Dined here last night. The food and service was good and I very much enjoyed it. The prices are ridiculously expensive. The restaurant was empty and I wasn't suprised.

These guys stayed open “late” for us, when we discovered that everything seems to close in Auchterarder at 9pm on a Thursday!! Lovely meal, with a few Cobras, just what was needed. Thank you Sheray Punjab, we’ll definitely be back!

Had pizza and chips takeaway from here. Two of the best pizzas we have ever had and the chips were great too. We will definetly order here again when we fancy pizza

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed it. Will call again next time we are in aughterarder. Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian food.

My self and my curry connoisseur husband ate at this gem while on a few days break. It has to be said that i have never seen my husband so quite when eating a meal and that's telling you the quality of the dishes we ordered. FOOD..SERVICE..and ATMOSPHERE was on the money get your order in then sit and enjoy the on the house poppadoms the wait for your mains is because the food is freshly cooked and served lovely presented and hot....it's sure to be our go to punjaby eaterie when next in Auchterarder...... I am visiter. first time come to scotland and visit one restaurant for eating had very very bad experience. Inside of the restaurant was too much smell. And they charged me extra ordinary. I told him the owner you charged me extra he misbehave with me. In menu simple naan/roti price was 3.95 but he charged me 6 pound. And further prices variation and bill is attached. Address of the restaurant also attached Please take legal action against restaurant.

We ordered meal b, the set meal for 2 people as a takeaway. We were absolutely spoiled for choice and struggled to narrow our selection down to just two of the curries. Delivery was quick and the delivery person was really friendly. The food was absolutely faultless, the rajistani curry was one of the nicest we’ve ever had. Would definitely order again when staying in the area.

Got a take away. Worst Indian take away I’ve ever had. Korma sauce was like water. Chips and Naan looked and tasted like they had been sitting for hours. Called to tell them and was told we could have a discount next time. There will be no next time. Never left a bad review for anywhere before but complete waste of £25. Sat here £25 down and nothing to eat

Previously had no issues with meals, however, our previous meal was low in quality and taste. My undersanding is the ownership has changed hands, this may be the reason? Prices have increased (which is understandable), however, along with increasing the prices they have reduced the "meal for 3" option from including 2 rice to 1 rice and 2 nans to 1 nan. I don't believe 1 rice and 1 nan is sufficient or appropriate for 3 to 4 people.

Their curries and products are always amazing, however, lately they've started putting their chips in a cheap & flimsy paper bag. What's inside is a fistfull of soggy, cold, wet chips that are all stuck together in one congealed blob. I don't think this is acceptable seeing as their TAKEAWAY chips price is £3.50. So they've put their prices up, but stopped putting their chips in an appropriate container. Not entirely sure why, as chips are surely their cheapest produce.

My second time here. This is a super Indian restaurant, the owner is really welcoming and the food is fresh and delicious. I ordered a Murch Makani and it was spot on. The food has fresh ingredients and is well presented. I will come again when passing through on my way to the Cairngorms.

I have been having a takeaway from this restaurant for the last couple of years and can say it's the best curry for miles around highly recommend very large portions taste excellent be very hard to beat give it a try 😋 veg pakora is delish 😋

Ordered naan and a lamb curry. Tastless food ever had. The lamb curry was awful. The curry taste no like lamb curry but like lamb pcs dropped into any other gravy that has nothing to do with lamb.

This restaurant was recommended by family who have raved about the food served here so we decided to have a Boxing Day treat. We were not disappointed .. the food is stunningly excellent. Each dish was so fresh tasting not the usual ready made sauces .. you could taste the different fresh spices and vegetables. The meat was of a very high standard ..tender chunks of lamb and chicken in the dishes. The nan bread was perfect and the portions were just the right size for us. The decor is very tasteful and the service spot on. We will definitely return.

Been eating here for 25 years. Always great service. Eat at your own speed. Food has always been excellent. Only fault is that the portions are very generous. See you next time.

I ordered a chicken korai. I got what looked like an extra red masala. My sister's prawn korma was like runny soup. My husband's meal, well god knows what it was . Green slimey garlic stuff on his naan bread. £80. Absolutely awful. 2 out of our group have been ill with upset stomachs all day.

Dropped in for an evening meal with my wife. The restaurant was quiet but the food was delicious. We shared a garlic king prawn starter. The prawns were beautifully cooked and were a good size and the sauce was amazing. We both had a chicken tikka dish, I had south Indian garlic chilli and my wife a milder dish. The chiched was tender and tasty and the accompanying naan bread made for a great meal. Well worth trying this restaurant 🙂

Having travelled 4hrs, booked into our lodgings we needed food. Being on the way from hungry to hangry it had to be good. We couldn’t have picked a better place. The welcome was warm and inviting, the service was patient and with a smile. The food was exceptional. We tried dishes we hadn’t tried before and were very happy. The restaurant was nicely presented and we were never going to be sat on top of each other had it been full. The man in charge was very amenable and his local knowledge and chat was welcome. We left content, full stomachs and pleasantly satisfied. Thank you.

Our food was very tasty and had some oomph to it. We appeared to be the only dine in customers so the place was lacking the usual ambience when in a busy restaurant. We did have a very eclectic set of music to listen to. Looking at other reviews prior to writing this one, I wondered if it was the same place (it is). The food was delicious.

Sometimes finding a restaurant open on a Sunday evening is a challenge as we all arrived late. Booked a table for 4 service, food outstanding. Four empty plates will definitely call again.

We ordered the set menu for 3 and upgraded to flavoured rice for 2 and 3 different main dishes. This also came with popadoms pickles and spicy onions, as well as a mixed starter of chicken tikka, pakoras and two large Nan This was more than enough for the 4 of us and was ready in 20 minutes after placing the order. All the mains tasted really nice and they were still hot after getting them home.

Onion bhaji was over cooked & extremely dry. However, this was not the worst part of my experience. I called to express my disappointment and was basically called a liar. Person I spoked to stated we must have damaged packaging & bhaji could not possibly be dry as it was deep fried 🤔. He offered no apology, was disrespectful & stated "there is nothing I can do about it, you can do what you like" !!!!!!!!!! Do not waste your time and money. An old ready meal out of Aldi is far superior !

Takeaway meal for 4 / £50. The naans were good, but the curries were disappointing to be honest. Went for 4 different curries and they were all rather bland with no bite to them. The chicken in the curry was dry and with a texture not that pleasant to eat. The chicken pakora was decent though. Service was fine, just the food was below average. About half the takeaway was not eaten. Suggest reducing the volume of the curry and improving the quality/ingredients. No issues paying for a decent curry though. I hope the feedback is helpful.

We ate here during our short break in Auchterarder. The restaurant was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. The meal was, without a doubt, the best Indian food I've tasted. We will definitely be back!

Have ordered pizza and chips from this place before which was ok but fancied a curry this time. I am sorry to say we were gutted, the food was awful, bland and from how watery it was believe it may have been frozen. I had a Rogan Josh and did not have one hint of Indian spices, in fact I can name the ingredients used. They are plum tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, chicken and some stock, that’s it. My partners dish was a Korma and again just terrible. The cheese nana ordered was over done and had a ton of cheese thrown on top and lightly grilled, it was a heart attack on bread. The reason I am so frustrated with this is the price it costs, it should be a top notch curry!! Only thing that was okay is the frozen chips and rice. I personally don’t recommend this place at all.

Worst food ever. Everything stale. When we complained he said the meat was charcoal. It tasted like boiled meat covered in tasteless orangey sauce. No alternative was offered we had only taken 2 bites off the food and it was inedible but still he charged us full price , disgusting don't eat there or you will regret

Having used Sheray Punjab for takeaways on several occasions while previously staying at the lodge park outside Auchterarder, we had no hesitation ordering a delivery from here again on our recent trip. We had family join us this time and raved about how good the food was…how wrong were we???! The delivery arrived and straight away the chicken pakora for starters was awful, overcooked and rubbery….On to the main courses, 2 x chicken korma, a chicken pasanda, chicken kashmir we were only able to distinguish the Kashmir dish from the others as it had a slight pink tinge to the sauce from the tikka style chicken, it resembled strawberry milk and with the same consistency! As for the other 3 chicken dishes which looked the same, a white coloured soup like sauce…they were absolutely repulsive. All were tasteless/bland, tough large chunks of chicken with runny sauce, totally inedible and went in the bin. The rice and peshwari nans were the best part of the meal, an expensive £54! When I called to complain, the restaurant wasn’t interested..was told Korma and Pasanda are served in white coloured sauce! I asked why then was the sauce a pale yellow/gold colour and thick consistency (as it should be) in previous orders, he was unable to give me an answer. No apology offered and the call was rudely cut short by him. Needless to say, I will never use this establishment again. My only recommendation would be “STAY AWAY”!

Ordered a chicken bhuna tasted like chicken mixed with gravy granules ,rest of the family's seemed to be OK, I ain't fussy but it was really terrible !

Superb meal from start to finish, everything we had was of high quality. Lovely little dining room that is very cosy and welcoming.

Ordered an Egyptian shish kebab which was fine, but the other dishes (masala and a korma) came in lurid colours I've never seen before. Too much sauce and they were basically pink soup with bits of chicken floating around in them.

Phoned an order for pick up. Once we got the food to our lodge one of the dishes had chicken instead of lamb. Didn’t bother to complain as the food was tasty.

Delicious takeaway. We had just arrived for a few days self catering outside Auchterarder and we wanted a takeaway for tea. Went in and ordered 3 curries, naans and rice and it was ready to collect in less than 20 minutes. Good size pieces of chicken and lamb and everyone was well impressed. Phone was constantly ringing with orders which must be a good sign. Not expensive for the quality either. Nice off licence across the street if you need beer or wine to wash it down.

Service was rubbish. Menu is out of date, so you go in there thinking it's going to be cheap and it's not. The Indian food is ok. Just needs an upto date menu and good service. Feel like my money was wasted here

Anyone that reads my reviews knows I try to be optimistic and look for the positives. But too many issues at this restaurant to give it a good score. Food took a long time (about and hour). My lamb was way over cooked. A pizza we ordered was burned and presentation was not good at all. Food splashes around the edge of my wife's bowl. See pictures. Poppadoms were not as fresh and crispy as those I am used to. It was also way too expensive - £3.95 for 300ml bottle of Cobra. The food was also a little "strange". The onions served with the poppadoms came in a strange tomato's sauce (the base was, literally, tomato sauce). My daughter's Korma had way too much coconut. All 5 of us agreed the food didn't taste as good as we had hoped. I kind of feel this place caters for the many Gleneagles visitors who will eat once and never return. In summary: service: good and friendly, Portion size: good, prices: too high, food taste: below average, decor / ambience: very nice, presentation: poor.

My burger order wasn't only completely wrong but also burnt, costing the same price of a high quality burger form a restaurant. Also i ordered onion rings but got onions, i recommend this place if you have no idea what to get as you'll not get what you ordered.

The order was initially wrong, but when this was addressed they stated the menu had changed so in their opinion it was correct (online menu was one I was referring to, so think they need to update that before someone else has the same issue). The food is usually quite good quality but the chicken was so over cooked that I couldn’t eat it, and the samosas has a strange sour taste that just wasn’t right. The pizza had little sauce so was very dry, again, struggled to eat it. Disappointing as eat here quite often and did not expect such poor quality, especially when it is so pricey.

The menu has a great selection & the descriptions of the dishes are informative & helpful. All the dishes we had were tasty & very generous portions. One of the best indians I've had.

The menu selection here is great. It wasn't until after I ordered though that I realised the size of the portions. Next time I will order two small diahes rather than one for more variety. Delicious butter chicken! Warming and nutritious. Great service. Namaste.
