I had an amazing meal delivered prompt and still hot. The lady who delivered the meal was so friendly and attentive , saying enjoy and thank you.

Top norch best in the area great food and lot of option we been here 4times now and food is so constant I highly recommend this place to try out

The food arrived fairly quickly, but that was the end of the positives. The Tikka Masala was wet, tasteless and had very little chicken. We ordered onion bhajis which tasted ok, but were doughy in the middle and the Naan bread was dry and crumbly and possibly a bit stale. Nothing tasted like it had any sort of spice and nothing seemed to be seasoned. Generally bland and poor quality.

Unfortunately the food was only warm when it got to us. (We ordered last week and the food was great so maybe a one off.)

Food was late, and when It turned up the curry had opened up and leaked everywhere in the bag. Bad experience

Although it was a bit late, when it finally arrived it was so good!!! Absolutely hit the spot and the delivery guy was really nice and came running up to my house and checked everything in the bag. Food was lovely!!

This has to be one of the worst Indian takeaways I’ve ever had. Virtually no meat. It was pink and way too much gristle! Never again. BEWARE!!!!

They got my order wrong and didn’t replace with the correct order. The guy on the phone was extremely unhelpful and rude. Worst Indian ever!

I did the request at 20:30 and The confirmation sad 21:45 for a local place is not very nice to take so long but was nice food a part os the tikka masala was pink or red and no taste. I love the garlic tikka chicken very nice.

I spend a lot on Indian takeaway. Wanted to try somewhere i haven’t before and what a disaster! Unfortunately this was the worst Indian I’ve ever had. Plus it took over 2 hours to arrive and was missing the nan when it eventually arrived. Manager brought us the nan himself when we phoned but by then the damage was done, the poor food and crazy long wait was unbearable but usually I don’t mind if the food is good. This food was so bland and freazing cold. 3 popadoms as compensation for the delay was also laughable since most restaurants give us them for free anyway.

The food was really nice but the delivery time wasnt good started as over an hour then added another 20 mins on. Once that was up I had to call the restaurant to get told that they are running behind and still will be 30 mins or more. Ordered food at 6:50pm and didnt get it till half 9. I will say to be fair it was new years day so can imagine a lot of people wouldn't want to be cooking so maybe was overly busy and as the food its self was so nice I would order again as you couldn't fault the food at all and although that was a very long wait especially when hungry I would rather wait a bit for decent food. Rather than quick delivery and the food isnt nice.

Nothing at all wrong with our food, but subjectively it lacked flavour/spice... too bland. We have had lots worse... but I’m after a real palate pleaser ; a 10/10, this was a 7/10, but please try for yourself, plenty will disagree with our appraisal. Good Luck

After we ordered, 20 minutes was added to the estimated time of arrival meaning we had to wait for over an hour! We chose somewhere that was not too far so we could get it quickly so that was very disappointing. When it finally did arrive it tasted nice but the naan bread was luke warm. The biryani was nice, not the best I've had. The delivery driver was very nice and polite though

Food very average, tikka masala lacked flavour;. Naan bread was quite thin and soggy. Food also arrived 15 minutes late with the driver offering nothing in the way of an apology. Had a lot better!

Used to order from here before and it was nice. I dont know if there is now a different chef but the food was not very nice. I couldnt taste any spices or flavour, food was completely bland. Money down the drain as I couldnt eat it.

The food was pretty average. We usually order from Babur, but decided to try this place upon recommendation, but unfortunately we were left less than satisfied. Won't say it's this restaurants fault, when you've had the best average just won't do. You should always stick to what you know especially when it's never disappointed.

King prawn balti contain barely any prawns, let alone king ones, meaning the curry was mostly sauce. Chicken tikka dopiza was incredibly bland and tarka sag daal was really salty. Given the positive reviews, I was surprised by how bad this was. Maybe Shapla were having an off day because our meal really wasn't good.

Average food, some dishes nicer than others. Would look elsewhere when ordering but food was on time.

Disappointly watery chicken madras and a very under-spiced fish curry. The madras was pretty tasteless. If I'd been at the restaurant I would have sent it back.

We love the shapla! Good choice of paneer dishes and very friendly staff.

My partner and I decided to try the food from here, waited a while for our order and when we got it, it was warm not hot like we expected. The portions were not that great compared to other takeaway places and the taste was nothing special. I don't think we will be ordering from them again.

I love Shapla but my takeaway this time wasn't up to its usual high standard. (I ordered a dhansak which wasn't sweet or spicy enough for me.) The service was great though - my order arrived late and the man who delivered was very apologetic and friendly.

Really good food and came a lot quicker than I was told. Only thing is korma was greasier than usual. Chose this place as had 4/5 hygiene rating compared to the usual 1 or 2 star for Indian restaurants.

Chicken Pasanda was tasteless, whole meal was lukewarm, Chicken Madras watery and not the right heat. Biryani was fine but again lukewarm.

Haven't received the food, been an hour and a half. Told by them to wait another 30mins.

Delivered over an hour late, no communication. Scheduled for 20:10, then 20:35 but didn't arrive until after 21:00. Phoned the restaurant and they didn't even apologise, very frustrating. The food however was very good but ruined by poor customer experience.

Food was OK, lacked depth and rounded flavour which curry should have. Delivery time was poor. The ETA was extended by 10 minutes already and it was still late. The delivery man also went to the wrong address. Got a bottle of coke to compensate.

Food arrived 15 mins late. We called the restaurant to find out where it was and the guy we spoke to wasn't very helpful, telling us it was no longer in the restaurant, but was reluctant to call the driver. When the food did arrive it was all cold. The onion bhajis were under cooked and greasy. Both curries were oily and the medium hot curry was mild.

First time using this place. Really great meal. Tasted fresh and not greasy at all. I will use them again next time. Recommended.

I requested the takeaway for 7:45pm as my hubby wasn't due home until then, yet it turned up at 7pm. I explained this to the delivery guy but he just mumbled something and said he'd tell the restaurant. I then had to keep the food warm for 45mins. Wasn't best pleased. Shame as the food was nice.

Order was incorrect and this was not thought to be a problem when we called - they even rang back to tell us we were mistaken! Not enough poppadoms sent despite ordering and paying for them. Then they were soggy too. Driver was totally unable to find us despite clear instructions and a lengthy follow up phone call. Terrible service. Do not use this restaurant.
