Shen Kebab in Havering

full of grease absolutely disgusting the stuff so rude didn’t give us our chicken wings what we paid for . in a container and still stained our table with grease. delivery driver didn’t even have no change for us absolutely joke.

i am still gobsmacked by the way i was treated. the food here is terrible and the customer service is even worse. we ordered take out and the food was just swimming in grease, which even stained onto our table immensely. the driver was rude, he didn't have any spare change. they forgot our chicken wings and when we called them back and asked for them he said it would be an additional half an hour and he never showed up, which we paid for!! i already feeling sick after eating and after reading these other reviews about food poisoning it would be just my luck. i would sue them myself. if you care for your health whatsoever DO NOT EAT HERE!!! we called them and complained about the food being in a pool of grease and they said it was "our problem". just rude, disrespectful and totally uncalled for. the customer service at this place is just awful. would not recommend this place to my worst enemy really. this was supposed to be my dinner and it turned into just a waste of money instead.

My friends and I ate here yesterday, and within hours we all got horrible food poisoning the chicken was dry and tasted off, but we didn’t think much of it at the time. We’ve been sick ever since. they don’t handle their food properly. If you value your health, stay far away from this place. Definitely never coming back!

Portion sizes were a joke we ordered three combination kebab and this barely fed two people. Ordered extra salad to come with it as one salad was already supposed to come with it, we received one tiny pot of salad. The guy then told me it was my fault because I had to select if I wanted salad but I did not get this option and said I would have to wait 45 minutes for another salad that I paid for. So I basically paid £25 for few bits of meat and tiny pot of salad. Definitely not worth the money.

The kebab was awful, one of the chicken burgers we ordered came with no salad or sauce, and was so dry it couldn’t be eaten. Will be going to just eat for a refund as the food was unedible and I had to go elsewhere for food

When they were Shen Kebab, they were reasonably priced. Ordered a small doner wrap, chicken burger and chips, they asked for £18.75. Go to Ottomans instead, better doner and meat for less, or Gallows Kebab. Same thing at Gallows costs £14.60 and they are miles better than this place!! He tried to argue about chilli peppers with me to justify the price. I was loyal to Shen Kebab, but will never go here again!

Sorry guys, the rice was the worst I’ve tasted. Really bad taste to it and quite watery. The lamb also tasted not right,it all didn’t seem fresh. Both the chicken wraps were just about ok. Apologies, but I won’t be ordering from here again.

It’s a bit misleading on the menu… I thought that I was ordering 2 kebabs for £12ish ( an advertised offer) but it arrived as a lone mixed kebab.. it would have been cheaper to order a mixed kebab and wouldn’t of had to share!

Brilliant as always, went with the chicken shish and rice which came with two pittas. The chicken was great and the rice had real flavour.

Worst customer service got delivered food without rice or chips the food came with 3 cubes of lamb and 4 of chicken for 10£ each when called told can’t do anything about it and not interested

Consistently very good, never had a bad meal. Favourite kebab place in Romford. Would be nice if they did the Turkish bread with a kebab instead of the pitta and not have to pay extra for it

Great value they offer the voucher reward scheme . The last discount was enough to pay half our meal. The food is excellent and the portions are great especially when you go extra large.

Always amazing food from here! It’s out to go if we get a take away. We don’t use any other place now apart from here. The food has always arrived hot and it always cooked perfect. We’ve never had a problem. Their deals are good too. Would highly recommend. The drivers are always so polite too.

First time order from here as wanted to try some where new as regular kebab shops have just got worse. But these guys did send a lovely bit of food chicken shish was plenty chicken plus proper pitta the large donner was loads and the wrap was a good size and tasted great. I order large chips the portion was a bit small maybe they may have read the order wrong but apart from that great food. The price I thought was a bit dear but to be honest the food was worth it. 👍

Well the iskender was not iskender, it was doner with tomato sauce only. No yoghurt no bread... either it was forgotten or this is what they serve. Giving 4 stars due to quantity and taste of sauce.

Arrived early, and shared the meal with my son who enjoyed the chips. Highly recommend.

I am in love with it, i called in and added doner they were really friendly and told me no worries and added it, was also really patient when i was bringing the money, lovely customer service. BEYOND AWFUL BURNT CHARED FOOD all you could taske was Chared burt taste not the food itself it went straight in the Bin. when trying to contact them by phone to resolve the issue kept having the phone picked up and hung up on me and finally someone answer and says DONT CALL US!!!! was so rude will not be returning and would advise anyone considering using them to reconsider there options if they want food they can eat.
