Our server DEBRA made us feel very welcome and relaxed. She had excellent customer service skills- she came over to see if our food was satisfying and also ensured the table stayed clean and tidy throughout our dining experience.

Food was great, but rather expensive for portion size… particularly the garlic bread …

Arrived hot and before allotted time. We had a really bad experience before so this restored our faith! Would recommend.

Update: Came back today, was served by Debra, and was well looked after. Also glad we don't have to use the app for all orders. Food is great but with the new restriction in restaurants and having to download menus and apps it is a real pain. The staff were fantastic in helping getting to grips with it but i might think about it twice before eating out again

Attended this pizzaexpress during the kids holidays so it is understandable that it was packed. However, the staff (this particular man) that was there today had a terrible attitude towards us. Came to our table to take our order, when I started speaking he then stops me and says I will be right back. Then went to another table to give them their food. He was very dismissive when asked about the kids menu, and it was clear that they were understaffed. It was our first time attended as a family, and it will be the last (at least to this particular location). Our food took over 30m to arrive when other that came after us, we’re getting their food. At the end, when asked for our bill, it took them another 10m to bring it to our table, and I had to call someone again and asked them to please give us our bill because we were then late for other activities. Extremely dissatisfied.

Food portions seem to be getting smaller. The restaurant was empty for a Saturday afternoon. And the app didn't work properly. So not a great time.

Arrived at 11.30 on a Sunday with 8 rowdy 10 year olds and our waiter Win was incredibly accommodating and helpful!

The staff are really friendly. The atmosphere was really nice and chill. Food was promptly served. We were served by Jasmine who was polite, friendly and efficient.

Ines provided excellent menu recommendations and was attentive without being intrusive. Her warm demeanor and genuine care for her guests made us feel truly valued. Actually better than expected! My boyfriend loves the chain but I’ve always been on the fence - however this location was clean and much calmer than others we’ve been to. Our server was very nice as well!

Driver definitely collecting numerous orders as my pizza somehow ended up in rush green and then arrives to me 25 mins after leaving the restaurant, pizza had to be reheated. Please check out drivers because this has happened on numerous occasions

My daughter attended a kids birthday party on Monday bank holiday at Pizza Express Romford , and it was fantastic! Win was incredibly friendly, great with the children, and kept everyone calm and engaged. He led a fun pizza-making session, teaching the kids how to create their own pizzas with patience and enthusiasm. Thanks to Win and the wonderful environment, the party was a huge success. Highly recommend Pizza Express for any celebration!

Stood there waiting to be seated for over 5 minutes, was ignored by the staff. It wasn’t incredibly busy, wouldn’t have taken more than 10 seconds. Had to leave in the end. The staff at Nando’s are so much more welcoming & kind, and at the very least extend you the courtesy of letting you know if there’s going to be a long wait.

Pleasantly surprised by the pasta- was genuinely delicious and perfectly cooked. The pizza was average, but the atmosphere was nice.

We were asked to review by our waiter… The food here is standard pizza express, which is nice, but the service is consistently quite bad/ slow. It looks like there’s never enough staff.

Win was an incredible, attentive host. We were a party of 24 adults and boisterous children, but he wasn't fazed! Thank you for your service with a smile. Yummy pizzas by Pirabu and Eva the supervisor was fabulous as well, checking that we had everything we wanted.

Sharan was an excellent host and waitress for my sons 6th birthday. We had 8 guests plus 7 parents. Pizza, ice cream and extras were amazing as usual and service was excellent- went the extra mile to cut and box the cake slices! Can’t wait to come back!

I had already been to the Pizza Express at the 02 arena and all was great. I recently tried the one in Romford and I had a slightly less pleasant experience. While the food was served in reasonable time, it took ages for my emplty dinner and desert plates to be collected. And even longer for someone to come over so I could pay the bill! In fairness the waiter did apologise, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on that occasion. Even though there did not seem to be that many customers. Most tables were empty. All in all, I would go back again, especially at the one at the 02.

Lovely service by WIN only reason I didn’t give it 5 star was because the pizza meat wasn’t great quality. Very chewy and fatty in places.

Had a blast at pizza express Romford. Ines was our waitress she was very polite, helpful and informative of the menu. The chef Prabu has hands of gold, the food was exceptional. Menisha took us to our table and made us feel extremely welcome. I will be coming back and most definitely have been left with an unforgettable experience. P.S the ‘Nduja calzone is 10/10.
