Disgusting uou don't offer customers tap water when requested. You accept service charge from us but refuse me water! Isn't this totally illegal???

Really disappointing takeaway! We ordered 3 dishes and only one had any Thai flavour. The lettuce wraps were ok, nice filling but nothing that we could identify as typical Thai, but the worst dish was the spicy tiger prawns with 'special Thai sauce'. There was no seasoning or sauce - unless this was the small unlabelled pot of very salty brown sauce with green chillies that came with the takeaway?? The famous green curry with veg had the lovely depth of Thai flavour that we wanted, but the large pieces of vegetable which were very obviously from a frozen mix would have been more appetising if chopped up. Perhaps the chef had a night off or we just had bad luck - either way we won't be ordering from Siam River again.

Been here a few times now and the food has been great every single time. It’s tasty and full of flavour. The staff are friendly too and always very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A great place for a quick business meeting and delicious lunch over a few beers. Their Pad Thai with Chicken, Prawn cakes and Papaya salad is outstanding. Beware, their salad is powerfully spicy if you don't state your preference at the time of ordering. Bar serves a cool beers which are most welcoming during this heatwave. I have visited here in the evenings, and it does get very busy with tables hard to get, since they do not take table bookings. Parking is very easy across the road and fee is reasonable for time parked. Highly recommend for lunch time meetings.!

Fabulous authentic Thai food served here with outstanding choice of beverages at the bar. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and when too busy to get a table, I get a takeaway. Main dishes to look for freshly made papaya salad with chilli heat to taste. I prefer medium since they use lethal bullet Birds Eye chilli from Thailand. Next chicken lettuce wrap is a great refreshing starter to share. But their prawn crackers are spicy and made of actual prawn unlike the white version served elsewhere. No meal is incomplete without the obligatory Thai green curry with beef, medium spicy. They serve it with a small portion of complimentary jasmine rice. No other place I have visited comp. rice with their mains. Sadly, they don’t offer deserts like they used to in the past but nothing to worry about, since Baskin Robins is few yards walk away from here. Keep up the good work. Will definitely be back next week.

My family ordered regularly from Siam River but I was very disappointed at how I was treated when I ordered 2 chicken satays as part of a larger order and received 2 chicken pad thais instead ! When I called the restaurant and pointed this out, I was told I had ordered chicken pad Thai and not chicken satay. I asked how the female order taker had confused chicken satay with chicken pad Thai, but she insisted it was my fault and refused to change to swap the food (we had not eaten the chicken pad Thai as we don't like it). What happened to regular customers are right ?? I later called and asked to speak to the Manager (not present) and left my name and number, but did not receive a call. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, the Manager and staff are clearly arrogant

Great authentic Thai food - huge portions too! Well worth a visit. Recommend the weeping tiger if you have the taste buds to enjoy something with a bit more heat!

We have been coming here for Thai food for years and we have never ever had a bad meal, the food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly and polite, we have brought different groups of friends and family here for food and they always have something positive to say, we eat here atleast once a month sometimes 2 or 3 times and will continue to keep coming back. I highly recommend the duck pad Thai, the best ever.

Early on a Saturday, we popped in for Thai beef salad and duck stir fry with garlic and chilli. Both were perfect. The pub has had a lovely makeover and cannot fault the food.

This place is beautiful, they've recently renovated and it looks incredible, its a great place to get drinks with friends and chill out. The best part of being here is the food, delicious and beautifully presented, the waiteress in particular is lovely, she is consistantly super polite and even remembers us which is amazing when we only come here once a month. Every time we are in Northwood we always go to the Three Wishes, Thai food the way its supposed to be done, delicious and fresh. Thanks so much for the consistantly amazing food and perfect service!

I live across the road from the pub where this food is served. While the other dining options are for meals out, I tend to get take-away more than I ever eat in as the pub renovation is atrocious and unappealing. The food is consistently fresh, authentic, and efficient to order and receive even when they are busy. My favourite dishes are the papaya salad, black pepper fish, and the green or red curries.

Wow amazing food and plenty of it. A little expensive but worth it as the food was freshly made and the flavours were on point. So much until I’m back again and I’m not even local lol

Tonight, a party of four had Tom Kha, Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, Choo Chee Fish, Duck Tamarind, Chicken Massaman and Jasmine rice. All the dishes were xcellent and seasonings were well balanced. So nice to have a Thai restaurant of such quality local to home.

Authentic Thai food ! Literally the best papaya salad outside of Thailand. Fresh and fragrant. Chicken satay is very tender and all Thai curries pack a punch. Consistently good … never disappointed.

Top drawer takeaway. Could not have asked for better or a more reasonably priced meal. The green curry is like no other, and the coconut rice is absolute fantastic. Would highly recommend.

I have been to this place quite a few times and it has pleased me with every visit. They have a good variety in the vegetarian menu. My favourite is papaya salad. Its the best!! It's a nice place to be with friends and the staff has always been friendly. Location: its a 3 min walk from Northwood underground station. Highly recommended!!

Been to Thailand a few times & I find this the most authentic I've tasted in this country,we had Duck spring rolls Sweetcorn cakes & Pad Thai all very tasty & well presented also the pub does a great Guinness!!

Impressed when eating Thai meal at The Misty Moon. We had a great time enjoying the prawn and duck curry with Singapore noodles. Not too chilli like some Thai food which meant we could enjoy eating more, fresh vegetables so good. The rose wine and beer were good too and The Misty Moon had a nice atmosphere vibe with plenty of regular clients and a band on Saturday. All in all a very enjoyable evening out of the house! Thank you to the landlady also who to us was polite and hospitable. Worth a visit even in passing.

If you are looking for a dinner date, this might not be a right place as it is a pub but their food is the best. Best Thai food that you get in north west London. You would think there may not be much veg options but there are plenty. Their papaya salad is must eat.On the down side the ambience isn’t great. Very few dinner table and how can I forget the landlady or pub manager / owner is just rude. Just ignore her, she isn’t worth it.

The Lemon Grass in the meal was like sticks of Bamboo. Had a splinter stuck in my gum. Never again. The waitress never offered any kind of refund

Had a small takeaway from here on a busy Friday. It took 15 minutes from order to collection, great.We had a duck Panang Curry, really lovely, but then it'd be hard to make a bad one. A Papaya Salad which was an explosion of sour, chilli and bursting freshness. The real star, even better than either of those super dishes, was the Prawn Cakes, I think probably the best new dish I've tried anywhere for years. Like a large, beautiful, King Prawn rolled into a cake shape, coated in something with a sweet chilli dish, it was fantastic.I'll be having this again very soon. I think that there are probably some other real stars on the menu and I plan to find out.

I just popped in for a quick lunch which was not a Thai food but as served in the same pub Misty Moon Northwood by the same people I writing this review here. It was traditional English cuisine: burger and chips, both arrived very much cold. Burger looked as if was reheated at least few times; really highly unpleasant experience. Drinks (cider and beer, ordered by my company) were unfit for consumption (you could guess that the beer/ cider pipes never get cleaned on these premises). I simply struggle to understand how this can be even allowed from health and safety point of view. Even though I politely explained to a lady serving food that its quality is far from right she insisted on a payment. A bar staff was pleasant enough but this did not change a fact that the state of their drinks is unbearable. While I went to settle the bill one of pub goers shared his agreement about the food quality. The waitress insisted on being paid in cash, only last minute card was excepted and final 10% discount was amended to uneaten horrid looking food bill. Overall this is the worst pub experience in my entire life.

Having recently been deployed from stateside for my six month stint nearby base.Misty moon is our regular watering hole every wednesday evening when we all go out as a group for entertainment away from base.The Thai food here is simply mind blowing. Full of taste with real authentic ingredients used in every dish we ordered. Coming from Texas, I like my dishes spicy, so when ordering I ordered spicy Pad Kra Pow with Chicken and garlic fried rice.They use birdseye chillies here, and boy, it was the best meal I've had outside Thailand. Starters were very good too, chicken satay with peanut sauce which I'm told is made fresh on the premises and not shop bought.Weeping tiger also ordered with again their house chilli sauce they only serve with this dish. Every tender beef cut into pieces and griddled.All in all very filling and value for money. This place also offers the best beers, nice and chilled. You do have to order drinks at the bar as and when you require since food is separate. Best of all, NO SERVICE CHARGE, unlike stateside.See you next week.

This Thai restaurant has changed the name to Mr Moon, still located within The Misty Moon, a public bar. The food and service were good, but quite noise around due to the football match on that day.

We had a Pad Thai and a few other dishes and they were the closest I’ve had to ‘real’ Thai food!! Absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area

No wonder the Misty Moon pub doesn’t come up on tripadvisor, I want to highlight I didn’t taste the food but Jenifer the landlady is possibly the worst human being I’ve ever come across. I’m not a judgemental person but I cannot hold my tongue with such a vile individual.

Had a jungle curry with rice, very colourful, very hot and very nice, ate it while watching the football with a few beers.

We liked it, had starters and mains, papaya salad is very hot, but, loved it. I'd say prices are reasonable.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is of a high standard. The menu provides lots of options to suit your taste and if you are not keen on Thai food, they also have a small English menu. This is by far the best choice for Thai food for miles.

The Thai food was spot on. Especually great chicken satay and peanut sauce; prawn dishes are really nice with flavours generally on par with restaurants! Just could not give it 5 stars unfortunately because the place needs a through clean and polish to get rid of those lingering pub scents..shame as there is real talent in the kitchen.

This is a real hidden gem. The food was authentic, delicious and well priced. We visited on a Saturday night and whilst it was busy the service was great, we were made very welcome. We had a few dishes, but the star of the show was certainly the 'jungle curry'....very flavoursome with just the right amount of kick. The restaurant is inside Misty Moons pub, which is popular and well managed, so on occasion it is a little difficult to get a seat, as it's not possible to make a reservation. Having said that it's worth taking a chance. We were delighted with our experience. Many thanks

The food at Siam river Thai (inside misty moon pub) is very nice, however some dishes not as authentic as you would hope.

Have eaten or gotten take away from Siam Riger many times, never disappointed. Food is delicious. Being a vegetarian there is ample choice for me.

I am so fussy with Thai food, being vegetarian and sensitive to additives and msg..so I feel I have struck gold with this place..we ordered a takeaway instead of sitting in the pub as advised by some friends, and it was SO DAMN DELICIOUS we had to go back and get another pad Thai for me! The vegetables were fresh and the dishes PACKED with flavour from good quality cooking, not cheap, mass produced ready made sauces..these chefs could open up a restaurant then people can have their ambiance as well as the super tasty, beautiful food. But in the meantime I’m happy to eat good quality delicious fresh food from this place while chilling on my sofa and watching a good movie. Yummy!

I come here often with my husband and with friends. Whoever I've brought here has loved it as much as I do. The food is consistently excellent and the service is second to none. Also I'm a vegetarian and have to say that the choice is huge. Went last night and I already can't wait to go back!

Lovely Thai food in a local pub, wonderful Penang curry in perfect sized portions, my hubby had massaman curry and loved it, we sat in a cute booth and the service is attentive and quick. The pub enables you to order your own drinks so it makes a meal there very reasonable. We love it!

My husband wanted this tonight so I found misty moon on trip advisor and read review which were good, so thought we would give it a go .Well we were surprised the review were right, pub was very busy which we did not expect, You have to ring bell for a very nice lady to come and take your order we ordered Siam river this platter and duck tamarind and this green curry and it was all very very nice and good value for money.So we will definitely come back and if you like this you will like this as it is relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

Good Thai food, Cooked by Thai staff in a pub. Not much on the limited menu, but all the basics are there, I’m sure if you asked for something they would oblige. Good prices in an ex Wetherspoons pub, not Wetherspoons prices though for drink, I will be back soon.

Service is quick and efficient - the menu isGood and offers something for everybody.The food is really tasty and delivered quickly.The pub does get busy so not really the kind of place you would go for a quiet meal (there is live music on Saturdays and TVs showing Various Sports at other times) I however think this is a great fusion between English culture and Thai cuisine I will certainly be returning!

Our waitress was Anne she was friendly and helped us with our menu choices, chicken lettuce wraps starter was lovely and could be shared as a starter or had to your self if you are very hungry!!! Waitress did warn me of this before I ordered!! Pad broccoli with chicken for main was lovely, generous portions fresh flavoursome food. Best Thai food I have eaten for a very long time. Such good value too. 3 large starters, 3 mains and a huge bowl of prawn crackers for £45.

Simply do not bother going here in the weekend as you would simply not have a decent peaceful meal. It's in a pub and gets really crowded to watch footie and you simply have to shout in order to have a conversation with your partner. The food is pretty average too but nicely presented and service is hit and miss as they would not even bother to ask if starers are finished and simply take away the plates on the table. There are plenty of better restaurants in the area where you could get good service and food and enjoy a nice meal in a proper restaurant ambiance. Maybe a good option would be take out instead.

The Misty Moon itself was not bad and Christine behind the bar looked like a decent old lady. Yet the pub food was actually separately provided by this Thai restaurant located within the pub, which is weird, as you would need to pay twice for food and drink, respectively. The service was so appalling that I had to have an outright argument with the manager, whose name is Sanjay Dattani. Initially I just tried to politely express my concern to him that my plate was accidentally taken away before I was yet to fully finish and that a biil was put on my table before I even asked for it. But clearly it turned out that in his mind, it would always be the customer to blame. I ended up deciding to "pay in protest" and asked for a proper printed receipt showing VAT registration number, so that I could escalate the complaint later on. Yet Mr Dattani did not even bother with that. He just gave me a hand written slip and began to dirty mouth at me. I did report the incident to the police, who advised me to leave the matter with them, to dispute the payment with my credit card company, and to report the missing of receipt with VAT information to HMRC for suspicious tax evasion. After all, I just wouldn't bother wasting my own time with someone who is clearly not yet cilvilised enough to run business in this part of the world.

We met up with family in Misty Moons, Northwood and they have a Thai restaurant called Siam River Thai.They do lovely tasty food and they have such a selection to choose from - starters, soups, salads, mains and curry's all reasonably priced.We had a 2 course meal with tip came to £15 each, being in the bar the drinks are not too bad either.The food is so lush and filling.

Not bad, they were out of duck when we came here. Portions are good for what you pay, although they are extra (super duper) generous with the vegetables in the curries!!! The starter platter is great, lots to choose and feeds three hungry people or a less hungry family of four. Awkward setting in the pub though, not sure the ambience is for everyone!

Visited here for my mothers birthday and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Great service by Anne and Sanjay and the food was genuinely so authentic and tasty. Will definitely be visiting frequently!

Having moved from Pinner to Newbury, when I get the chance to come back, a visit to the Siam River is usually on the cards. The food is always fresh and the staff are pleasant. I'll be having the Singapore noodles again. That and the green and red curries are my favourite. The beers good too

Dinner at the Siam River Thai, Misty Moon, London was such a flavoursome feast,The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, it was more than pleasing.Thai food is internationally famous, and I found that the harmony of flavours and spices is the guiding principle behind each dish at Siam River. I especially enjoyed the great service and the very comfortable surroundings of the Misty Moon Pub.

What can I say other than the food was hot, tasty and very enjoyable. Clearly freshly cooked and looked really appealing.So pleased I made the decision to stop and eat. Would recommend without hesitation. Note we were served by a lovely young lady called Anne who really looked after us if your lucky she will look after you too.

Ok, 1) I was not expecting the food to be as good as it is when I walked in ; and2) I had no clue the do Thai food, as it's a pub !The Thai food is as good as I have had in London. It's phenomenal, would give the food 5 stars alone ! Also, the gentleman, who appears to be the manager (may not be) is extremely hospitable and kind. where I would drop points is, that it's a pub and seatng is done on a first come first serve basis. You are almost competing with people who want just a drink whereas you are there for a meal. It was so busy one of the days, we opted for a take away... the take away is as good as having it there so it wasn't a problem (although washing the dishes at home was).The food is so good I can't give this place any less than 5 stars. A great little find - would def recommend and go back as many times as possible.

6 people for dinner last night so decided to get a take-away from the Siam River Thai at The Misty Moon. Ordered the food over the phone and they called us after about 35 minutes to say it was ready for collection. Unfortunately, no delivery is available from this restaurant.We ordered 2 x shared platters for starter, Jungle Curry, Red Curry, 2 different Stir fry's, noodles and rice. The food was plentiful and lovely, especially the Red Curry.Bill was £83 and they accept credit cards.Lovely staff.

great food, really fresh. didn't know what to expect when we walked into the pub. however we were pleasantly surprised. the waitress and waiter were lovely very helpful and couldn't be more accommodating. The food is fresh, really good options for vegetarians too and the portions were substantial. I would highly recommend this place. I shall be going back with a larger group of friends from work. Give it a try! they also do takeaway.

The restaurant seems to be a seperate business based in the pub "The Misty Moon" in Northwood. There is a varied menu of Thai Food and some English dishes available. Very nice friendly staff who cook food fresh according to your tastes. We were a party of seven and individual requests for food to come without certain ingredients or less spicy/more spicy were taken. It was all freshly cooked and came out pipping hot and was well presented. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the chicken massaman (potatoes, veg, chicken in a coconut and peanut sauce) which was really good, but so filling and big a portion that I could only eat half of it and without asking I was presented with the remainder in a container (it filled the container) for me to take home. Lovely food and staff.The pub itself was decorated well for Halloween and the bar service was quick and friendly.

New dentist (who is excellent btw) due to toothache, so needed some relax time after appointment. Remembered Misty Moon as a Weatherspoon's from ages ago so we went along after appointment. Still a "traditional pub" but as well as traditional pub food they also have a Thai menu. We went for the Thai food & it is lovely! Girls who served also very sweet, you ring a bell and someone comes out from the kitchen and takes your order - no mention of how to pay etc., so I just re-rang the bell when we'd had our food & a lady came out with an order pad! Would recommend Tom Kha soup and Red Thai Curry (that's what I had and very nice too!). Very enjoyable ;o)

My friends and I rather liked the food but gave up eating there ages ago. Each visit was a mystery tour – would you get the dish you ordered or if not, what would you end up with, if anything? Will your food appear within about 20 minutes or will it take an hour and a half, after which they may admit that they forgot to cook the order (on one occasion because ‘our cook only started today’). Every restaurant has an occasional ‘off day’ but at this place a rare ‘off day’ is one on which you and your fellow diners all get the starters and main courses they ordered at about the same time and in less than an hour. The surly woman who originally served the food often brought the wrong dish and when you told her she just pouted. At least the young man who was running the place was really friendly and laid-back; so much so that when you complained, he just looked amused and smiled. On one occasion, after my food had not appeared after about 45 minutes and my friend had finished his, I told the manager that we were both in a hurry and he asked me whether I would like to have my meal as a takeaway! If you can cope with this uncertainty (will you get what you ordered, or anything at all) and you have the patience of a saint, and if you have nothing else pressing to do for the next three hours or so, then I would highly recommend this place as the food is really good – but I suggest you take The Times to read and you may well have completed the cryptic crossword by the time a main course materialises.I cannot understand why this place is such a joke, After all, it's not a massive banqueting hall with 100 tables - there are seldom more than half a dozen tables being served at lunchtime.Oh, and don't bother to complain to the manager of the pub that houses this outfit - when we did, she said it was nothing to do with her; most unfriendly.Pity - the food is good.

I've been here a few times now and never disappointed. Fresh food from great chefs and served with a smile. Popular venue, so get along early. I was with someone who didn't like Thai food, so it was nice to see that the menu caters for English food too.

Another great meal in the Misty. The food is just awesome. Never had as good a Thai anywhere than this place! Friendly and great value for money too.

The restaurant is within Misty Moon pub in Northwood High Street. A bit surprising to see but it works well. The food is probably the best Thai food in this area bar none and I have been to them all. furthermore I would say, as far as the food is concerned it would give some central London establishments a run for their money. The service was excellent and the food itself was delicious. We had various starter and main dishes and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the food which was well presented in good sized portions, all at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend the chicken lettuce wraps and jungle curry. Great food and great service. Will go back again.
