Shaman London - Leman Street in Tower Hamlets

From the outside it looks like a smart, friendly little place. Coffee was served near cold and the barista was the most unhappy girl you could wish to meet. Wont be returning.

Average space, particularly the coworking — not enough sockets but overall, fine. Awful service though, especially the person behind the coffee kiosk with pink / purple hair. Seemed like they just hate their job and resent people for coming in for coffee and to use the facilities. Very rude to me and my friend. The St. Paul's Shaman is a million times better in terms of space, service and comfort.

Whenever I come to Aldgate I head straight to the Leman Locke cafe for coffee and the best cinnamon buns. Imagine my huge disappointment when on arrival the buns are no more! Nothing’s the same there and that includes the staff on the counter. Why change something for the worse. And, this ‘no cash’ policy is infuriating. One should be able to pay with card or cash! I’ll be walking that bit further to Exmouth Coffee or Trade for my elevenses.

We stay at Lemon Lock. And yesterday we visited Alter Vegan restaurant in the same house. And the food experience was amazing, incredible to get these flavours in vegan food. And the staff was lovely It was my husbands 70 birthday and they helped me celebrate him. Fantastic. The food was so good so I had tears in my eyes. Lena
