Shanghai Takeaway in Aylesbury Vale

First time using Shanghai this weekend and it was probably the best Chinese takeaway I've had in years. We will definitely be coming back.

Food is good as the amount. But the poor customer service

It was my first time there last weekend,though is very close to me. I must say their meal was worth it for me. I enjoyed every bit of it. Will patronize them more often henceforth.

Always go above and beyond. Have used for years never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and delivery's come on time if not earlier! Give you free things over certain price. Won't use anywhere else. Also peanut Satay sauce is the best!

Used to be good, refusing to give online delivery options. Order from their competitor Lakeside instead as they will take online orders. Will remove review once Delivery is added to site again

The place is bloody shut nothing posted. Says open online and on website. Not till you call and a message it's not open till mid March. This place is getting worse and worse. Shame cause I loved it's food. Now it's near impossible to get

Good food but third order tonight where something was missing and the person who answers the phone is less than helpful. Won’t be using again unfortunately.

OH MY GOD! I ordered for 6:30pm and it comes now 5:30pm seriously????? My husband isn't hungry so some of this will go to waste

Every year, for my birthday we treat ourselves to a Chinese. We absolutely loved our food. It was hot, tasty and delivered on time.

Well if you give me a chance technology to try the food, I'll let you know. Ask me tomorrow when I wake up, whether I have a bad stomach or not , well ill probably know by tomorrow. Technology always wants to jump the gun - have some patience technology.

Shanghai is the best Chinese I have had around Aylesbury, alway's go there when we have a Chinese takeaway, great food, lovely people always helpful and friendly.

Great take away. Very large selection of dishes upon there menu. If you order for delivery it has always turned up before their own ETA times. Food also always arrives hot and you can also tell it is perfectly fresh and just been prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone in the Aylesbury area.

First time I have tried since moving to Aylesbury . Very quick Delivery Chow mein was tasty & they do a spicy version which I like. Chicken balls Hong kong Style was spot on ! Crispy still although in the sauce . 👍

Delivery time was quick. Food was average enough but was all nice and warm. I would probably use again not over priced I've had much worse takeaways lol 😆

No apologies for not having a card machine working meaning had to pay cash which I didn't have on me. Unhelpful and was more worried about being on his phone

Ordered on the phone, was ready to pick up when i arrived 15 mins later, food was amazing. Chips were fresh and crispy, chicken in blackbean sauce had so much flavour. Will definitely return

Absolutely atrocious customer service! I am totally horrified!!! There was 2 items missing from our order, we called up to ask where they were and the person on the phone was so rude, shouting and swearing down the phone when all we were l, was polite and asking about theissing items. We weren't charged for the items so we asked to pay for them. The delivery driver turned up and refused to let us pay card or over the phone. We called the restaurant whilst the driver was at the door and their response was "we don't deliver to your area" and hung up. The driver was really rude saying things like he doesn't get paid enough for this. In the end we had to go in to the shop to actually recieve our original items! When we explained what had happened we were told that The delivery driver had said to them that we refused to pay at the door which is untrue . We were then told we would have to wait a further 15 minutes for the delivery driver to arrive to have the items that he had in his car! We explained that we weren't happy with that as it would be cold as it had been 10 minutes since he had driven away from our home.The rudeness I have experienced from them this evening has changed my opinion on them completely! My family have been using them for 15 years and it's safe to say tonight was the last time we ever order from them ever again!

Best Chinese takeaway in Aylesbury, in my opinion. Their prawn toast is better than any other I have tried and they have a great selection. And they are the only takeaway in Aylesbury that does 2L bottles of Dr. Pepper which earns them a good rating anyway from me. It is a shame they only accept Paypal and cash on the website. While it does not affect me personally, I know a couple people who don't order because they don't like paypal and would rather pay with card on the website.

Food is good but service is disgusting messed up original order had to wait 30 mins for missing food to be delivered and also extra dish that I didn't order had to be returned ! What they going to do send it out to someone else ? When missing food turned up was wrong phoned them They laughed and said will have to wait 45 mins Whole meal was ruined ! Dont waste your time ! Double eight much better !

Like this takeaway. Nice food, arrives quickly and special requirements always catered to. Friendly staff, can't fault the service.

very disappointed,had a home delivery,it was cold,salt and pepper prawns were all veg and no flavour,singapore noodles were over cooked and no flavour,beef in black bean was ok but hardly any beef,all vegetables,never again,1st and last time,worst chinese ive had from aylesbury

Great service, good food for the price. We had a company lunch event and though they don't normally do lunches, but still stretched the rules for us, very friendly people, and very punctual.

Have ordered a couple of times already, and every time they do not disappoint. Meals are cooked just right, generous portions, fast delivery, and good value for money(what more do you want?). Definitely recommend this takeaway. IMHO best Chinese takeaway in Aylesbury.
