Shima's Rice N Oodles in Bolton

Good rendang and lamb curry. Fried mee and rice also very nice. Would love a full, freshly cooked restaurant.

I often visit Shima's on a Saturday with my family. She has a fantastic range of delicious Asian food which is always exciting and delicious. The food is passionately cooked and packed full of flavour - perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy home-cooking Asian style. I often visit with my partner and both of us always enjoy the trip. I recommend trying "A bit of Everything" if your indecisive, like me, it's a great way to enjoy everything on offer.

Yo sabía de shima, Nasi gorem rendang y fideos en el festival de comida bolton la semana pasada. Regresé a Bolton para ver lo que el mercado era como en circunstancias normales y no pude resistir shima de cabina. La carne rendang y limón arroz es increíble y yo pensé que sabía cómo hacer maní pero ahora sé que estaba equivocado. Excelente comida servida por mujeres preciosas sonriente.

He vivido en Singapur por más de 8 años y fuimos con mi esposa y mi hija, ambos de los cuales son de Singapur en un viaje de vuelta a casa hace un par de semanas. Mi esposa estaba anhelando un sabor de hogar y dio en el clavo. El Char Kway Teow que tuvimos fue muy bueno, incluso sin la manteca frita que es normalmente usado en Singapur (nota este lugar es halal). Buena comida 'Sudeste asiático 'es difícil de ver en Bolton, ya que ha sido modificado en sabor para satisfacer el paladar local, pero afortunadamente este lugar ha conservado su autenticidad. Ventaja para dar un montón de muestras para mi hija con hambre!

So I had planned to visit on a Saturday afternoon for lunch but arrived later than expected at 3pm. I managed to get the rest of the veg noodles and butter prawns and my Husband had goat and mutton curry. We visit Asia a lot and have tried many Malay dishes whilst on holiday in Malaysia and I have to say what a gem of a place serving authentic, fresh and tasty food. I did take some home and re heated in the oven which evaporated some of the sauce, so I think I will always eat it fresh in the market or seek further cooking tips from Shima's. Should you ever do cooking classes let me know I would be first to learn how to cook these dishes. Don't hesitate to visit and try this place!

Great food, friendly staff. Good choice of food to eat in or take out.The Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng are great and there are a choice of more well know Asian and Chinese style dishes.

Two lovely ladies who are only too happy to offer samples and a smile. The food is well seasoned with big flavour and a nice assortment for a small market stall

For a start exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. All food is authentic and samples are offered. Perfect for a traveller looking for a taste of Malaysia again.

Fresh, authentic and above all tasty food. helpful suggestions and reasonably priced. As a fan of cuisine form this part of the world I can't reocmmend it highly enough.

its as close to the real thing as you can get this side of the world .... made authentically by 2 wonderful Asian ladies... i been a chef for almost 30yrs and never found anything better...... absolute brilliant food....

Another great addition to Bolton market's lifestyle hall. Staff always v friendly, food tastes v fresh & delicious, the dishes are nice & varied. I have to keep coming to try everything!

Superb food made from fresh ingredients (can really taste the lemon grass!) and served by the two most friendliest ladies i have come across in a long time! Deserve to have great success and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended. Kay and Keith.

Tasted the food first and liked it. The server was very friendly. Watched her cook my food using raw fresh ingredients, so didn't mind waiting at all, as i wanted my food with any salt.
