We had a meal at La Mer Rouge a couple of days ago and we really could not rate it highly enough. There isn't enough stars to give it. From arrival to departure the whole experience was amazing. The ambience, the very knowledgeable front of house, the food. We had 6 oysters to start, then the mixed tagine. I had roasted figs with caramel, hazelnuts and yoghurt. My husband had the brownie. Chef brought the brownie out and said you will never eat a better one. He was right. We liked how everything was freshly prepared, and freshly cooked on the premises for your meal. Good portions, good value for money. We both said it was probably the best meal we have ever had. Adrienne and Peter

I live right in the sticks with no shops and I'm disabled so it's hard when I run out of things but I found these yesterday and they have been amazing I got a food takeaway and then I had a shop delivery it was cheap and they were so quick with delivery the drivers are very polite and they are very quick with replying to any questions and the app is great to track your orders definitely would recommend them

Great service. Restaurant forgot drinks and Shrewsbury Eats sent a driver straight back there to redeliver despite us being about 6 miles out of town. Very helpful, courteous and prompt

Always use shrewsbury eats , the service is always good and on the rare occasion something isn't as it should be due to the business dealing with the order , they are happy to deal with it.

Food took almost 2 hours and then when it arrived they gave me the wrong order! (Which was cold) Almost an hour later they delivered the right food which was cold and some of my order was missing! Blaming the restaurant when the first time was their deliveries fault. When speaking to them on the phone they laughed! Extremely rude. When talking in online chat they put sarcastic smiley faces too. Rang the restaurant who said they are happy to offer full refund but Shrewsbury says are claiming they haven’t heard from them. This is the second time we’ve had an issue with them as the last time we order our food came cold too

Order never turned up at being over an hour late, told it was confirmed with driver it was definitely delivered to our address several times until we told them we have a front door camera,Proceeded to back track and say it was delivered to wrong address, worst food delivery service out there!!

Joke of a company, delivery driver never arrived with food. Told we were lying several times by customer service until we pointed we had camera evidence no one had turned up. Then we were told driver went to wrong address. Now got to wait a week for a refund. Food in the first place was already nearly 2 hours late!

Customer support isn't great. Got in touch with live chat today (3/6/2023), because I was missing an item from my order. While I appreciate this was likely the restaurant's fault, the support rep on live chat was very poor at communicating. They said they were contacting the restaurant, and I was then left waiting for 30+ minutes with no status updates, before they finally let me know that my missing food is on the way. Ultimately, they got the issue sorted, for which I am thankful, but having a support rep go quiet for half an hour on a live chat and leaving me wondering if anything is even happening? Not great.

I like that you can get through to them easily. I had an order delivered late and was cold. Think that was the fault of the restaurant. Shrewsbury Eats did chase it up for me.

One of the kids packs was missing from my subway order, they usually offer a refund but Kelsey from Shrewsbury eats on the evening shift 13/04/21 really did go above and beyond to keep my autistic child happy and instead of the usual refund, she arranged for fresh food to be delivered straight away. Too many people make complaints not enough gratitude these days. Thankyou Kelsey!

We have been visiting Odfellows for over 8 years now and have never been disappointed! We reserved a table for 21st August for my Father in Laws birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Danielle and her colleague who were - as always - great! We had 2 x Lamb roast dinners and Fish and Chips for our mains, along with some tasty starters and deserts! As always the food and service was 10/10, we can not fault a single visit to Odfellows! As a local, I always recommend to everyone that we meet, and hopefully they will also attract some new custom from further afield!

What an amazing place with great food, views, staff and atmosphere, and of course we cant forget the delicious wine! Would recommend everyone pays a visit and enjoys the fantastic hospitality this team has created. Special thank you to Laura and the manager (apologies as did not get your name) for looking after us so well.
