Sherwood Forest Art & Craft Centre in Newark and Sherwood

Nice Craft centre with a variety of craft shops and café. There is parking but limited. Worth a visit.

We had a lovely pottery painting party with family. We really enjoyed it and such lovely, helpful people.

Drove a long way to visit, but rather disappointed, not an awful lot there, but what was available was very nice .

Love Hettie and Sid for wooden toys and personalised gifts.

Lovely place to visit even gets to visit Sherwood forest and see the major oak.

Excellent food and lovely little independent shops

Beautiful centre with gorgeous little shops and a great cafe, would definitely recommend a visit.

Passed through edwinstow today saw the craft centre# and thought we could call in for a look round and maybe have a coffee and a cake.found out that it costs £5 to park the car in a field across the road As a result drove on and parked for free at another cafe.wonder how many other people have done the same thinking why should I be paying £5 to browse in a few shops and spend money in a cafe

This is a lovely centre where lots of different craft and arts are represented. We visit here several times a year.

Love this place. Nice selection of shops, local craftspeople, artisans etc. cafe is great, good selection, staff friendly and service is good.

Lovely place however please avoid the fabric bug - the staff are hostile and highly unprofessional

Crafts of different types, I myself liked the one with wood pieces, boxes and armour ,there's several different sellers with there ware's including a cafe.

It's a nice place for a cup of tea and cream and a scone, other food items are available. If you like a few small shops it's nice.

Very nice little café. Good prices too.

Be aware - it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, apart from the crystals shop. Google timings are annoyingly wrong. On a previous visit - lovely place.

Little centre with few craft shops, coffee shops and toilet.

We love this place. A selection of quirky shops with some really nice items from gem stones, art, woodwork, metalwork and much more, plus a couple of small places to eat and drink. Definitely reccomend

Lovely place especially when you manage to get a bargain love the leather and medivil shop and the fossil shop

Nice to look around although some things were pricey it was a enjoyable visit and had a lovely Ice cream 🍨 and seemed a decent price.

Great place to visit crafts shops, Medieval crafts, the soap shop you cansee how is made it, which had a lovely selection of gifts. A bit like the body shop for selection of goods but nicer. The blacksmith had items for sale or you can order a bespoke item. Small cafe with great selection of food and drinks all reasonably priced enjoy a fresh made pastry with a really good quality Cafe and a variety of coffe beans on sale, I recommend, a nice chocolate factory and more...

Lovely little craft centre in the heart of Sherwood Forest, many individual Craft, cafe and coffee shops both inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit, parking at the back of the Craft center for visitors.

I love the fact that people spend 30 minutes in a queue at the Cafe, to then spend 20 minutes at the counter deciding what they want for lunch. Having had the menu to look at whilst queuing.

Very poor, traveld to to see it, not much there, only half a dozen shops and a cafe,no toilets, best bit was seeing the dog bakery on the way out near the junction, stopped and bought our pooch a treat.

Booked some crafts to do during the school half term. The shop owners all willing to explain about their products. Good atmosphere

This is a simply lovely community of artisans, coppersmiths, people who work wonders in all sorts of areas, great atmosphere and super friendly shops.

Just a nice place to visit steady walk to the major oak then into the craft coffee shop for coffee and cake

Lovely cafe, great choice of cake including vegan and gluten free. Beautiful craft shops selling unique items. Just adjacent to Sherwood Forest. Free parking for craft center users.

Several craft shops are there plus a number of places where you can have a a beer or coffee & cake, or light meal. Located next to the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre. Also the is a hostel there.

Really enjoyed our visit. Small individual craft shops and cafe with plenty of room outside if you have children, or dogs, that want exercise.

Always find a one of a kind novilty gift. Friendly staff.

Variety of small shops selling a whole host of different items. Some on the more expensive side .. but different. Service in cafe seems slow but worth the wait.

Lovely breakfast rolls and wraps and milkshakes, all freshly made. Super cute silversmith and really great range of gemstones and fossils, as well as lots of wool and fabric artisans.

Very nice. Just called in for a bite to eat and a coffee. Plenty of arts and crafts type businesses to investigate. Plenty of free parking around the back

Brilliant place totally recommendable

There no vegetarian options, at all, in the cafe & no milk other than dairy.

Seems nice but I can't imagine many people buy anything. Unless you want a crystal, a sword, a wooden thrown or baby clothes. The cafe was packed, so maybe that's the big attraction.

Lovely to wander around and see the craft shops and visitor centre. Bonus is a walk around the forest. Well worth a visit

Fantastic group if independant shops, a great coffee bean seller and Forest crafts selling leather, wood sculpture and thelike. Great discovery , friendly staff. Support local!

We have come here for years, love the craft centre. Cafe serves great coffee and cakes. Chocolate is gorgeous and the bathbombs are fabulous. All the people (crafters) are friendly and welcoming. We will continue to visit for years to come.

Visit if you can, I'm sure you won't be disappointed the Forest Archer shop is excellent.

Great independent shops at good prices

Some amazingly talented craftspeople here - you can often see them making stuff whilst you are there. Monday not the best day to go as not everything is open...

Pity they are not as dog friendly as Sherwood cafe opposite.

Great place to visit , has coffee shops which serves nice food , coffee etc, & a few independent quirky wee shops selling arts, crafts, paintings well worth a look, the inside of the building is also nice almost like a little square with seating area

Wonderful place to visit. Lots of little shops with amazing things in. From handmade chocolate. Gin. Mead. And whiskey to, silver jewellery crystals and fossils and woodcraft. Art and pottery and felting also a tearoom. Excellent little place

Nice gift shop there. Didn't go in the café. Quite small though been told they do craft markets

One of Edwinstowes' hidden treasures with a cafe and numerous crafty shops - personal favourite being the stone, precious stones & fossil shop! There are now more out the back if the centre, even a Medieval shop. Free parking is limited bit there's a new car park across the road (£4 in Mar 19) plus Robin Hood visitors centre on site. Just don't miss the stone shop run by a really genuinely lovely guy.

Queue as usual.staff okay.good choice scones etc.lunchtime meals getting a bit pricey.toilets could do with a tart up.

Local crafts and a cafe - it's well worth a visit

There are some wonderful things to see here. We especially loved the great variety of novel hand made things at number 14. Everything from armour, replica mediaeval pottery to real bows and arrows, green men and wonderful leatherwork

Good place to visit but you can't rely on all the units being open which is a shame. There's some unique things to buy. Nice cafe but it stops serving food (except cake) at 3pm

Nice cafe with tasty food and snacks and small craft shops including a fab fossil and gem shop. Next to Sherwood forest with Major Oak. Edwinstowe village a very short walk. Been visiting there for years.

A really nice variety of shops. Its bigger than it looks from the outside. Really nicely located but the car park is a bit tight.

Excellent shops, well made products worth the money

A great mix of lovely things on offer from jewellery to bespoke fountain pens, handmade glass to wooden and leather goods all made by the studio tenants. Small cafe provides tasty refreshments, including Illy fresh coffee. Love this place.

Nice centre with a variety of shops

What a lovely place to stop and have a bite to eat and a walk around the studios while you're at the forest. The craftspeople here are so talented and there is a variety of products to see. I loved Veetreo Glass because they have wonderful gifts.
