Shell Old Inns in North Lanarkshire

What a horrendous experience! My 6month old son is currently shivering in the boot of our car as we try and change his nappy, all because the jobsworth behind the counter wouldn’t let us in to use the baby change facilities, claiming the toilets were being cleaned and it was against health and safety. If I could rate this place zero I would!

Don’t bother to stop no toilets at the service station and on-site cafe toilets are for customers only. Poor services!! Would have given one stars but have to give one!!

Don't bother! Terrible services, poor lighting you need wellies to cross the car park, and no public toilets!

After a long 10 hour drive home from down south the young man working midnight shift last night the 11th January 2020 was the most polite and friendly mannered, a real tonic after such a long journey, keep this service up.

Had not been in for few months. Low and behold the counter has changed,the male toilets still stink of stale urine yet 10 feet away food is bieng served . As per standard practice there is a que of people out the door but but we have 1 member of staff on the till and several.doing nothing. If you go in after 7 pm there's only one member of staff.on duty and you don't have to worry about the stinking toilets because they close them and tell you there broke. I must say I did notice a slight change in the staffs attitude they don't quite snatch and snarl as they used to but heho the place is still a disgrace for how busy it is. But I must add the donuts are lush. I would avoid the place like place.

This cafe, situated just off the M80, has a great variety of sandwiches, cakes and drinks and is open throughout the day. The staff are very friendly and the prices very reasonable. Well worth a visit for a break if inthe area.

Situated just off the M80 at the Old Inns Roundabout, it is a Shell fuel station with some sandwiches, drinks and confectionary. Other cafes very close by. Proximity to motorway makes it very convenient. Access from both directions off motorway. Hotel within 10 minutes if an overnight stay is wanted.

Lunchtime I got chicken curry half both chip n rice really good taste wipeout n other time I come back I hot chilli con with chips us good food. Will Deffo come back for lunchtime superb I know who own cafe I know well tang thumb up. If you n partner try go it worth it give them 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 👏

Stop here for a roll and square with potato scone before going to Portobella for a day Nice and clean café not many tables to sit in and eat but cant complain about what we asked for, rolls came out quick food was hot I would go back again for another roll next time we go away for the day They do open at 6 am if you do an early start

Good for petrol and great service remember to get a loyalty card a great snackbar and well priced for nice food

Mi padre y yo metimos en aquí si tienes curiosidad el sábado después de ver desde la autopista y tenía algunos bollos recién hechos. Esperábamos que fuese más café y menos tienda pero fue sin duda muy bien presentado y distribuido. Nuestros planes fue a sentarse para desayunar, pero estaba tan fría que abandonó al coche. En los calurosos días de verano sin duda sería lo suficientemente cálido como para sentarse. Esto es perfecto para comer algo rápido, si estaban en la carretera, pero no necesariamente un lugar donde iría con un desayuno o almuerzo. Sin duda disfruté de mi desayuno y rollos fue seriamente impresionados con su acceso minusválidos y loos, desafortunadamente, como muchos lugares que han perdido la oportunidad de instalar un adulto discapacitado mesa para cambiar y grúa, pero hay espacio para hacer esto en el futuro debe convertirse en ley.

I visit this garage often as I live 1 mile away mostly for a Coffee and fuel. This review has nothing to do with the Wee Cafe across the forecourt which is excellent - This is abut the Petrol Station food and staff! This morning I purchased a Sausage bap and thank god i didn't eat it - when i got home i found it was undercooked looked disgusting and it was in a hard over heated roll! See the photos i took when i got home! They are seriously understaffed - there were 11 people in the Queue this morning - 1 person on the till while the other staff member was to busy chatting to her local friend by the crisps who had come in! She didn't seem to bother that there as a large queue - they really need to up there game - the BP garage 2 miles away has much better organised staff - and much nicer food! As soon as there is more than 5 people in the queue they ring a bell and more staff man the tills! Shell Old Inns - get your act together! Shocking food and very bad management!

Fantastic Wee Cafe,Visit Every Fortnight When In Area.The Menu Is Extensive And All Freshly Prepared The Chicken Curry With Fried Rice Is Amazing Do Not Pass By This Wee Gem Value For Money,Quality Food..

Been going here for years now and not once have I had bad food be it a roll and sausage or lasagne and chips it's always amazing. The only down side is it can be a busy wee place but that is because how good the food is. If ever you are on the m80 take a punt on it its worth it.

The wee cafe/food bar next to the petrol station is to die for! Absolutly fantastic and very cheap! Bacon n tattie scone roll, lorne n haggis roll, green tea, cappuccino and an irn-bru £6.90

Great Mac and chips, square sausage and baked goods including snowball and fly cemetery. Italian coffee bravissimo. STOP HERE. Petrol good too.

Estación de servicio Shell es simplemente la normal estación de servicio, pero al lado suyos una agradable comida china y un snack bar, vale la pena hacer una parada en un largo viaje y parking gratuito

Spotted this takeaway 'van' when filling up at the petrol station. Offers a really long list of foods from homemade biscuits to pasta. We had a mixture of macaroni cheese, square sausage sandwich, bacon sandwich, sausage sandwich, crisps, drinks, fruit and cake. It's a mixture of a van on the roadside and a truck stop - there are times that you just need your fill of food and this is it but without the plastic wrappers and microwave oven.
