We have used Shalimar lots, probably one of the best Indian restaurants in North Staffordshire. We had a number of Curries all with very unique tastes, all cooked very well with lots of meat also cooked really well. A mistake was made and the starters were not delivered nor charged for. I called and the chap instantly offered to deliver free of charge, there was no problem at all just simply the thing was to correct the issue. Lots of restaurants and takeaways could do with offering this level of customer service. You will be delighted with the service and the quality and taste of the food. Just to Note the Family Naan bread is huge! And again tastes amazing. You simply will not be disappointed.

We called in quite late on a Thursday and the waiter was spot on and so was the service. The food was ok but not great. The tandoori mixed grill was a bit over cooked and dry and the meat was ok. The curries were again ok but nothing special. The garlic naan was superb. I think it could be good with some changes but not great for us this time.

This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant and takeaway for many years and I used to travel for 8 miles to collect a takeaway most weekends if we didn't eat in. Not been to the new location but have continued to have deliveries from them from here. Have to say the food is still spot on! They listen to my request of no corriander due to allergy and also listen to how I like the massala sauce and extra garlic on the naan's. Last delivery was slightly messed up when they sent the wrong starter, I rang and within 10 minutes they were back delivering the replacement. Can't fault them. Hope to go into eat very soon but in the meantime, I highly recommend their food as a takeaway 😘

I visited this restaurant recently with my family. The food was delightful & the staff were very hospitable. I would definitely visit again. I would recommend to anyone who Is in town and wants to try somewhere different and who would like to try Indian cuisine.

Came here last Friday and was expecting the same service as last year however i was really disappointed with the service, the manager had earplugs in and seemed unbothered. Food was great it was just the service that really let me down.

We would like to think that we are curry connoisseurs 😜. Been to a lot of different restaurants. We moored up near the harecastle tunnel and decided to pop into kidsgrove for a curry. We were recommended Arena by a customer that was standing outside. We took a chance and it was a good decision. Karen was brilliant and the food was fantastic. The lamb was so tender, fresh cauliflower in the bhaji and the channawalla was so tasty. Would thoroughly recommend. Unfortunately we were early and the restaurant was empty so I can’t give a great review on the atmosphere.

Honestly the delivery man was the best part and im sure staff are lovely. Forgot my redbull, offered one next time which was kind but wont be ordering there again. Ordered a burger and chips, genuinely cant explain more to you how horribly dry and rubbery the burger was, chips were cold and stodgy. Not just that, ordered a donut and was met with what tasted like a hard sponge soaked in sugar. Have never had a takeaway as expensive but horrible as that, seems like they make the food at the start of the week and use that🤢
