Lovely vibes but not worth going for anything more than a drink. Their take on Iranian food small plates was atrocious.. a piss take tbh. The ‘cucumber salad’ was plain slices of cucumber (for £6?!!)- far from a normal Persian cucumber salad ! And the only Persian aspect of the fish balls was the dill. Don’t advertise as Iranian food when it’s not!! Poor and very pricey. If I wasn’t on a date I would have asked to speak to the chef...

A tiny but amazing find in a very cool part of East London. The staff were relaxed but so wonderfully helpful. The decor was like being in a local Korean bar and really added to the experience. Now to the important part...the food. Every bite was delicious, comforting and a unique intro to a world of flavours. There are only about 5 things on the menu and a couple of specials but each was a stand out dish. From 3 mindblowing Kimchis - including a celery with saffron to the unmissable Sando we savoured every morsel. We had the Pork and vegan sandos and both were outstanding. Being a new vegetarian the veggie alternative is usually underwhelming but this vegan treat was unapologetically yum. This place is not to be missed!

Shep's is named after its owner and serves a host of Japanese and Korean foods. Shep is very passionate about the restaurant and the food is excellent. However where this venue shines is its cocktail menu, with some very interesting, unique and surprising mixes served in aesthetic fashion.

I cannot praise Shep's enough! Came here with a few friends on Friday night, originally just for a quick drink as we were waiting for a table at a restaurant up the road. However, as soon as we sat down, the service and the vibe was so good we decided to stay... Best decision ever! We ended up getting 5 or 6 dishes to share and it was all absolutely stunning. Particularly recommend the Korean wings! There was only one dish we felt didn't match the sauce with it, but the waiter couldn't have been happier to hear it. They're clearly striving for perfection here, and it's so refreshing. I feel very lucky that I live close by as I see this becoming a regular jaunt for me. Keep up the fantastic work and quick note to the owners, make sure you look after those staff - they are excellent.

Cool decor, nice cocktails. Had a Ramos gin Fizz last time I was here but they don’t serve them no more. Mr. Shep, if that is your real name, bring back the Ramos gin fizz! Mind you, the two cocktails I had were tasty. My mate likes the Korean food. Aye.

I am so impressed such a detail-oriented restaurant has opened here. The menu is incredible, so many dishes and cocktails that are so unique. I have been to many similar restaurants but this is so unique. Absolutely great. And the interior... so sexy!

Stumbled across this little gem on Saturday night. What a little beauty! Nice music but the lights are left on full all night (it was after 11) so could have been a slightly sexier atmosphere. They have a great instagram.

Like so many we hadn't dined out in a long time and my clever husband suggested to sulky me a mid-week local pick-us-up treat. I can only say wow. We loved Ceres when we last visited in 2019 but the tasting menu tonight with matched wines was out of this world and a steal at the price. Deservedly Michelin-recognised cuisine with such a friendly and professional face (just two young women currently run the whole outfit including single handedly chef-ing and wonderful front of house). Ceres is walking distance for us and we are grateful because it is a destination-grade restaurant. Fine dining for £48pp.

Laura has created the most welcoming and fun atmosphere in this sweet boutique Italian bakery. The coffee was so good we had to hold back from ordering a third! We ate the scrambled eggs with parmesan and it was 10/10 delicious. London needs more authentic places like this!

This is my go-to lunch spot! I have tried soo many things from the menu and they are all great! My top favourites are the sweet chilli Korean fried chicken and the chicken katsu curry! Place is clean, staff are very friendly and food is delicious ✨

I’ve been to the Plough quite a few times over a couple of years. It’s a nice pub, the staff are friendly and they have a cocktail menu and decent draught selection. They have screens for the sports lovers and there are guest chefs now and again mixing up their menu. I’ve never been to their basement club but they do have one! And their roast is really nice!

We came to the Muddy Puddle last night to spin a few records, to be honest, but we couldn't bring ourselves to leave. Ben and Phoebe have made the perfect local venue with a very laid-back but positive atmosphere. Between the buzzing bar upstairs, beautiful back garden, and intimate live music area downstairs, there are plenty of comfy corners for conversation/hanging out. The coffee was exquisite, the food looks excellent (we haven't eaten there, YET), but what totally make it stand out is the unique energy and personalities of the owners which permeate the place. If I lived nearby this would be my favourite haunt. Our (totally unsolicited) verdict: 11/10!
