Had a wonderful experience at Shinde's Pure Veg! The food quality was excellent-fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I especially enjoyed the Paneer Paratha (Jain), which was delicious and thoughtfully made as per Jain preferences. A special shoutout to Mr. Govind for his exceptional service. He was courteous, always smiling, and made the dining experience even better with his warm and professional interaction. Overall, superb service and great food.

I recently had a very enjoyable meal at your lovely restaurant near Upton Park station. The food was absolutely delicious and served in a timely manner, which I greatly appreciated. Please extend my congratulations to your talented kitchen staff! While I was impressed with the quality of the food and the overall ambiance of your establishment, I did notice a few areas that, with some attention, could further enhance the customer experience. During my visit, I observed that the waiting staff's uniforms appeared to be unclean. Maintaining clean and presentable uniforms is crucial for creating a positive impression. Additionally, I noted some minor cosmetic issues that could be addressed. On the left wall, the texture from previous paintwork is still quite visible and could benefit from another coat. Similarly, on the lower right side, there is a crack in the wall near the tree decoration. I have attached photographs that illustrate these points. The bathroom has a stylish design; however, ensuring it is consistently clean, thoroughly disinfected, and includes a freshener would be a valuable improvement. Lastly, the bar area, being directly visible to customers, would benefit from a fresh coat of paint and should be kept impeccably clean. Overall, your restaurant has a wonderful vibe and a nicely designed interior. Addressing these finishing touches would undoubtedly elevate the overall impression you make on your guests. The reason for my one-star rating for service on this occasion is solely due to the issue with the cleanliness of the waiting staff uniforms. I genuinely look forward to returning in the near future and hope to see these points addressed so that I can provide a more comprehensive review of your service. I have tried this place 3 times. Dosa, Pav bhaji, and something else I dont remember now. Food is terrible. Didn't go back. Staff is very courteous. The atmosphere is good but it's not a park. We go here for food too. Just Atmosphere doesn't work.

Good choice of food. I found food low on taste low on salt for my likings. Their Pizza is absolutely tasty, I give a 5 star to it and their Pistachio Milk dessert was absolutely lovely very tasty highly recommend it.

Indian Restaurant, But Not for Indian People Not Recommended for Those Familiar with Authentic Indian Cuisine I ordered a masala dosa, which took 23 minutes to prepare, yet the taste was disappointing—especially considering that most of the ingredients seemed to be readymade. I also ordered a chai, but it never arrived. Overall, I would only recommend visiting if you’re trying Indian food for the first time and don’t have expectations for authenticity.

I order Pav bhaji the price is 5 pounds however they charge me 7 pounds doesn’t make sense. Won’t be coming back for breakfast. It took them 40 min to prepare it such a waste of time.

My brother and I had lunch here yesterday. The food is top notch (but the portions could be slightly bigger). They were busy but the service was very good and the staff very friendly. We will definitely return.

Had such a great experience at Shinde's Pure Veg on Green Street! The food was honestly delicious – super fresh, full of flavour, and just really comforting. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The vibe of the place is really nice too – cozy, welcoming, and just a good spot to sit back and enjoy a meal. What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone was lovely, but a special thank you to "Ashwin", who genuinely made our visit extra special. He was so kind, attentive, and made us feel really looked after. Highly recommend if you're after amazing veg food with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a very disappointing experience at Shindes Pure Veg Restaurant on Green Street, Forest Gate. When I arrived, I saw a sign outside stating that all chaats were 50% off, which encouraged me to go inside. I ordered five samosa chaats, expecting the discount to be applied. However, when it came to payment, they charged me the full price of £4.50 per chaat, totaling £22.50. After getting home and checking the receipt, I realized they had overcharged me by £2.45. When I questioned them about the discount, the staff misleadingly claimed it only applied to dine-in orders—but they had a stall outside where people were eating, which is clearly considered takeaway. This is a classic case of false advertising to lure in customers. They mislead, overcharge, and provide conflicting information. It feels like a rip-off, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be careful and check your bill before paying!

Nice food and newly done up so looks nice inside. Food was tasty but the only issue was alot of iteams were out of stock which was a let down as alot of items we wanted were not there. Worth a try if in the area

Great service and food!! The new decor and atmosphere is clearly outstanding and modern! Lovely interior and exterior, vibrant colours and cost!! Up to date with bells in each table that allow customers to call waiter and call to pay, absolutely fantastic!! The food is delicious and I highly recommend trying Masala Chips and Kaju Korma!! The display of the food is equally good. Hygiene is amazing here, super clean and wonderful, warm staff!! :) Thank you for your hospitality !!

Food was good, vibe was good and staff were so lovely and quick to help with a smile on their face. Ashwin was especially helpful and jumped to ensure we get our food after one or two items were forgotten initially but came to check on us at least two or three times once we’d gotten our food. Thank you Shinde’s we will be back.

The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The restaurant is also managed exceptionally well. The manager is not only highly skilled in running the place smoothly but also very beautiful, adding to the welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

A very nice experience here. Food was tasty and the service very efficient. They have a sophisticated feature where you can press the buzzer at your table and the waiting staff will attend to you. I haven't seen this before and it is very useful to have.

I made an order for myself and my mum who were not well we decided on a Meal each from this restaurant! When the delivery came and we opened it we found that the main component of our meals were not in the bag! This is the second time this restaurant has done this to me I gave them a chance and now they've done it again they have refused to send the rest of our meal! He told me to go back to company I bought through and ask them for a refund! I am more than sure that this man would not allow this to happen to his mother he showed her and myself no compression as it is the restaurants fault! I'm not saying the food is bad but I cannot order from them again not after making this post as my food would possibly be tampered with! I always thought the food was good but the people are not careful to make sure that the order is in the bag before they send it with the Courier! If you're going to eat their food please go there don't have my experience I ended up having to drag myself into the kitchen to make something for us both I suppose I should have done that to begin with but I don't feel well!

My friend and me really thought we found our to go place but not pretty sure now First time we went everything was lovely The second time idk why but everything wasn’t the best. All food felt like its the frozen chapatis which you get in Tesco was really disappointing. The chefs definitely don’t look professional in there coz how could you give mouldy food and when you say chapatis in the menu please give freshly made it’s something all Indian chefs can make. And how could you just give something mouldy Also chhole was the prepacked one like bought from Tesco and reheated fr I could do this food at home why would I come here Service was fine Disappointing and won’t come back

Today, on 03/02/25 around 2 PM, I had a disappointing experience at Shine’s Pure Veg, where I encountered significant delays and unhelpful customer service. Initially, a lady welcomed us warmly, and we appreciated her respectfulness in providing us with a table—specifically, table number three—and a menu before we sat down. When we asked for sweet tea, she assured us it would be no problem. However, when I inquired about the karak chai advertised for £1, she informed me that the offer had ended. A few minutes later, another group of female customers asked about the karak chai and received a different response: the same lady told them that it was only available for takeaway at £1. I then asked about the price of one piece of sweet, and she mentioned that it was packaged for £15 per kilogram. However, when we went to pay the bill, we noticed that each sweet was charged at £2.50. This didn’t make sense; if £15 is the price per kilogram, how could one piece cost £2.50? Despite asking her twice for clarification on the price, she only repeated that it was £15 per kilogram. Overall, our experience was very unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.

Nice place to have tea and eat a pastry

I wish I could give 0 stars! The momos aren’t momos but some frozen dumplings. The chat had one tablespoon yogurt (that too watered down) !! I don’t understand how these restaurants operate and make fool of customers?? Like absolutely different from the photos they have put.
