McDonald's in Newham

Staff were very polite and friendly during interactions.

Pretty much relaxed; a pretty busy Easter Saturday, but a regular Saturday lunchtime nonetheless. My table didn’t have a number, but I got no other complaints.

Lettuce and mayo were too less in the burger. The fries were stale. Water dripping everywhere from the ceiling.

I really enjoyed the food, services and atmosphere of McDonald. Appreciated

The food prices get higher, and the service and quantity of food get lower than normal. Staff are miserable and uncooperative. Ridiculous !! Terrible service 😑

If you want food to go I would say it's okay however if you're looking to eat in forget about it as you'll probably be harassed by the fake tramps asking for money. Unfortunately there always seems to be something happening at this place ie arguments. You'll experience long queues during lunch times and just after schools finish as well as it's next to a school.

Yeah couple of times I have visted there quite and piece but u have to wait bit longer than usual waiting so I think they need to quick fast so they can be delivering fast

Updated on 02 Feb 2024: the place seems to be dirtier than in the past. Toilets not cleaned in depth, rubbish everywhere, wherever you touch is greasy. Careful to pickpocketers and people trying to steal mobiles. --- Good service and food. Friendly staff. Serious problem with safety/security: be careful, a group of teenagers tried to pickpocket/to steal my friend's mobile while her and I were exiting from the store. She had her mobile in the front pocket of her jacket. Those teenagers were pretending to enter (not so slowly or in polite way) into the store and bumping into us . One of them with extra quick movements put his hand into her pocket in order to get her mobile. Fortunately I saw the scene. And at the same time my friend was moving her hands to put them inside her own pockets and touched casually the extraneous hands so immediately both of us got aware of what was happening and we stopped/blocked him. Promptly (and loudly) he said "oh what are you doing with your hands?" And he played/pretended to be the victim of the crime and also his friends were supporting him. I told them that I saw what happened and that what they declared wasn't true. As a direct consequence of what I said, they literally disappeared (they were running away towards Newham Town Hall, I mean in that direction). I reported the facts to a kind employee who said that he was sorry and that, unfortunately, he couldn't do anything... I hope that the business manager or owner will be informed about the event because the same situation happened there in the past and I saw it in first person. Same scene and crime, same really really young teenagers... only different victims. Suggestion: use cameras, put a security guard if possible. The mentioned event happened in the afternoon of 23 Oct 2019 around 6pm, at the entrance door (sorry I can't be more precise for the time). I hope that my review will be useful to someone.

Very bad👎 rudeness and no answer of order

Tried Cheese Burger and Chips for the first time from McDonald's. Honesty didn’t like the taste at all. However, service and stuff behvaiour was good and atmosphere is friendly.

Was very busy the time we went there, had a quick much before heading out. Fast service, staff are very friendly.

Ordered crispy chicken wrap. It was badly smelling they put spoiled piece of chicken inside the wrap. Bad experience in East Ham MCD

I visited McDonald’s at Eastham High Street around 12:30 PM. Initially, the service was good; I received my order within 10 minutes. However, the experience quickly turned sour when three individuals approached my table, where I was sitting with a friend. They started showing us some papers and demanded food. One of them even attempted to take my phone by concealing it under a paper. Realizing something was amiss, I called for McDonald’s staff assistance, but unfortunately, no one responded. When I confronted the individual, he began scolding me and then left the premises. This is not the first time I’ve encountered such an issue at this location. I am disappointed and concerned about the safety and well-being of customers, especially since the staff did not intervene or provide assistance during this distressing situation.

Very rude staff, even threaten my friend to call the cops just for complaining about the taste of food. Won't visit the place again.

I worked for McDonald's fir a great number of years and in my opinion things have gone down the toilet,nobody checks the delivery orders more often than NOT you don't get what you order in store they are standing around chatting and being rude to customers,that have already struggled to get in the store because of all the bikes and groups of men stod outside the store scaring people or trying to recruit young kids to do illegal jobs for them!! There is never any we're to sit upstairs is always closed for cleaning, toilets are closed it's a poor show Eastham.

Food was prepped in a rush. Was not busy. I ordered 2 identical breakfast but looked totally different to each other.

In the past I would order mcdonald’s on uber eats and every single time they would not provide a spoon for the mcflurrys and drinks but surprisingly this mcdonald’s gave a spoon for the mcflurry but i didn’t get a drink so not sure about the straw. We also got sauce without requesting it which is amazing. Thank you so much 👍. However when i order in person most of the time the receipt machine doesn’t work or there is no paper for it and i have to remember it and it’s just inconvenient

Bad experience every time . I ordered mozrela cheese share box but sadly I got inside box chicken they did not send any sauce tissue I don’t what the hell the people who working there .they get wages why they are not doing their jobs in good manner why they are in rush .I never recommended this.

11:00pm right now, on my way back home I decided to get a meal to have whole entire, guess what, my Mayo Chicken had no mayo. Big mac doesn’t have it either. And onntop of that, the guys saw I was kinda in a hurry so just packed my a not so cold chocolate milkshake. Not recommended. Prolly the worst Mc Donalds London has.

So far this is the best McDonald’s they only fogot one chips only once! after that everytime I order nothing goes missing! Compare to all other McDonald’s forestgate / Canning Town /Leytonstone/ Stratford . Always forgets something. Everytime not only once. somtime it’s the only mcd open and my son really wants it. So I rate the eastham 10/10! Will continue to order from this one :) thanks

bacon was raw, and the chips in the large packet but in a normal portion! With the Bacon is not the first time that happened

incredibly slow workers and slow service. i only ordered a cheesy flatbread, takes them over ten minutes. its only 10:20am on a sunday. they only focus on delivery orders and ignore in branch customers.

No receipt printed from machine, no delivery to table allowed, but steakhouse stack is good.

The food is nice but the Iced Coffee is too less as it says regular size and giving small size drink in the cup whereas I’m disappointed with this overall food was nice and service too.

Firstly I came her at 8:20 and only got my food by 8:50 and keep in mind I only asked for a wrap but also when I asked the girl when the order would be done she said “I don’t wanna hear anything” while covering her ears then tried to chuck ketchup at me when I asked her. I’m very disappointed and she doesn’t deserve to work here if that’s the way she works food on the floor and almost every staff is disrespectful.

Great service by the gentleman that served me. Also got freshly made chips with no salt for my little one as per request. Thank you 😊

Ordered the McSpicy but service was slow and food was cold for a late Sunday afternoon. When ordering and waiting for food the delivery drivers cause congestion around the waiting area. Went upstairs for a seat, there were seats but tables were not clean, toilets were shocking.

They should update their hygiene

McDonalds became a nasty place, Not only this one, but almost all. People don’t clean after themselves, smoking e cigarettes, people just don’t know how to behave they are lying instead of seating, eating sunflower seeds. Poor those who work at Mc, they have to deal with all this crpy people….. It’s time to change something dear McDonald’s otherwise…

The condition of the toilet was terrible. I don't know when they have cleaned the toilet. Two toilets were locked so no customer can use those. the one they left open to use, there was no tissue, the toilet seat was so dirty, the toilet was so filthy. It seems like for long nobody used that toilet and cleaned the toilet. No health and safety and cleaning rules were followed.

Nice McDonald's, Shame about the area. It's gone downhill drastically over the years. I felt so on edge being in East Ham. There was a man even going round to everybody inside asking for money. Did not feel safe with my children. Loads of people hanging about.

Payment issue. System crashed after using my card and moreover debited twice and atlast I paid by cash. Thanks to the manager who enjoyed all these by simply denying this is not his fault

I ordered my food at the kiosk, the food was prepared in 2 minutes very fast but unfortunately the they messed up my order. Asked no ice and I got ice on my drink, asked the waiter in the shop floor if he could change it and 1/4 was gone because instead of changing it they just took out the ice. They also forgot to give me the sweet chilli sauce I ordered I had to go back to get it and when I asked if I could have a sweet curry sauce the staff gave me a look like she wasn’t bothered of what I was saying while talking to the other staff in another language had to ask her several times I don’t think this is professional even if the place was clean the costumer service is really bad

La comida, está bien, pero el problema es que te sirve la comida fria o apenas caliente, tiene que mejorarlo y también tarda mucho en dar las órdenes. The food is fine, but the problem is that they serve you cold or barely hot food, they have to improve it and it also takes a long time to give the orders.

This McDonald's is rather hectic - the food is the usual McDonald's quality but the service times are frequently long (there is often lots of people stood around waiting for orders and it can easily take 10 minutes to collect just a one or two item order). The self service machines are frequently out of receipt paper. Overall staff are friendly but compared to the general McDonald's experience; everything just takes so long here.

Very nice comfortable place to have breakfast lunch and dinner. Very neat. All the foods are cooked and prepared by professionals. Workers neat and responsible and respectful. Things are done orderly, first come first serve. You will never regret going there. You can celebrate your birthday there. Small kids also have their own enjoyment area in Mcdonald. There's a big toilet there. Security Workers are also around to keep peace. There is also a driveway to buy and collect while sitting in your car. I recommend this place for holiday makers and friends tourists and families

It's ok it's a McDonald's you get what you expect. The problem I have is the amount of delivery bicycles outside who don't follow the law of the road.

I visited here with my friends at 10 pm. Half of the tables are closed for cleaning. Still the shop is crowded with customers. Food is nice as usual. Their service also fast and kind.

This restaurant in East Ham is a disgrace. The area where I was eating was covered with flies. I've posted the pictures of those that weren't flying about. They need to get their act before the local authority looks at it.

Took my son for a treat. It took 25 minutes for us to get our food. There was so much staff behind the counter but nothing was getting served. Food was stacked up waiting to be bagged up. There were so many deliveries just sitting on shelves waiting to go. People were complaining that they were waiting for ages and the staff didn't really seem to care. Sherif was a worker and he was very rude to customers and his colleagues. Adrian looked a manager and he tried his best to get food out. When we received our food the fries were stone cold and 3 apple pies were missing. Adrian replaced our fries and got our apple pies. Very disappointed with the service. Will not be going back there any time soon.

East Ham McDonald's is by far the worse one in Newham. They need to do something about the drunk men that loiter upstairs. I've been here a few times and it's a consistent problem but when I went I few weeks ago it was considerably worse. Whilst we were sat waiting for our food there was 3 men who'd clearly had too much to drink and were worse for wear acting aggressively and just wierd, going in and out the toilets every few mins, taking people's serviettes, comdiments etc off there trays. one of these men then stripped off and started changing his clothing in the middle of the restraunt at one point he was only in boxers. We ended up leaving because of this but we had sat talking whilst we ordered food via app and waiting on our food for approximately 15-20 minutes in total. Staff did nothing about these men despite them witnessing it themselves.

Its quick food for a fair price. For the level of convenience you get where you can generally grab hot fast food within minutes it's definitely worth the value even with the recent price increases. Only thing I can is the table wasn't clean and I found hairs on my table.

Decor is tired. Always looks a mess in there, but staff do clean often. Tiolets very dirty .Needs airfreshner in there too.

Chips are way too salty. Way too. And one of the drink was not even full. Although paid extra for large.

Really nice place to have a quick bite if you are on the go.. the place do have ample seating as well ! The management and staff is quite friendly and they ensures orders are fulfilled to the best of their capacity.

This place was good. They close the upstairs by 8 o clock everyday. But were kind enough to open it up for us when we requested for a giving a surprise birthday party. The employees are understanding.

Very bad service for very over priced plastic food the staff are more concerned about the just eat orders and uber eats than customers In The restaurant which means extrely long wait times waited 15 mins for my order then decided to cancel due to bad service I asked for a flatbread with sause the lady on the till gave me a flatwhite coffee.
