This place was so good but it burnt

Ordered two southern fried chicken and chips. Chicken didn't taste of anything remotely southern fried . It was dry and tasteless and the chips taste like they are just kept warm not happy at all

Brilliant service and amazing food best popadoms cannot fault them

The food was a bit poor. Staff were friendly but for the price I expected better. The ice cream in the milkshake tasted cheap, very watery. Couldn't really taste Oreo in the milkshake and when I did get to bite the single Oreo at the top it tasted like the cheap poor mans version. The cheese burger was ok. The kebab was quite dry and burnt. Most flavour was coming from the chilli sauce. The chips didn't taste fresh. It was quite difficult to get down. Tasted like leftovers had been microwaved. Overall the food seemed to have quite poor standards for the price.

Ordered for the first time from top nosh and hands down the best lamb jalfrezi, chicken kebab & pizza we’ve had in a long time. We try a new place every Saturday but will definitely return to these guys 10/10. Also suggested time was 45 mins and it was delivered in less than. Thanks guys 👍

Please don't waste your money ordering food from here! Food does not get delivered, when you ring to ask for your food or money back they do not want to know, if delivered by just eat they tell you to call them and take no responsibility at all. There are many food establishments around, i really advise to try somewhere other than here. Just being honest, money is tight for a lot of people and a take away is a treat for most, try somewhere more reliable and who care and take pride I'm their buisness.

Absolutely shocking! Ordered tonight and waited an hour. Called the shop and they advised it was just leaving. Delivered to the door only to find a kebab missing. They sent the missing one within 5/10mins. The steak was that hard I couldn’t even pull it apart, the chicken dry as a bone. It’s gone in the bin! Waste of money and won’t be using again.

10/10 chips perfectly fried. Pizzas were amazing dough was lovely and fresh. Spicy donner was great. The naans were perfectly charred. Overall great menu ant options to choose from. Delivery came on time.

Place just gets worse..ain't ordered for a while. £9 for a child size portion of chicken curry .add £4 for your rice and you'd be as well as eating at a restaurant with a decent portion. It was too salty to eat,lips were stinging after only 2 bites. It really has gone downhill . So that's it for us..off to find somewhere that treats us more than £££ signs .

Second time ordering, food this evening especially the lamb kebab, !! Shoe leather comes to mind with unpleasant taste. Waste of money. Will not use again.

Chicken strips with chips and chilli sauce is amazing.

Placed order at 6.45pm, food arrived at at 7.20 freezing cold, cheese wasnt melted on chips at all, stone cold. Rang to report only to be told I'll have to wait for new ones, no apology, it's now 8.33pm still no replacement, I've spent a lot of money here in the past, never again!

I am sorry to say this will be our last order with TOP NOSH. We have been regulars for 5 years and have enjoyed the food when they get the order right! Tonight's burned and flavourless lamb chops is the last straw unfortunately... I couldn't even contact them on their app to complain... They need to seriously up their game...

We are locals who order from here often and although the prices for portion size are decent, they are almost guaranteed to get your order wrong. After 3 years of giving them the benefit of the doubt, they still haven't managed to get our order right twice in a row...It's such a shame because they always try to correct the issue when it's wrong but it takes them over an hour just to deliver the chips they forgot to provide that you already paid for.....also their delivery times take ages, far longer than an hour. We've waited nearly 2 hours before and we literally live up the road from them. Would only order as a last option now - Expect a long wait and missing food.

The food when it arrives is alright........I order via the app and requested the items are wrapped separately to encourage the freshness of each item. However, with the exception of the fries all the items were packed together and were a soggy mess. The fries escaped this because they were not delivered.......To be fair I called and explained the problem and I received another delivery within 15 mins but all the items were still packed together but I had a portion of fries....... Despite this I'll give it another go and will edit my review accordingly.

Best Peri Peri Chicken in town by far! Always receive freshly made delicious food on time. Always served with a smile! Excellent overall!!

Food took 50mins plus to arrive, when it did food lukewarm, chips soggy as though they'd been reheated and kebab had no peppers, onion or mushrooms... Its not the first time this has happened but it WILL be the last... Value for money zilch...

Chicken although hot the outside was slimey not a bit of chrispiness at all. Chips were good cheese good donner meat was OK. Been having from here for 15 years but it seems all rushed nowadays

We have used this takeaway for over 10 years, great friendly staff and an excellent range of food available from the menu to suit all tastes. Delivery is also available locally. Used to do chicken kebabs now it's just chicken. Had one tonight and it had half a mushroom, 1 piece of pepper and 1 slice of onion. They pack it out with salad. Tasty food but awful value for money. Treat long time customers like mugs.

Order regularly never had any issues! Today on the otherhand I ordered.. the food came stone cold so I rang up to ask what was going on & if I can have my meal replaced the guy argued saying we were the only drop so it shouldn't be cold, I told him I order quite often and never had any issues so why would I be ringing to to complain. He then put the phone down on me! Rude!!!

I put my usual order through tonight via the web page. I just hit the duplicate button as as have done many times before with no problem. I ordered a curry with nan and chips. Unfortunately this was not what arrived. I was sent 2 portions of chips, and no curry. I called to explain that my curry was missing, and was told that i hadn't ordered one?? Clearly an error on their system but they refused to help. I usually order from them once a week, but sadly they have lost a customer. I ordered from another neighbouring resturant instead. The curry was even nicer and this is where I intend to order from in the future.

Ive read some of these reviews and have to say the negative feedback are untrue. Im a former driver of top nosh and have nothing but praise for the shop and the guys that work there. The food is fresh daily. Prepared and cooked properly. Nothing leaves the shop uncooked. The delivery is as fast as we can lawfully go. Unfortunately some customers give wrong adresses or arent ready to recieve there order so this has s knock on effect. I personally used to give s customer 3 chances after that they used to get delivered last so the good customers got their food piping hot. During the pandemic they stopped open to feed you. They sent out over 400 meals to the vunerable no other shop in our area can say they did there bit for the community. Keep up the good work guys. Youll all be missed and it will be strange being on the other side of the counter Neh neh neh neh neh

Ordered over the phone tonight, said 40mins arrived in 30mins knocked on door had placed it on our door step , social distancing done , my pizza and chips very nice and hot , other half had tandoori chicken and keema bread nice and hot and tasty

More oil than food! No sauce just oil Waist of money! Discusting!!! The guy who took the order didn't understand what we wanted on the order, brought the food grease all over the bag, the ink where they have writin to identify which item is which, had ran into the food. Requested no onions in the curry tasted like onion, luckily the person who consumed this food WAS NOT elergic to the onions Wish I could rate no stars.... I’m probably the worse food critic In the world but I would like too say that top Nosh is the best takeaway in stoke on Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme and trust me I’ve sampled my fair share of takeaways the curries and food is top quality complements too the chief even the delivery is fast and the staff behind the phone are friendly and helpful this place deserves 6 stars not 5

Ever since their head chef left the restaurant, the food has kind of gone down hill in my opinion and I have been going there for years.

Great food..curry is brill better than most resturants..mixed kebab is a belly buster .best for the money..delivery is very good ..but then i dont order at peak time when trafic is very heavy..and most of all.i allways tip the driver. So will be remembered !!

First and last time ordering from here. Worst takeout ive had in years. Ordered online, waited over an hour before ringing to chase order - was told driver was already on way. Took another 20 minutes before arrived. Live only 0.8mile from the takeaway, food arrived lukewarm because driver said had to do another drop first. Bottle of tango was missing and no replacement. Poor quality food, poor value for money and very poor overall service. If you want good quality and fast service - use Newcastle kebab House or Kebab City. AVOID THIS PLACE!

The delivery was not only late but the donner meat had mold on it if it wasn't mold then I have no idea what it was never going there again

We ordered chicken kebab in garlic nan bread and asked on the order for it to be well cooked. When it arrived the chicken was black but inside only just cooked,the peppers and mushrooms were raw. The doner kebab had GREEN dots of MOULD all over it. Look on Facebook other people have put photos on of the same thing. The free gift if its a pizza is tasteless, the chocolate cake has dry bits on it and the bottle of pop never even came. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Your health comes first

We have used top nosh on multiple times previously, but have always collected and not had an issue. On this occasion, because we'd had a couple of drinks, we ordered online for delivery. This was a Sunday evening at 8.45pm. I called at 10pm, to be told that the driver was stuck in traffic! Sunday at 10pm? They offered an £11 discount. The pizzas finally arrived at 10.20pm; over 30 mins after they should have arrived! When the driver got here he knew nothing about the discount. After calling the takeaway they said they would offer £3 off the cost of the order, I said this was not what was agreed over the phone previously and I'd give them £5 for it (1.50 more than the balance for the 11 discount) - given the 1hr 30 min wait. They complained at me down the phone, so I sent the pizzas back. Now they are getting nothing for the order and we won't be using them again!

Not much for it used to go there all the time but it has just gone down loads. They try there best so I mean fair play to them. But it is just not for me, I had it last night and the chips were hard, pepperoni was underneath the cheese for some reason and it was really cheesey.

I was on a day trip stayed one night. Google some where to eat and this place come up. It's the best kebab i ever had in 42 years from sue and stu from down south. X

We ordered the curry meal deal on Saturday night which is good value and in the past been very tasty. Unfortunately not this time Madras sauce was unseasoned and watery the chicken was tough, but the worst item was the lamb tikka starter! This had clearly not seen a tandoor oven tasted like stewing beef and was coated in some red sauce to give the impression of lamb tikka!!! For this act of food deception I will not be using this establishment again.

Usually I avoid takeaways that do a variety of different types of food but a friend recommended Top Nosh to us so we thought we'd give it a try. We opted for some Indian dishes and also for it to be delivered. The food was excellent, better than some local restaurants to be honest. Good quality meat used and sauces tasted fresh. Service was good with prompt delivery. Will use again.

Tonight called for just a midweek value box sat down and did not even finish the food, chips nothing like past, doner meat not even the same colour let alone taste, chicken headed for bin so fast. Has someone taken over this operation ???? Such a shame The food was perfect, have I just ordered on a bad night ???

Visito esta llevar regularmente. Tengo algunas peticiones raro para mi comida y nunca conseguí una vez equivocados! Siempre educado y amable, así que estoy feliz de sentarse y esperar por mi comida. He probado de todo, desde sus curris, hamburguesas, kebabs, patatas fritas, pizzas y pollo. No puedo criticar ni una sola cosa que he tenido. La cena en el kebab de naan es una maravilla y es una comida muy respetado por mi parte.
