Shaorma Romaneasca (SPARTAN RESTAURANT LIMITED) in Dudley

Visited during my wife’s birthday. There was only one area we could sit. Good staff and pub sadly ruined when three locals started talking openly setting alsatians on our rescue dogs when they barked, continuing to openly complain about the dogs for half an hour. As we left, we explained they were rehomed only to get further abuse including insinuations about drowning them. This is supposed to be a dog friendly pub. Horrible atmosphere, left without finishing our pints.. To be fair the landlord, a dog owner himself, did offer us alternative seats, however, at this point the damage had been done after half an hour of listening to these deliberately offensive comments.

Amazing little place with a continental feel

Sadly, having heard how good this place was we , a group of four, decided the place was too expensive for the service we received. I appreciate when they are cooking we have to wait, but to put our food on the table when it is nearly cold? I am sorry, but our four meals were under cooked? That is not what I would expect from a place so expensive. To be fair the food once re heated was good, nothing special, but good. The premises are in an old pub, sadly, I felt it was a bit dark and dingy, tables were quite cramped and in truth it all needs freshening up! Sadly, we don't think we will go back even though the food was as I said above, nothing special but good!

A friendly local pub, reasonably priced.

Fantastic food! Big order, nearly £100 worth, the pizzas are a-maz-ing, only slight let down was the chips were a bit meh, but considering how much we ordered for our office lunch, Crispy Cod was excellent!!!
