Shun Lung in Waltham Forest

The sweet and sour chicken was very hard and nit enough sauce, the plain boiled rice was very undercooked and was difficult to eat, overall not happy.

I've ordered from here for years, I'm now in Chingford and I still order from here. I have my staples and occasionally I'll vary and it's always wicked. Best ribs ever

worst food I have had off justeat chicken fried rice was greasy and the sauce was disgusting food wasn't edible at all, Chicken balls were tiny will definitely not be ordering from here again.

Food arrived Luke warm. Felt like the rice hard old and new rice mixed together as there were hard kernels mashed together where they may have run out of rice and tried to rush the order. The containers were not completely full like they normally are. Prawn balls were hard on the outside and the inner dough was undercooked as it was so thick which made it hard to even find the prawn inside. Prawn crackers tasted funny like they were fried in stale oil.

The Chicken Foo Yung was bland, lacking flavour, food was cooked great though, wondering if there is an option to make changes to my order next time

Such tasty food, wish we'd ordered more. It arrived a little early which was was appreciated as we were hungry. The delivery charge is very cheap , the person delivering it was cheerful and friendly. Easily the best Chinese food we've had for some time.

the rice was not cooked properly as it was still quite hard and you could taste the starch in the rice like it was not washed properly

My meal was delicious. The duck was tender and nicely cooked. I would recommend this retaurant It was great.

Sweet and sour sauce was disgusting

I couldn't even eat the chow mein as it lacked flavour - no seasoning, nothing. I even put salt, but it didn't help. The food was too bland for my liking. My first and last time ordering here. The only positive is that I asked for my chow mein not to be greasy and it wasn't, and the delivery lady was friendly.

Shun lung has always provided a great and friendly service and food quality for the past year since I have moved to Walthamstow’s area. Recently me and my friends have noticed how the food is tasting even better which shows how this family business is dedicated to their practice and care about providing the best to their costumers. Very happy!

I tried 3 of the balls and all of them just tasted like dough and when I looked there was nothing inside. No chicken and no prawns

Meat pancake roll tasted funny, chicken satay very very dry, pork balls chewy. Rest was average.

I’ve been getting deliveries from Shun Lung for 10 years, they never disappoint. The review itself is that I was worried when we moved house that I’d be out of the area they’d deliver to. Thankfully for everyone I wasn’t. I’ll be coming here until I die (or move again)

Really disappointed with this experience and will not be using Just Eat again I had a couple of mouthfuls of this meal and it tasted plastic / rotten and was basically inedible so ended up I the bin I contacted the restaurant and said to contact just eat to arrange a refund Just Eats official response was that it was a particular stile of cooking This was not my first Chinese meal so I’d go as far as saying that this tone of response was insulting and entirely unacceptable.

Food came extremely late! Rice was cold and tasted stale. Ribs was over cooked! Beef in black bean sauce was watery with mostly green peppers and onions, hardly any meat. Wont be ordering from this restaurant again!! Avoid!

I get burst when the order is late and tell me I got my order in this justeatapp. Anyway, my apology coz I'm really hungry and the food here is still the best and excellent cook.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I cannot say I was impressed at all :( Chicken balls didn’t taste fresh, batter was tough and very small pieces of dry chicken inside them. The FooYung was just bean sprouts. It had a burnt taste and there was virtually no egg in it. The Singapore fried rice had very few pieces of protein in it. The green curry was the only thing that was ok, but where was the coconut milk? There was none in it…. Sorry I tried, but coupled with the late delivery and below standard food, I certainly won’t be ordering again from there.

Thai curry was not very good, prawns were in soggy batter. Wasn't spicy and didn't have much coconut milk, was not as expected. I think their chinese food is likely better but it would be unlikely I would return

The food was awful. We had to throw it away as the chicken meat in all three meals was having a really bad taste and it was tough. Not sure how they can sell such food.

All food very good ---except green mixed veg curry was MUCH too hot! and we didnt have restuaarant service but i couldnt submit this without rating it - weird

Not as good as usual. Kung- po was not kung-fu po, just large chicken bits in a gravy. Chicken curry was nowhere near as what it should be, crispy chilli beef was just not edible & beef in black bean sauce really needed some beef instead of onions & peppers. Only ribs were tasty. Very disappointed

Best rice noodles in Walthamstow. So nice to have a choice more than just spicy Singapore noodles if you need to have rice not egg.

Asked few requirements like no veg totally missed it saying it wasn’t on the receipt. All other food I’ve ordered with requirements have always seen it and adhered to it. Food was poor like reheated a few times. Worst Chinese so far. I Never leave bad reviews but had to with this complete waste of £38 and was looking forward as a treat. Really disappointing

the tom yum soup is always made so lovely, as well as the noodles too. No matter who delivers, the service ive recieved from them is always impeccable. My go to in walthamstow for a cheeky takeaway!

Food hasn't arrived waiting a hour and still waiting

Really average old school Chinese takeaway. The soup was gloopy, the sweet n sour was watery and the black bean was tasty but the consistency was weird. Like Chinese food from the 1980s.

Food is lovely from Shun, never disappoints although usually they give free prawn crackers and didn’t get them this time. I’d have ordered them if I’d know they wouldn’t come with the meal as normal and our house likes them as part of a treat meal.

Awful Chinese takeaway. Satay chicken was hard and chewy, chow mein was overcooked and burnt, rice was good but the chicken balls again hard, overcooked and tasteless. Delivery driver was lovely but will not be ordering from here again, waste of money and very disappointed. We usually order from Fu Lam and the food their is always fresh but this was awful

Poor quality food. Beef was chewy, as was the prawn toast. The duck was very dry and the plum sauce was very watery. Very disappointing.

Food was decent overall. Sweet and sour chicken packed too tight. Sauce felt condensed and lumpy also portion could be better and should be in a longer container instead of being packed tight in a small container.

Sweet&sour chicken was not good, few chicken balls,with a big chuck of pineapple, very thick source I had to put some water in it because it was sooo thick and not even enough for the rice. They give a small container for sweet and sour chicken only, rice not included for £6.30. That's the first I've seen this. I thought they would give a normal size container for the price because they are not including the rice but no, it was a small container with few chicken ball and big chuck of pineapple with very thick source. I also bought king prawn rice, it was salty I had to add my own white boiled rice to come the salt down.

Have ordered food from here before but I struggled to find the prawns in the prawn balls, all dough. The special fried rice lacked the ingredient, prawns, meats which you expect to find, it was also very salty, and the special chow mein also lacked ingredients. Prices have gone up quality of food has gone down

I used to order regular from this place till I moved, still in the area. I was pleased to find out that they deliver to my new address so I placed an order and as always, I was very happy with the food. Delicious and very good price for the portions. Keep up the good work. Will order again.

The food was tasteless and wasn’t hot. Considering the price they charge for their food, you’d think it would be better but it was horrible. Definitely won’t be ordering from there again.

Chow mein was very bland and prawns were weirdly textured. Prawn balls were overcooked and the batter wasn't very nice. Prawn crackers also a bit weird. I wouldn't come back here.

This is one of the worst Chinese I've had in my life the spare ribs you couldn't even get the meat off the bone it was that stuff the chow mein was tasteless I have thrown the lot in the bin couldn't even eat it how they can sell food like this is beyond me

The was over saturated in oil the only edible thing was the soup which was supposed to be Prawn & there was only 1 in it will not be ordering from them & maybe just eat again

Restaurant owner she was very rude, shouting and lying. Order was incomplete so we refused to accept it. Instead of refund she marked order as delivered. Driver was’t helpfully too instead of trying to solve the issue he started to complain that he can’t wait here and wanted to escape asap.

The special noodles were ok, but the Singapore rice I was very disappointed in as they were not spicy and flavoursome as they should be, they tasted like someone had just thrown a load of chilli powder in. Which just made them hot but not remotely tasty. Wouldn’t bother again. Ribs - not the best as salt & pepper ribs are not usually just a pepped up version of the sweet ones. Disappointing. The positive is that everything was delivered in good time and still hot.

Lovely food, but only complaint was duck. It wasn't shredded & couldn't be eaten as we wanted due it not being shredded.
