The chicken was disgusting and off the fries they bought were like Aldi‘s fries. found a hair in the roit and the service was disgusting never go back again not what the money

Went with family for the 1st time and we all have enjoyed the food immensely. The service was good too. Will definitely come back again. Thank you for the great hospitality!

After for the dinner yesterday, service was good but had to change the seating area because of the foul smelll from the toilet area, but the food was awful the charsi karahi was yuck! It wasnt even made fresh and wasnt piping hot from the tomatoes I could see this wasnt made fresh, I could have a done a better job than that, didnt had my hopes high when I was walking in and I was right! First and the last visit.

We ordered Tawah 4 and this was one of the amazing food I had. Portion size was enough for 5 people. Addionally, staff were really nice.

Very very lazy and unorganised. Once I had kabab when I reach home there was no naan inside. And few times it happened that they said we open at 1pm and they do not ready to serve at 1. They take orders and keep us waiting until 2 to 3pm and said we are preparing food. Kabuli pulao is very dry and old rice. Very unprofessional and lazy . 👎👎👎👎👎❌️❌️❌️ . U replied to my coment here. Do not ever go here for lunch they say they open at 1pm but they are never ready to serve atleast 4 times now i order online and they say will be ready in 20 mins then take an hour today they said 20 mins called me said 30 more mins i waited outside the store went inside they said the keema is not ready yet it will take 30 more mins, absolutely do not believe them when it comes to how long ur order will take they will 100% waste ur time this isnt the first time its happened to me and today i even had to cancel my order and ended up wasting an hour of my time.

The lamb charsi was chewy and lacked flavour however the chapli kebabs were very soft and full of flavour.

We visited Shinwari on Leeds Road, Bradford in the second week of February 2025, along with my brother and both our families and we were honestly very impressed! First of all, the location is nice and clear, and we were pleased to find free parking spaces easily available on the side streets, which made the visit even more convenient. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and authentic flavours. We ordered a variety of dishes including Lamb Chops, Kebabs, Kabli Pilau Rice, Cheese Burger Meals, Chapli Kebab Meal, Chicken Charsi Karahi, and Namak Mandi Lamb Karahi. There was a small mix-up in the order where we were accidentally given two lamb karahis instead of one lamb and one chicken, but to be honest, the taste was so good that we didn’t even mind! The lamb was tender, full of flavour, and the karahi had that traditional Shinwari touch you’d expect. The chapli kebabs were juicy and perfectly spiced, and the cheese burgers were a hit with the kids. Everything was served fresh and hot, with a nice desi presentation. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Shinwari to anyone craving authentic, flavourful Pukhtoon cuisine at a good price. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

At first they got the order wrong and then they replaced it with a smaller portion and it tasted very bad. Never going back

Waitress was rude and didn’t accommodate for our food, we asked to replace a nan which was in a meal with fish masala, with a rice and was willing to pay extra but she replied with a stern and rude ‘NO’. She looked fed up and almost like didn’t want to be there. When the food came it was below mediocre and not worth the price. Will not recommend or come back again

food quality has gone down. we been sick after had food. golden fish used to be such a lovely dish but now they see fried it without any spices. it ws horrible. we were so regular customers there but sorry to say we won’t come back again.

One of the worst experience in terms of food quality and taste. I once complained about the chana which I took to my home, upon complaint they simply said OK, and convinced me to dine in next time. We went there to dine in for dinner, tried charsi karahi and seakh kabab both were tasteless and the kabab was really hard. Recommend to take action against complaint and improve quality please.

I visited this place first time but definitely come back soon.Food was flavorful, tasty and delicious. Highly recommended must try. Their lamb tikka was so delicious, juicy ,properly cooked and marinated. Chappal was best in the town and kabuli lamb shank was mouth watering and delicious. Lastly the charsi karahi was best and green tea too.👍👍👍

Kharahi is best rest of the food is good to buy I had Nihari today which was just ok

Not a shadow of the place that it used to be a couple of years ago. After the renovation and decor change, they have stopped serving breakfast, the quality of the food has reduced and the prices have increased significantly, they have even started charging for their signature green tea. The Kabuli pilau used to be a very generous portion, but now is barely enough for one with a smaller lamb shank stewed separately to the rice. The quality of fish has also gone down, no longer the chunky pieces they used to serve but paper thin and dry. I was very disappointed the last time I went for a family meal as the place did not have the same vibe and was half empty when it is usually full to capacity. Customers will notice when owners take shortcuts and are more interested in profitability rather than serving regular long-standing customers with quality food. I don’t think I will return any time soon.

Food great Prices slightly high for portions

This place is ideal for anyone who wants to try authentic Shinwari Cuisine at reasonable prices. Charsi Lamb Karahi, Fried Fish and Malai boti are the best in town in my opinion. The portion sizes are also generous.

It was my 2nd time visiting here. The price was more then our expectations and apart from that the attitude of the guy who runs the busines and dealing customers at payment point is just non professional. We were standing to pay our bill after finishing our food and he was busy doing somat else and he kept ignoring us and when he finished what ever he was doing then he took the bill money and he didn't even say anything else either why he kept us waiting etc and didn't even say sorry.

I’m not rating service and atmosphere because we had it delivered to our hotel at a recent stay in Bradford. The namak mandi Karahi was like being in namak mandi - derra muzzaydaar! The naan exactly like the fantastic naan in Peshawar. The Chappli kebab were excellent and the salad was fresh and the chutney was killer. The Qabuli puloh - really beautiful aged basmati and was flavourful but it didn’t have enough masala (raisans and carrots - the carrots were grated which is a no, no and it should have been black meva - I’m being critical but still tasty) the lamb shank literally fell off the bone. One tip if you order family naan you’ll get a few - we doubled up but they were amazing and vanished. The delivery guy was super polite. If you come to Bradford then do order or go because it’s a gem of a place and it’s authentic Pakhtoon food - Qabuli is something I’d not order again because I can literally make it better! The karahi was the best I’ve had in the UK and it wasn’t a balti gosht masquerading as a “karahi”

Very nice food. Had the rice with a chicken kahrahi alongside, as well a chapal kebab, which was amazing sprinkled with some lemon wow. Would recommend and would definitely come back again. Staff are friendly and are there for anything you need attending to. Thank you to the lovely staff for being nice and helpful.

First time visit. I found the place to be clean, warm, and welcoming. The service was good and the food was tasty.

I ordered the tawa for two, which included a choice of either chicken or lamb curry, chapli kebab, fish, chicken wings, lamb chops, seekh kebabs and chips—all for £30. The portions were generous, and each item was flavorful, especially the lamb chops, which were perfectly spiced and tender. Service was attentive and friendly, and they accept both card and cash, which is convenient. The only drawback was that they don’t offer tap water, which would have been a nice option. Overall, a satisfying meal and great value for the price.

The chapli kebab is nice food wise but everything else we ordered as just not nice. The kabuli Pilao was bland and meat was fatty not well cooked at all. Way too much whole cumin. The food wasn’t worth us travelling for one hour. & Be prepared for greasy seats very unhygienic setting and filthy toilets with no baby changing facilities. Quite disappointing.

Visited this place recently with my brother and nephews. Ordered the tawa for 3 ppl and a jug of mango lassi. Plenty of food for the price and service was great. The highlight was the fried fish and chapal kebabs, both were amazing! The seekh kebabs, chicken tikka & chicken curry were ok but lacked flavour punch, will try the lamb next time. Overall very nice food and will be back again!

I love the food here anytime I go. It's actually amazing. I want to cry of happiness. First time I went, I got the kebab and chicken karahi. Omg it's so good. Then. Good breakfast today served by staff service was fairly quick..omelette was spicy ..parantha was just right (bit dry) tea is superb shame abit small servings. Cheap priced £1.50 for tea unbeatable value will be back to eat lots more

Nice Pakistani peshawari food. Already good welcome and one of the best places for people from the North of Pakistan. The food tastes amazing. Portions are big too, and with everything on the increase, their prices too have jumped up. But the taste is of Pakhtonkhwa.

We came from Newcastle to Bradford and had our dinner her.such a tasty food and very friendly staff. Specially Chicken Malai boti? Seekh kebab with green sauce and Namak mandi ( best meat without fat and high quality). I would really recommend to have food there when u r in Bradford.. best Afghani food no doubt The best part is they have place to perform prey ( namaz, salah).the place is very clean. Would love to go to see them again.

Highly not recommended!!! I went last night with my 5 orher guests spent £185 which I shouldn't. I ordered half lamb but when food came it was proper cold (seems it cooked ages ago )and rice were also uncooked. I didn't complain that time as i didn't want to be embarrase myself infront of my guests. I ordered one day in advance half lamb but when food came in front of us it was cold and rice half of the rice were hard.
