Without a physical menu, ordering takes more time. The food portions are not big, especially the curry with rice, and the chicken portion is only about 4 pieces, but it tastes good. I like Miangphed's dish very much, Duck Summer Roll with mix salad and hoisin sauce. There is no need to add sauce, there are crunchy ingredients inside, and the overall taste is fresh.

Visited this Thai restaurant tonight with a group of friends before catching a film. I would say hit and miss with varies of dishes but what really bothered me was the level of service and attitude of the owner / how she dealt with the situation. We ordered the food by their codes they set on their digital menu - as you normally would, they double-check with customers what they have ordered. All was well till we reached the end of dinner prior to getting the bill. We did notice they missed out a salad dish, and when the bill came, it was included on so we pointed out to the owner. The owner basically served us a different salad and not notified us. She commented, "The code you gave me doesn't match the system on the machine." (That's not true when the dish we wanted is clearly printed on the bill with code and name) Furthermore, she commented, "The salad you had, is the same price as the one you originally ordered" - so it doesn't matter what the customer wants, as long as it's the same price, it's ok to change and not letting your customers know?? Anyway, we couldn't see the argument going anywhere, so we paid the bill; including the dish they served wrong as we did eat it - Its a salad after all! But I have to say how the owner dealt with the issue was appalling with no integrity, which dragged the whole experience and food down with it. If you are planning to dine here, I would say order by name and possibly keep an eye on what they serve you if you are in bigger groups

Recently visited this Thai restaurant with friends, it was a very disappointing experience. First of all, the food was not up to standard. The Tom Yum soup lacked the authentic spicy and sour flavors—it was bland and watered down. Asked for no coriander and end up coriander every where. This is not acceptable!! However, the worst part was the service. The staff gave us the wrong dishes, and when we pointed it out, instead of apologizing and fixing the mistake, they tried to shift the blame onto us. They claimed they were simply following our instructions, but we checked the order slip and saw that they had indeed made the mistake. Even after we showed them, they continued to insist it was our fault. Then, to make matters worse, they tried to blame us again, saying that since we had received the wrong food, it was our responsibility to tell them earlier—as if it wasn’t their job to ensure orders were correct in the first place! If you are thinking to visit this Thai restaurant, I would say just avoid it, there are many better Thai restaurants all across Manchester.

I had seafood noodle soup. For £17 + service charge that wasn't mentioned in the menu and staff there were: 2 large prawns, 2 fishcakes, 2 fish balls, 2 slices of octopus and instant noodles. The broth wasn't enjoyable on its own and the dish didn't even fill me up. Very disappointed with instant noodles as the restaurant is a noodle bar. The staff wasn't attentive and waited for ages.

The food itself was flavoursome and fragrant, however with the curry dish the portion size was extremely small, you barely get much meat. The noodle dish was generous with the prawns, but not much noodles, the soup was hearty and delicious though but just wish they had more noodles. Overall the food is nice but it’s quite expensive for the small portion sizes you get.

I’ve always wanted to try this Thai restaurant The restaurant is located in an isolated area of Deansgate Cinema. It’s a good place to eat after watching the movie. The seats are spacious and comfortable, but the air conditioning is not enough, so it may get a little hot in summer The curry with boiled prawns and Tom Yum Goong is so delicious, with just the right amount of sourness and spiciness. In addition, the spicy shredded pork rice is recommended. The sauce is delicious. After the meal, the staff would come over and ask for advice on the food. It turns out that the boss and the chef’s wife are both from Bangkok, Thailand. The family has been running this restaurant for several years The taste retains the Thai cooking method while suiting local tastes appropriately. At least I think it tastes better than chain stores

Very small restaurant but came quite late so we managed to get a seat. Service was really nice and they were just the right amount of attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and you could see the chef cooking right in front of you too which added to the atmosphere. My main complaint is the portion size compared to the price... Particularly the curry. There just isn't enough of it especially when compared to the rice which is particularly annoying because the sauce was so good! Had to order 2x portions to try to satisfy the craving (which is the only reason my rating is a 4 and not a 5). Just a word of warning - the menu is quite short so depending on preferences you may not find what you're craving (we did but we looked it up beforehand).

Visited this place with my partner for dinner. - Dried strip pork £6.95 It's a good side dish before your main dish come, taste good with the dipping sauce that came together. It would taste plain without sauce. The sauce is a bit spicy, so don't dip too much if you don't eat spicy foods often. - Thai milk tea £4.25 It taste very authentic, the colour of the drink is definitely a proper Thai milk tea. - Kao saam sahai £14.95 (Crispy pork belly, BBQ pork, crispy duck with rice) This is a rice dish, came with a bowl of soup. I liked this rice dish but still there were some down parts. The crispy pork wasn't crispy at all and taste soggy. There's also bone on it, not sure if it's Thai style, but I never had bone in crispy pork in any other places. Duck slices were very thin. - Kaw Pad £14.95 (Fried rice with the meat of your choice) We choose pork belly, it taste good but there's not much special I can recall about this dish. Overall the flavor of the foods were good, but consider the price with the portions we got, I'd say it's a bit overpriced. Staff were very friendly.

Everything generally lacked flavour and overall it tastes like home cooking. Not worth the money spent. Significantly better thai places in Mcr for the same price. Sorry. Response to the owner - Wow, is that how you talk to paying customers who want to leave an honest review? It is very unprofessional and shows how you cannot handle constructive feedback. What a horrible attitude you have. I have been to Thai Kitchen No.6, Thaikun, Try Thai, Hong Thai and Chilli Banana in Manchester. They are all significantly better quality and taste than your food, and for the same price. As an asian person, I also go to Thailand regularly and so know about authentic Thai food. We tried this place for Saturday dinner and it is an interesting one as the food was lovely and authentic but be forewarned that service is a bit hit and miss. In terms of food, my hubby and I had the yam woon sen, tom yum noodle soup and pork kao pad ka prow. It was all tasty and packed a (chilli) punch and I was glad they obliged with my 'no coriander' request. However, we were part of a big group of 11 and whilst some got their food fairly promptly, there were others who only got their food after the rest had long finished their meal. We appreciate that they may not have been used to a big group but it would be great if they had been more communicative or apologetic given the big delays. In addition, they kept confusing our orders and we kept having to remind them about outstanding items. That said, the food is nice and I think if it's just an individual or small group, it could be ok.

BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN MANCHESTER I said it and i will say it again!!! This is as close as you can get for authentic thai food in Manchester. I have tried a few Thai restaurants and nothing has ever come close! I LOVE their Tom Yum, it is perfectly sour and with a great kick to it. Other restaurants do it too thick, too salty, not sour and spicy enough. But this is the real deal! Their noodles are chewy and goes well with the broth. We also ordered the pork blood broth noodles, which I forgot the Thai name. If you have never had it the idea might be scary, but you will not taste the blood at all, just deep and rich broth that will make you want to finish it. I expected the grilled pork and deep fried tofu to be a bigger portion to be honest, shocked me a bit when I saw it coming. But they did the sides good as well, well seasoned pork with spicy tangy sauce, tofu with rich soy taste. Their pineapple juice is amazing as well, taste like fresh pineapple, no extra seasoning, no chemical taste. Just refreshing summer drink like what I will get in Thailand! I just wish the portions were bigger, even the noodles are not enough to fill me, a not so big eater. The sides have much smaller portions compared to the photos on the menu. I would expect bigger plates with such price!

We are currently still sat in the restaurant while writing this. It’s one of my favourite places. From the atmosphere to the food! It’s so intimate and lovely! I wanted to take photos of each dish we had but I only managed to take one photo as we got carried away so you can see the stack of plates! Absolutely delicious. 1000% recommend

The best Thai restaurant in Manchester city centre ever. Traditional Thai flavor, real Thai food with no deducted spicy taste. Thai milk tea and soup noodles are recommended.

Fabulous authentic Thai food. Lovely staff. Couple of Thai beers available too. A bit small for a buzzing atmosphere but great for small group bookings

Wonderful little restaurant tugged into an upper level retail space! Had two bowls of noodles there and both were great! Very authentic by a Thai chef!

Best place to eat super authentic, chef is independent and cook in her own way, she don’t need rude customers who not appreciate and know well about Thai foods and culture , whoever complain is ur own issues I think, don’t happy don’t go out just eat your own foods at home Best Thai foods in the world for us🇹🇭😊

Never experienced a worse service than this place. The table was dirty. Staffs were so rude. Felt like they didn’t want to welcome any guest. Won’t go back and won’t recommend it.

Delicious coffee, but not hot enough. We only had a croissant with our coffee. Not a warm place.

Food was nice but the portion was so small compared to the price I paid for my main (£25) one side is not enough for a steak. It should've been minimum of 2. The pepper sauce was so good it's a shame it's only about 25ml. To me, it's only worth eating at this place just once.

Really mid and overpriced but i guess I've had worse. Atmosphere was best part since it kind of had a nice cabaret vibe almost. Seats weren't great though. Service was fine, very stern but i don't mind that much i guess. In terms of food, eh, again it's pretty eh. I had salmon don and it was ok but not excellent. Needs more sauce. Wasabi was pretty good. Also, sake is supposed to be luke warm. It was room temp. Very overpriced for what it is and I'd rather get a kebab for the money.
