We went for a family get together. 15 adults and 5 children and the staff could not do enough for us. Service was great. Catered to every request and the food was really delicious. Thank you very much

Samosa were frozen from inside and we were offered a replacement but even the second time, it was same

The staff were very friendly and attentive, but the food was below par. The naan breads felt like they were purchased from Tesco, they added some topppings and warmed them up. The curries were ok, nothing special and now next morning my tummy is making grumbling noises.

I've been going to Sheikan for several years and still love their food. Their food has great flavour and authentic taste. Their staff are friendly and courteous. I've not had any issues with this restaurant and would highly recommend it.

The food is good. One of the better local Indian / Pakistani restaurants. Ordered the kebabs, pilau rice, dal and matka kulfi. Everything was nice, plentiful, freshly made and tasty. We did ask for the dal to be less spicy but still found this quite spicy. This was a personal preference. The matka kulfi is to die for! I could have eaten ten! They give a free basic salad with the food and tasty sauces. Reasonably priced. Big restaurant, spacious. Staff generally very pleasant. Only negative is they can do with a bit of a clean, wipe tables and clean the floor. They only accept cash sometimes. Would recommend. Normally semi busy.

been here few time. normal food like any other cure restaurant, nothing great. I think chef keeps changing as the taste is never the same

One of regular haunts and is consistent every time. Very friendly staff and owners always accommodating and very welcoming. We have been going since the day this Restauraunt opened many years ago and is going from strength to strength. Best kebabs and chops.

We've been going to Sheikan since it opened many many years ago and is a regular with family and friends. Recently been refurbished and looking good. The place is always kept to a very high standard and defiantly spotless. Menu is simple and not over complicated what you see is what you get. Always fresh and very very tasty. Best kebabs in town, chops are always a good choice to, mains has to be the Karahi lamb. Staff and Managment are always welcoming and very friendly this is a proper family Restauraunt were you will never be disappointed.

Portions are big. Food is generally good but can be quite spicy and over spiced. Big variety on menu. Normally ask for mild. Staff pleasant and reasonably priced. Try to avoid eating with your hands, smell lingers aa with most Asian food!

Went to Sheikhan after many years. Stopped going due to their personal hygeine issues. Previously the waiter had personal hygiene Is due, confronted him but he was not meek. This time went for a take away, this young waiter sneezed on to his hands and straight away lifted up a file of clean plates..which would be used to present to any customers who would come to eat there. The man at the reception was frequently touching his nose. Need to be sorted from owners to Chefs to Waiters.

Very good restaurant, the waiter was friendly and provided good service. The price is good. Shame they do not serve alcohol as I would've liked a beer with my curry. So will recommend and will go again hopefully.

I've been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The starters are good, the paneer tikka was especially good. I also enjoyed the chicken curries especially achari chicken. The service is ok but you're never going to get top quality service at these kind of places.

had not been to Sheikhan for a long time. decided to go for lunch. the food was excellent as ever. the service was good. they have increased the prices slightly. pity they have stopped serving alcohol but you can do BYO - or otherwise buy from shop next door

A group of friends had dinner staff was very helpful and quick service. Amazing food taste reasonable price too.

Vine aquí con mi esposa y mi hijo (2 años) en una noche de domingo en abril. El lugar estaba en capacidad de 75%. Pero el propietario nos preguntamos dónde nos gustaría sentarse e incluso nos ofrecieron una mesa de seis, aunque sólo había 3 de nosotros. He estado en este restaurante varias veces, pero lo que me hizo escribir esta crítica es el nivel de servicio ofrecido por el personal. Con una familia joven es difícil salir a comer, pero el personal era muy rápido para ayudarnos con nuestras peticiones a medida (extra yogur para nuestro hijo, el hecho de dumd chill, un bowl mezclar la comida). Los camareros eran también muy rápido para cumplir nuestras peticiones y nunca nos hicieron sentir como si estuvieras estorbándoles. Sólo había 2 camareros. Una señora de Europa oriental (Diane creo) y un poco más oscuro hombre indio. Ambos son igualmente un gran servicio. Diane era incluso jugando con nuestro hijo, cuando nos paga la factura. He escrito mucho sobre el servicio como yo creo personalmente que su comida no puede ser criticado, ya que cumple con todos los requisitos. Yo sé que ha habido algunas críticas negativas, pero siempre he encontrado el propietario muy complaciente. He estado allí un par de veces y los estándares son a pasos agigantados. No puede ser peor y buscar alternativas como chili masala o más lounge mercado carlton

Just collect my take away from Sheikhan and I'm very disappointed.

5 of us shared a mixture of plates from lamb to chicken. Waiter was very friendly and whole meal was delicious. Definitely a go to restaurant for us. Very reasonable prices.

Nice Indian restaurant Food good but not a big portions. Green chilies burn my friend throat hahaha so it means good.

About 80 of us had booked the restaurant. The waiting staff were excellent. For starters we had ordered sheekh kebab, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, chili mogo, with all the chutneys roti's and salad. these were delicious. The mains, the dhal was good but the karai gos was dissapppointing. The roti's were lovely.Very reasonably priced.

This is an Indian restaurant that caters for Indians so dont expect Western style service or decor. It's all about the food!! I have been going here for 10 years and have never had a bad meal.Service is patchy and if you are waitng too long - well get up and get the waiter and tell him what you need!The food is hot, spicy, always delicious and plentiful. I have taken many friends here and all have left full, happy and impressed.Don't go here for a romantic meal.

The service is great and the food is extremely tasty. I felt very comfortable there and the staff always asked to make sure everything was alright. The food isn't too spicy, its just right. I would definitely recommend going there for dinner!

This is the best restaurant. Love this place. I come as often as I visit Kingsbury. The food is excellent. ..try their methi chicken - it's the best.The staff are really good and helpfulTheir service is very good and prompt.I hope to keep returning for a long time yet.

Expectations were high but unfortunately service lacked and the quality of the food was merely palatable. A request for a cup of tea at the end of the meal was declined by the staff and no explanation was given. Would not try again.

Booked this place for a surprise birthday party of 35 peopl. Prioir to the big day, went to restaurant to try out some of the food and agree the menu for the party. For the agreed price, we were going to have 4 starters, 4 mains, rice and nan plus kulfi for dessert and drinks. The tasting went down a treat as the 'masala mogo' and butter chicken were just awasome. saying that it was the best butter chicken I have ever tasted would not be over egging it.Come the day, all guests turned up. The service was perfect and the food kept coming. All fresh and hot. It was clear everything was being cooked and served. All the dishes went down very well. They just kept coming, chicken tikka, chilli paneer, masala mogo and seekh kebab for starters This was followed by talka daal, vegetable curry, butter chicken and handi ghost. All washed down with nan and rice.We spend several hours and were not rushed. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We went here midweek, although not too busy we were warmly welcomed and had prompt service throughout our meal. We had complimentary salad and poppadoms on arrival, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is well lit with nice big tables.The food was among the best I've had in a long time, not overly oily or spiced and very very tasty.

Sheikhan is by far THE best Pakistani restaurant that I've ever been to. It is very similar to Indian food, but just has a slightly different edge -- probably in the choice of spices used. Everything from Lamb kebabs to their amazing Bhoona Ghost and various curries + the wonderful rotis that you tear apart and scoop up the rice and meat together -- total bliss. Also, drink their native Cobra beer, a fantastic compliment for this type of food. The staff are welcoming, courteous and efficient. The surroundings/decor are clean and simple, but it's all about the food!

The food seemed ok, not great, but still ok. Unfortunately myself and the two other members of my party suffered from food poisoning after eating here.

The food is always cooked freshly in large portions. every dish is different, not like many places where you could be hard put to tell the difference from one to another. The staff are always friendly, the manager shows exactly how it should be done. It can get a little noisy when busy but that is a small price to pay for the overall experience. Visiting friends always ask if we can go here, perhaps my cooking isn't up to much!

What a bargain! Great tasty food with great service.. Also one of the cheapest places to get a Cobra beer in London!

I visit this restaurant a few times each year and i would most definitely recommend it. The food is very authentic Indian cooking and full of flavour. The portions are big and each dish is excellent value for money. It is always busy and so I would recommend booking in advance. Service is good as it gets the job done.

Wonderful decore and the chairs are very comfy, makes you feel very relexed, brillant time would come again.

This restaurant is only 7 mins walk from my house and been around for many years. The food is good and even vegetarians have some varieties here. I like their lassi and their service has always been good.

My fiancé and I came in on a Tuesday evening at approximately 20:00. It was raining and there were 2 other families in Sheikhan. Due to the weather outside we asked for the warmest seats in the restaurant and the manager gave his recommendation. It didn’t feel that warm but his recommendation was appreciated. The manager was very hospitable and it is great that on arrival you are provided with a poppadum per person and some salad. We never felt pressured into placing an order quickly or to order more than we wanted. There was a waiter to hand, who to was also very attentive. In terms of service I had no complaints, far from it I would say that I would have a few compliments. Now onto the most important part the food...Yes, YES, YES! The food was exceptional. We have been to Sheikhan a number of times and my fiancé made a comment that the lamb seems to get better each time we come. We ordered the lamb saag and informed the manager that we do not want fatty meat and we want it tender. When it arrived..it was exactly what we wanted! We also ordered a prawn dish and speaking to the manager he recommended the Bhuna and that too was very nice. For those of you who like their food slightly spicy I would recommend getting the Bhuna slightly spicy. Both the dishes contained a large amount of meat / prawns. I can’t cook, won’t cook, but my fiancé made a point that the prawns were perfectly cooked. The portion sizes are also HUGE. One mains is easily enough for two people. Flavours were spot on and it came out piping hot. Even the tomatoes in the salad on entry were nice and firm. I ordered a jug of passion fruit juice which tasted sweet, yet salty. Exactly how I like it. The manager also asked if everything was okay and as we requested.After the meal, the waiter gladly packed what we could not eat (not surprising due to their portion size) and did not rush to give us the bill. Even when we were leaving the manager again checked everything was okay and to our specification and encouraged us to specify how we want dishes made. He even explained the care they take when making their seafood dishes. This instilled great confidence in Sheikhan and made us feel so welcome.If you are looking for a new place to try... try here, if you are looking to have a good curry...come here, if you don’t want to spend through the roof... guess what this is the place! I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a meal fit for a dog! They use all the lamb in other dishes and then leave the minimum of meat and plenty of fat on the bone, stick it in a sauce and serve it up. I have never been so annoyed.

I've been here so many times because the food is so nice and the all the staff are very friendly. They also give generous portions. I really can't wait to go there again. The only thing I would say bad about it is that the food does take quite a bit of time to come to the table however they make sure you have enough salad and poppadoms! I hope everyone else who goes there is as impressed as I am with it.

Food is on point here, great selection of punjabi dishes although more recently much milder than I recalled.The one issue I had was the mix grill should come with a charcoal grill taste but not to the point where the food is burnt which did happen.However upon sending it back to the kitchen it was amended and a replacement came back reasonably quickly.Would recommend if in the kingsbury area.

Always look for where locals eat....Basic decor and the electro soundtrack can be pretty irritating, but you can't fault the food and the value, zingy fresh flavours and generous portions. This stretch of Kingsbury high road has loads of competition but this place stands out. Excellent doggy bag policy, nice people, they just need to change the record. Recommended.
