Overall decent fried chicken; perhaps average but it's good if bought when freshly made. Chicken burger has full breast (not sliced thin like others).

Their food is very tasty. Their peri peri sauce and other sauces are great. The location of the shop is very good between Forest gate and Wanstead Park station. There is also a seating area and a clean shop. A friend of ours works, he's great.Rah Bhai. Every time I visit their side, I will definitely visit this shop again to eat.

I AM A STUDENT FROM FGCS THE FOOD IS VERY CHEAP BIT THE QUALITY IS POOR. RAW CHICKEN COLD CHIPS COLD SAUCE.I CAME HOME AND WAS SITTING ON THE COUCH WHEN I FELT STRANGE I WENT TO THE TOILET AND VOMITTED BITS OF FOOD TURNED OUT I HAD FOOD PISONING FOR 2 WEEKS. IF YOU LIKE BEING ILL COME MAXI GRILL

Took more than 20 mins for my food to be ready. When my order was ready they just left there for another 10 mins whilst I asked them when my food is ready. When my food arrived the doner was burnt. Barely edible. Terrible experience. The store itself is really dirty too.

Food was stone cold when it finally arrived. No straw was giving for the milkshake and the ketchup I had paid for was mixed with mayo which was not in the discretion

Always great service however the wait time can be improved. Great options for grilled food, fried and pizzas. Very flavoursome too.

Yesterday night i came with my friends and ordered peri peri burger it was very delicious and mouth watering and the night staff was very friendly as well.

Tried their bbq and tandoori pizza and the taste was delicious overall but their bbq pizza was something out of this world. Very crispy, light and full of toppings. Although they can improve the service with the addition of different flavours of ketchup packets.

We ordered chicken tikka pizza and we get chicken and beef when we asked to the staff they just don’t care. In our religion we didn’t not eat beef. Poor service

Good place for chicken lovers, not a very large menu but yes a good decent menu with lots of combo offers, and even the service quality is good it is usually a busy place not thru out the day but some specific times of the day ....... So go and get some chicken and chips Maxi G🙌🏻

The guy who is working there is not good to run this business. Constantly lying and not doing his job properly. I’ve been getting takeaways from there couple of years now and since he came in, all the problems started. We drove 15 mins to come and get an order that we made and when we arrived he said he called me to notify that they don’t have any chicken left. I showed him my call logs and he was ashamed for lying.

Always ignore the requests for sauces even when you ask for it on the notes. Uber eats.

Gave smelly wings that were rotten and refused to make fresh ones despite being asked to because they wanted to “finish their batch”. Disgusting.

Tried to order mix doner kebab, saw the server dishing the meat from Oven or food warmer then microwaved it for 2mins, when I questioned him About it he tried to denied it but later acknowledge it. I asked for refund since they didn't have freshly made ones. He refused to give refund and asked me to choose something else from the menu . Back and forth he finally refunded full amount.

The best half pounder burger ever. Their pizzas are also awesome and team is so polite and friendly. They food is delicious and prices are way lower than the taste they provide. Also team is working very hard and are always smiling which encourages customers to come again and again.

I just had, the worse experience with them. I ordered online where the doners were available, I ordered two that came to £16 for both and other stuff. They didn’t have them so I switched for two burgers with chips (for less than I paid) never received the chips, called back and the manager was really inexperienced and wanted to get rid of me from the phone. He started lying to me about prices, unbelievable. The food is good but the customer service and management is under critical conditions.

Don't ever order there pizza... so tight with the toppings. I ordered a 12" double pepperoni and double cheese, I got one measley pepperoni on each slice. If you can't be bothered to do a decent pizza why are you putting it on your menu??

Not a good place at all. Service is so shocking and poor. Waited 30 mins for a chicken burger and when I asked I was told 10 more mins. Whats this? I'm paying the same amount as other customers who came after me and they are leaving with their food before me. Not going at all now. Been a customer of 2+ years but now lost it. I normally don't make reviews so this tells you something when someone loyal to the shop makes this kind of a critical review.

Decent takeaway that pretty much does everything. I always get my chicken and chips from here. Service is quick and staff are friendly.

Should have listened to the the reviews. The food used to be really nice here but not anymore. The wings are not the same and the pizza is appalling always comes with uncooked topics e.g raw onions and the pizza is cold overall.

They deserve 0 star avoid this takeaway. Completely incompetent against other takeaway they don't have delivery driver of their own to deliver at home only just eat delivery and on just eat its double the price total rubbish its better to make something at home and eat it. Total disaster place. They don't even bother about customer they are just interested in money. No proper service at all. Money wise expensive. Food wise 1 star.

Great tasting food and good value for its price

I order 15inch pizza with 4 topping chicken and onion. Chicken runaway from my pizza and only left with onions . Actually you should replace my pizza. Not good experience.

Food on this occasion wasn’t the high standard of other places I’ve tried, but it depends on your tastes. The peri chips and peri flavouring they use on the chicken was tangier than other places. The customer service here is really bad, their attitude when they talk is the same they use to regulars and new customers. In an area such as this, I guess that’s their default attitude to dealing with trouble makers!

I have ordered over the phone,initially who has taken the phone was making error of Half pounder burger price.Once I have corrceted then 15 mins later went to the shop to collect the burgers.Again front boy was making error with my initial order.I have corrected him.Then he was charging me £4 more.Basically Front boy made over 5 mistake in one single order.Once I challange him he started massively arguing with me instead of just appologies.

I ordered peri peri chicken meal,and I told them give me the hot flavour one.after I reach home I saw they put lemon and herb on my chicken. I call them and they said we don’t have hot flavour.my question is why they don’t tell me before.it’s totally cheeting.

Ordered late night, Despatched the burnt pizza on call back they were closed. Ruined the pizza night it was a bad idea to place order in night.

Good Food the quality is very good. Fast service on good eats. They can use some work on customer service. I called to tell them the food was good they kept asking me my order info and I couldn't just tell them the food was good lol. The chicken sandwich err burger is very good. Also ordered the peri salad VERY GOOD. THIS PLACE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN 5 STARS BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS SOME WORK AND THE BEEF BURGER I ORDERED WAS BURNED.

This evening I paid £5.50 for there PERI PERI chicken box.It is probably the worst food quality I have ever tried.Its not even matched 10% of the picture they’re displaying on the window. It was came up with Simple previous day cold boiled rice with 20% grilled quarter chicken.Which I wouldn’t have pay £1 and after having this a little bit my pregnant wife is feeling unwell.I am one of the local resident who pretty much go there every week ,from today I will avoid this Maxi Grill and will report this to government food standard agency under the supply of failure with Good and service act 1982.

Came to this place a few weeks ago to eat with some family. We ordered some fried and grilled items. Lets start with the wait time; the shop was empty when we ordered, but we waited for over 20 minutes - after which we were called to say our food was ready, when it wasn’t. We waited a further 10 minutes for a chicken wrap to be made. Disappointing when theres 10 staff in the back, all huddled around a phone laughing and joking. Management ha clearly failed in this place if this sort of behaviour is acceptable. Also, during our wait, some staff thought it was acceptable to eat chips from where customer food is prepared infront of customers. This is completely unacceptable. Lets go on to the food. It was ok, tasted ok, nothing special and no wow factor. Same old generic mayonnaise and under-seasoned breading on the chicken. However it seemed like the oil used was not dirty, so not the worst food I’ve tasted. The main reason for this review is the after effects of this food. All 3 of us felt uneasy after eating this meal, one of my family members woke up in the middle of the night with a pain in the chest, explaining it as being as if his heart was struggling (he is a medic so knows what he is talking about). He literally felt like he was going to die lol. I could not sleep and felt like all of my energy was drained - same with the other family member. It was the worst I’ve ever felt after eating fast food. Now I grew up in East London so I’m no stranger to dodgy takeaway’s but this was different. Not sure if it’s the supplier of chicken or the shop itself, but there was some serious chemicals / steroids or something in the food. Never returning.

Worst customer service, gave the wrong food and have the nerve to say I made the error, even tho the order was repeated several times to ensure the order is correct. Staff don't know how to speak to customers at all and to top it all the food was terrible.

Maxi Grill, decent place for fast food, originally they were located in Romford Road, which in my opinion was a poor location, after moving to Woodgrange Road they have been awesome, chicken burger wings and pizza are nice from their, can get busy even at late night.. Worth a try!!

Really slow service we ordered before other people only wings and chips and the wings came out the batch they gave our food to people who ordered after us and we had to wait twice for the second batch of fresh wings because they ran out

If you don’t want any health issues, do not order from here. I placed an order on just eat at around 10pm and my food arrived at around 11pm-12am. As I was eating away at my food, there was something black in my chips. I looked through and I saw 2 dead black flies. I almost threw up and I would hope for this shop to get shut down. There shouldn’t be flies in our food. The hygiene was absolutely poor.

So we had wings and chips which were really good. We also ordered lamb doner. Please avoid the lamb doner, it was doner which came from a packet from the freezer and then cooked afterwards. I wanted to leave when I saw this, but my brother insisted we give it ago. Big mistake. Surely this must be a health and safety hazard. This left us all feeling a little worse for wear. I don't think I would go back. I don't think they should be selling doner. Doner should always come from a spit and be roasted.

Their Pizzas are very nice and very reasonably priced. A massive 18" pizza for £11.00 not bad to be honest. A very clean shop and friendly staff. Have been eating from here for about 6 months. Would definitely recommend this place 👍🏼
