Shrub Grub in Cardiff

No idea what the food's like as UberEats never managed to collect/deliver it. For all I know, this could be the finest veggie restaurant in Cardiff, but at least one link in the chain is broken so I'll never find out. If the manager of the Shrub Grub reads this, I strongly suggest you reconsider your association with Uber as it seems to be run by clowns, and I can confirm that the "humans" on the support chat are actually AI. Took me four conversations to finally get the order cancelled. Total joke.

I had a takeaway from here. This was the second time as the first time I had a takeaway from there it was amazing. This time it was a massive disappointment. The burger was cold on arrival and I had to reheat it in the microwave and the cauliflower bites were over cooked, burnt and inedible. So very disappointed.

First time I’ve ever order from here and the food was amazing. Best vegan food I’ve ever eaten. I even shared and no one could tell that it was vegan.

I always try to order from Shrub Grub when I can, and whenever I do there’s always something new on the menu which I absolutely love! Honestly, so spoilt for choice with all the vegan options that hit the spot if you’re craving some comfort food. Highly recommend the wraps (Doner or BBQ are my faves) and don’t get me started on the dessert selection😍 Thank you for existing Shrub Grub

Not worth trying, sweet potato chips burnt, mac and cheese tasteless, waffle cold and tasteless

Terrible service - Missed the aioli garlic sauce with the gnochi and refused to run one over to us even though they are only 5 mins away. I know it's just a dip but it's an essential part of the meal so now I just have dry gnocchi. Very unhelpful over the phone, won't be using again.

Fantastic to see another vegan food place, and the quality was very good - I enjoyed the Mac and Cheeze

I've ordered from here 3 times. The burgers are quite nice, though the "chicken" one was a bit tough. The seasoned fries are great. However, the main reason for choosing this place is the cheesecake. Wow... for the price, considering it's through Deliveroo, the portion size is amazing! Absolutely delicious.
