else

Decent food, service was a little slow. I only tried chicken burger, but mum tried beef and enjoyed that also.

Came inside and had to stand about till a young lad after 10 minutes came and took mine and my friends order. We then sat down and waited 45 minutes for a few burgers with fries. It was absolutely shocking and horrible from the staff.

Slow, late and poor customer service. Cant comment on taste because I am still waiting for my food half an hour after the stated time!

asian lad served us mouth opened not very welcoming. Told us 15 minutes which was fair enough. Food eventually arrived 45 minutes later after alot of pestering. Food was average Not very 45 minutes worth it was just fried fillet which only takes 5 minutes ?!! not busy at all phone was not ringing fair enough 3 uber eats order came whilst waiting that's about it. SHockin service avoid at all cost especially if travelling.

We’ve had food from here 4 times in June! Really good, fresh, tasty food. Amazing flavours and quick deliveries.

Waited over 35 minutes for 2 regular burgers, 3 chicken tenders which were the size of a pinky finger and 7 wings. There were zero orders and 4 people in the back who couldn’t handle making such a simple order. Used to love eating here but never again. Cost me £35 in total for rubbish food and disgusting customer service.

Disgusting the pictures are different I ordered chicken wings they were vile didn’t taste of bbq and the skin was falling off absolutely disgusting wouldn’t order again and don’t recommend

Food was really good and tasty, disappointed that they left one portion of fries out but there was enough to go around and the portion of food is decent.

Food is relatively nice but what a will say is a lot of it is very very spicy and doesn't state anywhere on the menu when ordering so if you don't like spice be aware

Got a double Patti smash burger 🍔. Amazing, melt in the mouth hardly need to chew.

Food is delicious but the staff is extremely rude. It took an hour for the food to come and even then the order wasn't complete. Pity the service is so bad cuz the food is ggenuinely amazing.

I think I will caveat that by saying the chicken burgers we had were average and that the real experience here is with the beef burgers which are actually amazing so this review is purely aimed at the beef burgers. The bun is brioche which is an absolute must when having a good burger ❤️ The cheese was melted ❤️ The beef was cooked nicely. The house sauce is an Algerian type sauce which went nicely with the skin on fries and chicken tenders I had. They have good but limited seating. I will say I wish the extractor fan had been set higher as there is a strong smell of cooking oil and we all walked away smelling like takeaway but not a deal breaker. Best thing about this place is they've stripped out all of the drinks from companies which support 6EN0C1D3. That alone was enough to bring us here and the quality of food means I'll defo be back!!!

Went to Side Street in Fallowfield having seen all the hype on social media. I ordered the Brisket melt as a meal and the total was £14.98. The food was very nice but portion size was very small. I can never understand why these brisket places never do a decent portion size. The brisket was tender, juicy and flavoursome. However, the portion was small and it is pricey. Overall I was not impressed. The place is not huge and parking is difficult. There was some confusion with our order as I was given the wrong burger in the first place. I can't understand why places spend all this money on their shop but won't spend a few pounds on getting stickers to identify the burgers. Also the service was terrible, your more likely to get better service at the morgue. I wouldn't recommend it and I think there are better places to spend your money. It is more style than substance. So if you are more about the style Side Street is for you.

Quite mid @ 3/5 Ordered Brisket with tater tots. The brisket was a bit dry and too little compared to the amount of tater tots. Turns out just my brisket was dry and the rest of the party had quite succulent slices so I can let that slide. Place is quite lively and bright but very cramped and can get quite dirty if you go later in the day like we did. Would’ve liked more sauce so the tater tots are coated and are sauces in every mouthful. The ratio of meat to price was too low in my opinion and I don’t see myself going here again but it’s definitely worth going once.

Cracking home made burgers, would recommend trying out.

Ordered on Uber Eats and after nearly an hour, they cancelled our order leaving it too late to order anything else, and now I will never order from there or eat there again.

Ordered the original stacker and original smash, their chicken is okay, a little dry. Their smash burgers were good but small for the price. Philly cheesesteak loaded fries however were banging and I’d go back just for those 9/10

Super vibrant a bit too warm 😄 food came out fast. I ordered the double beef sliders juicy and tasty 10/10.

Overpriced bag of salt and grease. No flavour, just salt and fake cheese between a sloppy bun. Undercooked unseasoned fries. Staff clearly hated their job. If I ate in, I would have asked for a refund The best part was the drink. I only wish I took a photo to show the mess that they charged for.

I ordered a reaper stacker and honestly it is better than before! I love the fries i feel like they are well better now. Also the tenders are fresh and juicy all the sauces that comes with it are delicious too. Beef burgers are just out of this world. Thank you Side Street for an amazing meal I really enjoyed it.

I went for the beef burger, and loaded fries was a lot better than what I had last time. The chicken burger previously was 2 chicken tenders in a bun, which was disappointing, but the beef burger was amazing. Service was good and was clean inside definitely recommend going here

The fish o fillet was not a fillet was more potato than fish was like mush also had chicken tenders and ive had a bad belly for 2 days

The philly steak loaded fries had about 10 tiny pieces of steak on it...it was mostly cheese & onions. We waited about 20 minutes then got luke warm food.

Inedible chicken burgers. Used to be amazing and made fresh tenders. Now they just put frozen chicken inside your burger and still charge £13 for a meal. Ordered a chicken tender burger meal but look at the chicken inside. All the coating falling off and it’s the size of a chicken breast from a normal burger meal. This isn’t a premium chicken burger. You can get this from a standard takeaway for £5. Don’t waste the remaining £8. They should refund me the £30+ I spent on 3 inedible burger meals.

I went on the basics to side street burgers as this was supposed to be one of the best, I went on a recommendations from a makeup blogger. Firstly the place is advertised to open at 4pm on google, it was nearly 6pm and they were just about to open. We decided to eat elsewhere as 2 of my kids who were with me were hungry, just to return 40mins later to try ordering a takeaway for my eldest son, who was home waiting to eat side street burgers! We got in just to be told we would have to wait 15 to 20 mins as the machine which made cooked the chicken wasnt on, we still decided to order and went to another shop to kill our time, My son unfortunately said the was a massive flop! Sadly very disappointed 😞 to top it all the service wasn't good at all, and they wasn't busy so customer service shouldn't have been that hard as we were the only people in there.

I ordered on Uber eats, and first thing is it took over 1 and half hours to get here, and then it was missing a third of my food.... What did arrive was tasty, but it's a shame after waiting so long, I was missing food

Food was good but service took a while. Wasn't very busy inside the restaurant but we had to wait just over half an hour to get our order. But they could have been very busy with take aways.

The burger was fine but personally I believe the sauce takes away the flavour. The texture was nice and fresh. The seating area is fine for what it is. The price is the only thing I believe it is slightly overpriced for what you get.

The smashed burgers are very, very good. Definitely amongst the best. The patties have a lightly crispy exterior with a juicy, meaty interior, and the sauce complements the burger extremely well, and really takes it to the next level. The fries are very good as well, they're quite thin, although I felt they could have been slightly more seasoned. The strawberry milkshake wasn't the best, it was frothy rather than creamy, and tasted more like vanilla with strawberry sauce, rather than actual strawberry milkshake. The other thing is that although the burgers are excellent, you end up spending far more than you'd expect for a burger meal. A smashed burger on its own here costs more than a smashed burger meal from a competitor in the same league. That said they are very good burgers, and worth trying if you haven't already.

The food was disappointing. Go to the Rochdale branch. Got my regular reaper stacker wasn't hot like the main branch very little sauce on it. The smash burger was wafer thin.... the cheese was thicker. Was looking forward to it thought it would be same quality and size as main branch but wasn't. Update : Gave it another try. Same issues asked why there was no reaper sauce as the original branch was told it's in the batter. Disappointed again wasn't spicy. Picture is the reaper stacker.

Side Street has some of the best smashed burgers going in manchester! they have friendly staff who make orders with care and it shows in the food!

Great burger, really tasty (more than just spice) and nowhere near as spicy as I thought it would be. The staff are awesome, and really friendly. Happy to help with the choice of menu. The Carolina stacker was amazing, loaded fries nice, but would ask for less cheese sauce next time (minor alteration, still 5*)

Food is amazing quality, the Philly cheese fries and BBQ stacker 🔥 Drinks are nice aswell with a good selection and the house sauce goes well with anything, and the service is perfect definitely recommend this place highly.

one of the best smashed patties we have had! I wasnt overly fond of the tenders, they didnt seem freshly made in house and reminded me of costco tenders. the chips were brilliant. My only reservation is we got a tiny tub of house sauce between the 2 of us and the condiments should have been more. Like mayo ketchup and house sauce.

Walked into this place, and firstly encountered two young boys sat behind the till area with faces on like they were forced into work. Didn't bother acknowledging us at all. I ordered a chicken burger MEAL with JUST cheese, and I reiterated this 3 times. They asked for 50p extra for the cheese, shameless, as burgers automatically come with cheese everywhere else??? Got my order without the fries, and apparently I didn't ask for the fries just a burger on its own hence them not being there. So now had to order my fries whilst the burger went cold. Handed over the food, the boy behind the till didn't even say thanks or bye. Got to the car and lo and behold the burger had mayo and lettuce on it when I asked for JUST CHEESE! Which proves they weren't listening to my order initially, even when I said I want a meal! I didn't go back in, as I wouldn't want to waste my energy on such an abysmal experience. I was debating on buying another meal on my initial order, I'm so glad I didn't!! It's ok to show food bloggers and advertise them in your shop, but I bet they get the 5 star experience unlike us paying customers!!! First and last time visiting.

Came here last night with my sister and cousins. My sister has been wanting to try this place since seeing them on Instagram. It isn't that big but it's big enough for a few tables and chairs. It's a burger place, so that's pretty much all they do. I ordered the cheesed up smash burger as a meal. Service was good, and we got our food pretty quickly. The food tasted nice but it wasn't a filling meal especially with what you pay for it. We wanted to try it and I recommend people do but I don't think we'll go again. Also, whoever is in charge of the website might need to look into updating the prices on there because they don't match what it says in the shop.

Ordered 2 BBQ stack meals have to say the burger was really good great flavours fresh and I can say if I visit Manchester again I would return, the only down side to the great food is the inconsistency of how the burgers are prepared, the burger I got for myself seemed alot smaller than my partners didn't stack up at all. Charging £3.29 for a meal instead of £1.99 like most places could possibly put people off and the 50p for sauces. Other than these two (personal gripes) I would highly recommend this place.
