Went for Sunday lunch. Very reasonably priced. Delicious well cooked vegetables with good quality lamb. Plenty of yummy gravy, roasties and Yorkshire. Lovely waitress and delicious homemade puddings. Thoroughly recommend.

We decided to give this place a go on 'black Friday' for a pre-Xmas drink, and so glad that we did. Reasonable prices, brilliant atmosphere, and all the staff were great, including the door staff. Clientele were friendly and welcoming. Honestly one of the best nights out we've had. We'll definitely be back.

Waited over an hour for food and eventually when it came it was overcooked. Chips were well done as was the fish. First and last time

Absolutely flawless The ship is a local pub, been here for drinks many times and it’s always been a cracking atmosphere. My second time coming here for a meal as I heard they have a new chef. Now my last meal here was pretty good in all fairness but todays meal was something else! Honest to god it was extremely tasty! I came here on a hangover so eating a meal in general is hard work but I devoured most of my meal. I had the chicken with prop corn sauce and jacket potatoe and salad, couldn’t fault it! My mate ordered a fish finger sandwich but because they had no bread left, the chef put it in a baguette, now these fish fingers were freshly made, fish dipped in batter and fried, on abed of freshly made tartare sauce, and served with chips, the chef went over his means to make up for not having bread. My friend who’s a fussy eater seriously enjoyed every bite of his meal and appreciated the chefs efforts. Shout out to the bar man aswell. Fantastic experience and I will be popping through again, cheers to Marc and the staff there, thank you

When walking into the pub you get a feel of a traditional pub, a great welcome and service from the bar staff. We ordered food, my first choice was the sea food platter, this was not available, then I decided on the halloumi fries, this was not available then I ordered the vegan mushroom and spinach lasagna. I was then told that the chef hadn’t prepared it and couldn’t guarantee it was vegan - a very strange statement. I said thus wouldn’t be an issue as I’m not actually vegan. The lasagna arrived looking just as you’d expect. However, it turned out to be a plate of grilled cheddar with spinach, a few slices of mushrooms and one small 4”x4” sheet of pasta. It was not what I expected and it gave me awful indigestion. To be fair the two people with me enjoyed their food and were happy with what they were given - gammon and ham and eggs. I would eat here again but I would not go vegan.

Entered the pub to an extremely rude barmaid who was anything but welcoming. First words out of her mouth was move away from my door so people can come in.... they were the rest of our group. Was basically told it was too busy for us to go into the back room as a party was going. Yet apparently it was not a private party but there would be no room for us. We left as her attitude was disgusting

A friend and I came for a spot of lunch 2 for £12, what more can you ask for?!I had the corned beef pie which came with Home made chips, peas and gravy which was out of this world and my friend had the ham,egg and chips which she thoroughly enjoyed, The place had a very homely vibe to it, the staff were very attentive! Beth was a delight serving us and promptly cleared our plates so we weren't sat there amongst the plated and gravy boats, The chef Andrea is amazing, everything was perfect. and everything tasted home made, just what you expect from a little local pub. Will definitely be returning for their up and coming famous Sunday roast!

Must say we had a lovely Sunday lunch almost like mamma used to make!I had the beef that melted in the mouth and my husband had turkey that was also delicious. There was a choice of new potatoes or mashed potato (both were lovely ). The plate came with roast potato, roast parsnip and Yorkshire pudding with stuffing. Other vegetables came in tureen with your own boat of gravy. All food was also hot with a warm plate. All in all booked to go back next week.

Although very busy our meals (12 of us) came very quickly. They were all really delicious and apart from 3 children we all had roasts. Didn't need a knife to cut the meat it was so tender. Staff very attentive and brought extras where requested. The desserts were also delicious and enjoyed by all.

My partner and his family visited in November. We were made to feel very welcome. Great ales on tap. We were lucky enough for them to let us eat a takeaway in there as the restaurant we planned to go to had double booked which was very kind of them. We had a great night and was so privileged to hear Hermione the bar manager sing in a cappella an Irish folk tune. Wow we couldn't hear a pin drop when she sang. It literally took my breath away. Definitely recommend this place and we will definitely revisit .

Skinny Caramel latte and fruit porridge. I have never seen a breakfast look so amazing but this also tasted amazing too. I can highly recommend this little coffee house a visit not only for the beautiful food and beverage but for people watching too. Best place I've been too.

I have waited several weeks before writing this. I rarely post negative reviews, particularly not for small independent venues. But the price of 2 pieces of cheese on toast costing £10.95 is still irritating me. I didn’t look at the bill until sitting back down and my bank account flashed up the amount. I went back to the counter and asked if this was correct. Then to add insult to injury, we had nearly finished our coffees and my wife went to the counter to check where the cheese on toast was. No apology from the staff, and they said it was waiting in the kitchen as they couldn’t remember what table ordered it. You would expect sour dough bread or some, artisan crafted speciality bread and a fine local Welsh mature cheddar for this price. What we received was bog standard supermarket sliced brown bread and a meagre layer of bog standard supermarket cheese, that barely covered the cardboard toast. It was now barely tepid and ranks as the worst and most expensive cheese on toast we have ever had. Our cake was good but I overpriced, and the coffee was OK, but no where near as good as numerous other coffee shops in Swansea. Positives are: venue is nice and clean, staff friendly but somewhat dopey. It’s a shame they demolished my old school Ty-Coch. I am sure the catering ladies would have done a better job

Love the cakes, though, 4 months after moving shop they have yet to update online sources with their new telephone number.
