Really tasty food and great service. Had imperial prawn toast which were amazing and a delicious chicken massuman curry. Would definitely recommend.

TAKEAWAY - On the recommendation of a friend & seeing the reviews on here, we decided to get a takeaway....I have never been so disgusted!! I was so disappointed as I was expecting good food. We had the meal deal and the only thing I ate was the Aromatic duck which was the starter. The spare ribs looked like it was something you would not feed your dog. The rice was completely solid which suggests it's old rice & has been microwaved - I could hold it in my hand without it breaking. Looking at the chicken & beef mains, I could not stomach any of it as it did not look appetising & the rest of it had already turned me off. My friend ended up taking the meat to feed the wild foxes & badgers at the back of his house. A total waste of money. I will not consider going back after that experience.

A mate and I called in here after visiting Swindon for football, it came on my mate’s recommendation and a good recommendation it was too. The food was plentiful in choice on the menu and we plumped for the set meal which was excellent. Starting with a platter of fish cakes, prawn sesame toast, chicken satay skewers , prawns in batter which all tasted lovely, we then had duck and pancakes which were delicious. The duck was very tasty and there was sufficient for us to have three each. We then had the three dishes , one of beef Marsala, one of prawns and the other a chicken dish with a sizeable portion of boiled rice . The dishes all had a very different accompanying sauce and had such different flavours, again all very nice. No complaints at all. The set meal is £38 per head but you get a lot for it including crackers and a spicy sauce prior to the platter , and the quality of the food was excellent as was the service. I am not local, but next time I am in the area I will definitely be seeking to re visit. Word of warning, if you are dining in, it may be prudent to book as they get very busy. It is understandable why.

Love this place. Food always excellent and arrives hot and tastes fresh. Staff friendly and always on hand but no constantly pestering you.

Never disappointed with a takeaway from here. Arrived within 30 mins of placing the order, nice and hot, tastes amazing. We had vegetable massamam curry, vegetable gyoza and salt & garlic prawns in batter. So so tasty, would highly recommend.

DisgustedBeen ordering here for years, eating in, home delivery. Now they want a minimum order of £30 + delivery charge. Since sharing my unhappiness about this, I have now had all deliveries to my address stopped. I suppose the only reviews they want are good and not honest. Siam Thai you can keep your food and I will support a local business who supports it's local people

Food is always amazing, best pad thai in swindon. Cocktails are great too. Service is always quick and food hot. Takeaway service is good also.

We chose four starters and two mains between the two of us and hoped for the usual large portions for meals in the week. We ate the lot. It was so tasty with correct sized portions of quality produce and cheffing skills. The SALT AND GARLIC RIBS were melt in the mouth with a dry coating which showed of great chef skill. The BAG TUNG THONG was most importantly delivered in the correct box to maintain the integrity and shape of the delicate crispy pastry. 100% delicious. The KING PRAWN TEMPURA was a light crispy coating over soft fish with a delightful dipping sauce. I'd better stop now, other than to say that my WEEPING TIGER SIRLOIN BEEF was perfect and the SPICY CRISPY SEABASS was outstanding.We really enjoyed our meal and can't recommend this restaurant enough. For my part it's all about the quality of ingredients after quality chef skills and the food we enjoyed tonight was both.

Booked a table for 4 which we were allocated to from 6-8.Service was friendly and efficient.The cocktails here are always good and you can taste the alcohol. Food was cooked fresh and served promptly. Lots of delicious Thai flavours coming through in the food. We particularly enjoy the mixed Thai starter, a selection of 5 popular starters to share. Great all round service.

Absolutely highly recommended, delicious Thai food and impeccable service. Including offering us free drinks as mains were delayed. It was worth the wait! Covid secure measures evident and reassuring. Will definitely visit again. Thanks for an amazing Thai meal ☺️

Went tonight, table was booked for 20.15 prior to the new government rules! Arrived on time but was completely rushed! Had a very lovely gentleman take our order but from there the staff were rude and we felt we were a burden due to the timescale! We understand the new rules we would have been out in time but felt uncomfortable! Didn’t get to eat our main so had to take away!!! Not good service and unfortunately after having a previous great meal, will not be returning, which is a shame!!

Had the sharing platter (3 of us) for starters which was nice. Thai Green curry wasn’t very nice and the chicken was very tough. Pad Thai was nice but again the chicken let the dish down. At nearly £24 for just a starter, main with rice and a soft drink it was too expensive for the quality of food.

They welcome you and follow the Covid-19 safety procedures correctly, check your temperature and all that, so that is already a major plus compared to many other establishments in the region, then the waiter's and waitress are very friendly and explain to you anything you might want to ask, really satisfied with the service.I am terrible with remembering names so I can't indicate which ones served me well but they all are nice, the food and atmosphere is what sold me with this place as well, The curry's, the chicken dishes are all very tasty the ones I have tried out so far so I will assume everything else is equally as good :)Will be returning more often!

We ordered through just eat for delivery on a Saturday night. I did expect quite a delay but 1.45 hours was quite a lot. However it was still piping hot so not all bad. I had duck with pineapple which was tasty. Duck was cooked perfectly. Not sure I would get that combo again but still tasty. My boyfriend enjoyed his pad Thai and was super impressed with the portion size. The highlight for me was the tempura vegetables. Plenty of veggies and dipping sauce. I would like some of the veggies a bit bigger but I still enjoyed it. I would like to venture to the actual restaurant next time.

We visisted as two couples, which we had pre-booked. With new guidance on returning to eating out, we were expecting to be checked in and shown what we needed to do. We had our temperatures taken, asked to use the sanitisers and once at our table, filled in the obligatory paperwork. The staff were all wearing masks and took great care to isolate used pens etc. We had an excellent eveing.The food was absolutely fabulous, the service attentive but not overly so. Nothing was any trouble at all. I highly recommend a visit to this little gem. You won't be disappointed!

My husband took me here for my birthday, we were not disappointed.We were made to feel very welcome the food was absolutely delicious and we did not feel rushed at all. If i had to have one criticism it would be the music. It felt like the kind of music you would find in a wine bar not a thai restaurant. However that did not take away the great experience we had and we will definitely be returning

Amazing food, chicken gyoza were the best I’ve tasted, tempura prawns were juicy and crisp, massamam curry is great every time we’ve had it. It’s not cheap but it’s worth the money. Sticky rice I wasn’t keen on or the chicken in black bean sauce however I love this place and is my new fave for takeaway!

Cool restaurant with a greatThai menu and very good service.Visited a few years before when it was a Chinese but so much better now.Large family group and we had booked so all good.Plenty of menu options across the price range so easy to spend as little or as much as you wanted.Service was prompt and polite with good drinks choices.Had a really enjoyable evening and the food was really excellent.Will definitely be back.

We've eaten in a number if times & due to lockdown thought we'd try the takeaway-delivery option. We weren't disappointed, great choice , ordered & delivered within an hour. Food arrived hot & ready to decanter to eat. We went for the meal deal, which offers a fantastic choice of dishes, albeit too much in a good way for two, with duck being one, the special ribs were awesome. Very good value for money & we've enoug for seconds.. Definitely worth a try if takeaway is your thing! For us the only thing missing is the restaurant ambience. Five Star & some..

Amazing Thai & Chinese food, top quality food! Our recent takeaway was just a lovely and fresh as when we dine in.

I remember this restaurant being a Chinese a few years ago, so on my latest visit to Swindon it was nice to see the change into Thai cuisine.I’d read some of the reviews , so decided to give the place a go.If it hadn’t been for a table of ten that came in after me,I would’ve been the only diner there that night!The menu isn’t cheap, neither are the wines. Their front of house team are Eastern European’s rather that Thai, so it was difficult to explain that I love my dishes Thai hot, but only with fresh chilli and not synthetic chilli ( powder or dried) For my starter I went for the beef salad at £14.00 (yes not cheap) ....it was terrible, they had smothered it in sweet chilli sauce, not only did it look disgusting it tasted horrendous as well.What made me smile (sarcasm) was the fact I’d ordered a bottle of wine which came twenty minutes before my starter, however the complimentary crackers and dip in sauce came with my starter!A bit of a shambles really. Also their toilets need addressing as they only have a disabled one for everyone, and considering the size of the restaurant there is certainly room to put in a ladies and gents.

Great Dimsum, the best I have had in the UK! Enough for 2 as a starter. Rest of food was good so worth a visit. (Except for toilet!) Staff friendly and service good.

First time coming here on a wet and windy valentines night, Staff were friendly and helpful, decor and layout of the restaurant is excellent, the sharing starter platter and duck and pancakes tasted good and came out very quickly, unfortunately we then waited over an hour for our main courses which didn’t come out at the same time, my wife’s pad thai was delicious but my weeping tiger dish was a let down and was mostly fat and gristle, our waiter dealt with the issue well but I left there dissatisfied and hungry

We had a lovely meal here. Plenty of things on the menu that I could have chosen. I had the spicy coconut soup and shared some spring rolls with my friend and then opted for the red Thai prawn curry with coconut rice. It was all perfectly cooked and spiced. Service was fine, a little invasive at times constantly checking if we had finished our starters and things but mostly it was great.

I love Thai food and I’m always looking for Thai food. I was really happy to find this takeaway with such good reviews. Three of us ordered normal Thai dishes from the menu and none of them were indicated as medium or hot spicy, just normal. Two of the three, absolutely good food...much better than expected for a takeaway. The third dish, mine, was extremely spicy so much that my mouth burned and I had a gastro attack as if I’d eaten an Indian vindaloo (which I haven’t had in a decade, learned that lesson). I only ate half of my food, thinking how bad could it be...maybe I’m just having a sensitive stomach today. Nope, went on for 12 hours almost immediately ...after I finished eating it started grumbling around. All I’d eaten earlier in the day was an omelette and toast for lunch. We weren’t drinking, etc. That being said, I’m not leaving a horrible review but more to let the restaurant know to be careful with their descriptions of sauces and spices and perhaps for other customers to ask what’s actually in it.

Absolutely delicious food with lots of choices. Food came out quickly. Although- when ordering food to share it would be good to have enough items to share. E.g 3 satay chicken sticks but 4 people.

The food is authentic and awesome. We can't decide which was the best as each item was blowing our minds. The atypical sweet dishes were of equal standards.

So disappointed. Having spent £50 on a takeaway for 3 people, we were anticipating something pretty special, but in all honesty it just left us feeling flat. It wasn't like we over ordered, a starter for 2 and 3 main courses with rice. The starter was cold and synthetic, the thai fish cakes in particular - rubbery. The main dishes were (in the main) bland, or in the case of the 'jungle curry' inedible. Really wish I had stuck with ordering a set menu for 4 from Rendezvous Abbey Meads - amazing quality, spectacular amount of food - lasted us for 2+ days. Would really have liked to have been more positive.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food. From my experience from the other Thai restaurants, this one is the best for me. I hope that people will support this restaurant. It is very neat and clean, I would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely worst food delivery ever!!! Slow cooked beef had some veg still raw in it, like it’s been cooked in microwave! But worst of all was Somtag salad, as a main dish with reasonable price it hardly filled one third of a plastic tub - I expected as in menu for it to be a meal not a side dish! Disgrace! Had other meals from Swindon Thai restaurants which were perfect, this is by far the biggest disappointment ever!

Foods are delicious, service is great, atmosphere is nice. We are here every week. You should give this place to try.

We visited on Friday evening as we were staying in Swindon overnight. We are from outside of the area so were relying on trip advisor reviews.

A very large menu that they still managed to adapt to individual tastes. Very convenient for the car park. Will return as good value for fresh tasty food.

This is a great place serving delicious thai food with lots of options on the menu to cater for everyone's taste. Must try Tom Kha seafood soup, Penang Curry Prawns. If you dare to eat spicy food then go for Jungle Curry:).

I’ve heard good reviews about this place and heard they do a wild range of gluten free food so thought I’d try it out for myself. I want to thank the staff for a lovely experience, delicious food and helping me with my dietary needs. HIGHLY recommended.

Our party of two couples enjoyed excellent food and good service at this very pleasant Thai restaurant. I had slow cooked Beef Massaman and my wife had Pad Thai Prawns which were both excellent. Our friends had the chef's special Seabass, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely return when we next visit Swindon Old Town.

Went to Siam Thai for an early evening dinner on Sunday. Very helpful and attentive waiter. Once he knew that I was vegetarian he was very careful to reassure me that my menu choices were suitable. Really enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend the Tom Kha Mushroom soup and Vegetable Penang Curry. Would definitely visit again.

6 of us visited on a busy Saturday evening . We all had starters, duck and pancakes, a main and various sides. 2 desserts also. The food was all hot, freshly cooked and delicious . The service was excellent . Really enjoyed our evening .

We went there with a group of 7 people among which there were some vegetarians. They were helpful with our food requirement changes that was suitable for vegetarians . I was very happy with service and the food was great .

I don't normally go for Thai food because I don't like coconut but this place had loads of choice without coconut. Best Thai food I have ever had especially the platter starter. Amazing.

From the warm welcome and balanced service (attentive and readily available but plenty of space to enjoy the evening without wanting for anything) the whole evening was very enjoyable. The Siam Thai Chu Chi Imperial Sauce with large fresh water prawns was superb and everyone at the table had a great time.

I like my food with a bit of a kick, they were happy to tweak my order slightly to make it extra special. Nice atmosphere and good value with good service.

We used to eat here in its previous ‘incarnation’ when you could get Thai and Chinese food, it is far better, under new management, now the focus is on Thai food only!

Colleagues and I visited last week. My first time here and overall a very pleasant experience. The starter was great. It was a sharing platter of delights! My main was a little bland for me but it was only my 2nd experience of ordered Thai food, so I can’t grumble much. The accompanying sticky rice was good. I would certainly return to try more dishes.

Have eaten in the restaurant twice and most recently had a takeaway. By far the best Thai in Swindon, wont go anywhere else now. The Siam Thai Chu Chi Imperial Prawns is to die for, Panang Curry in last night’s takeaway was most impressive too! Delivery within 30 mins on a Saturday night was great. Will be back soon!

This was my first visit since the restaurant changed format. Both me and my business associate chose the Weeping Tiger with sticky rice and this was very good. The service was good, pretty quick and friendly.

First time to this restaurant last weekend and looking forward to going back again. The Thai fishcakes were th best we have tasted in a long time (since Broadwalk 15 years old when they did Thai) and were handmade not the pre-made frozen ones that you get in a lot of Thai restaurants now. The penang beef was lovely and tasty with really tender beef, quite mild and could of been a little spicier but again one of the best I have had. My husband had the Scallop dish for main which he said was very spicy but very nice. A little more expensive than some Thai restaurants we have visited but worth it and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Finally a good Thai restaurant in Swindon, instead of Chinese restaurants selling terrible Thai food. Lovely restaurant and great service. Bit pricey, but if that's the cost of a good Thai food than I am more than happy to pay it.

We went for the lunch time menu and for the of the food the quality was amazing. The service is very friendly and extremely clean. Two courses for 9.99 so the price so reasonable and the food taste so fresh. Best Thai in Town and would recommend everyone to go!

We went to Siam Thai recently and had a fantastic meal and great service. It was a very hot day and they were very considerate, checking that the air conditioning near us was working well enough and that we were comfortable.

Our friends booked Siam Thai for a meal for our regular catch up, I had never eaten Thai food before. On arrival the staff were very friendly and showed us to our table. We were offered drinks and the food and wine menu’s, Along with some crackers

Ordered take away on a busy Saturday night, food arrived within an hour and everything was really hot still. The prawns in blankets were amazing, portions for the mains were big and we could have easily shared. I had pad thai with prawns which was really nice, not dry at all and a fair amount of prawns. My partner had the red Thai curry with chicken which he said was really tasty. Will definitely be ordering again!

We love Thai food and have had many lovely meals in different towns but this was a few notches above every other meal. The flavours were delicate yet rich at the same time; every mouthful appetising.

Visited with friends in a party of six and had a great experience. Service was fine and we opted for the six person banquet, which turned out to be a great choice in terms of; variety, quality and quantity.

Went out wirh a group of friends (prebooked) ordered drinks 1st then good. After an hour no drinks asked where they were was told we busy down stairs (We were sat up stairs) starters arrived before our drinks .mains arrived fine .Poor service aircon very cold asked for it to be turned off . Mains were good and a good size but service was a let down don't think we'll be going back .

Located on the periphery of Swindon's Old Town this place exceeded expectations.

First time visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by very friendly waitress and quikly seated. It was around 19.00 and the restaurant was extremely busy which was a good sign. My wife and I really enjoy Thai food and decided to skip starters and share three mains...a tamarind duck special, a thai green curry and a spicy beef stir fry with 2 sticky rice. After a singha beer and complimentary crackers the mains arrived promptly and were authentic and delicious. We also had plenty of space and did not feel rushed. Thoroughly recommended ......

My husband and I have dined here five or six times, and have never had a bad meal. We dropped in early on Saturday night, on the off-chance they had a free table. They did, but we had to vacate it by 8pm for a reservation - not a problem.

Just ordered food from here online via Just Eat. First experience with this restaurant, was quoted £19.88, which included 25% discount for order, but food came and driver asked for full price of order. After call to restaurant, they demanded food be returned and would not honour online deal. Will not use again.

The service was loverly, with friendly and attentive staff! The food that came out was also pretty good, with even the fussiest eaters in our group happy.

I have visited this restaurant many times as the food is amazing! So much variety. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you are looked after by the wonderful staff - nothing is to much trouble, could not recommend highly enough - if you haven't been you are missing out - I guarantee that once you have been once you would be able to stop yourself going back.

Great value on the lunch time set menu and the food was very tasty but seemed the staff wanted us out asap and kept hovering and clearing each plate and glass as it was finished with even though others were still eating and drinking. Quite rude customer service which diminished the good food and lovely decor of the restaurant - shame. I won't be back!

When you walk in this place is spotless, authentic and welcoming. The staff are so lovely, there is so much to choose from. For someone who doesn't really like prawns I can't rave about the prawn toast starter.

I've been here a few times now, and every time is as good as the first. Friendly atmosphere, great tasting food. highly recommend you give them a visit. you wont be disapointed.

I’ve been to many Thai restaurants, this is certainly up there with the best. Beautiful decor, excellent service and amazing food. We had a couple of light starters (saving ourselves for the main event). I had the Weeping Tiger, a medium rare steak dish and my better half had the Duck Tamarind. Both full of flavour and perfectly cooked. We paired our meaty mains with a fine bottle of Margeaux (a personal favourite). All in all a lovely meal and a positively pleasant evening!

First timer to Siam Thai and I will definitely be back!!

Great night Recommend the prawn toast starter, Liked the meal so much I’m planning on getting a take away delivery this Friday makes a change the standard Chinese with the quality of the food.

We booked a table for 7 people to celebrate Mother's Day - there were 4 vegans in the group so we had called up twice to check there were options and were told that 'all curries, noodles and salads could be adapted'. When we arrived and asked to see the allergens menu we were given a gluten free menu and the waitress had no concept of veganism - turns out all the curries, noodles and salads contain oyster sauce and fish sauce in the actual paste, so they couldn't be adapted. There was 1 dish on the whole menu that was suitable - this restaurant is NOT vegan friendly AT ALL as advertised.

We chose to eat here since the parking was conveniently close by and it was pouring with rain. I have another Thai restaurant that I would have preferred but I was overruled since it would have meant walking. We were shown up to a table on the first floor, left with some menus and ordered drinks. I found the food and drinks service to be very slow, at one stage a young waiter took our second drinks order and then just disappeared not to return. I had to get the attention of another waitress and re-order. The food, when it finally came was nothing more than average. I had ordered Chicken Pad Thai which was tasty enough but in terms of it's texture not what I'm used to having. If there were any peanuts (as there should have been) I certainly couldn't see or taste them. One thing that really did shock me is how much they are charging for a small bottle of Singa beer.. £4.50? wtf??.. two bottles each set us back £18.00. How do they have the nerve to actually do that!!

Took the team here for lunch recently and was very pleased with the food and service. Parking is easy as there is the Old Town parking right in front. I booked in advance for 7 of us for lunch and the service was very good. Set meal options for 9.99 or a la carte. The team had a variety of dishes and all well received so quality was good. Worth a look if you want good oriental cuisine in your lunch hour.

This was my first visit to this Thai restaurant in Swindon. Service was exceptional! We went on a Thursday evening and had thankfully made a reservation as it filled up with groups and families and couples. I was thrilled with my seabass dish - it was fresh, well cooked and spicy. My 3 fellow guests liked their curries but were surprised they weren't hotter. Overall a nice meal and time. I would happily return.

Family visiting from Los Angeles and it's not easy to find a decent restaurant in Swindon that matches up with anything we get to go to when over there. Always a bit embarrassing to be honest.

Been here twice now. Restaurant is kitted out nicely with Thai decor & has a nice relaxed ambience. I cannot fault the serving staff, they are all so polite and attentive.
