Arrived before time piping hot. Great quality ingredients and large portions. Definitely the best Indian/Bangladeshi food in Northampton

The food is always fantastic from here and at a good price.

Food was abit bland and no spice at all. Tenderness of meat was excellent though. It was a shame.

Unfortunately not up to the usual standards from this restaurant, chicken tikka main only had 5 pieces of chicken in a much smaller than usual carton, naan bread burnt and curries, tikka and rice all with tons of onion and watery sauces.

Lovely food, very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Went for dinner, having not been for a while and were really impressed. Three of us went and took advantage of their special deal that gave a starter, main, rice or naan and a side for £13.95 each. The quality of the food was really good and we were all happy with our meals, feeling stuffed by the end. The staff were so friendly and service was brilliant. We will definitely be back to either eat in or for a takeaway.

It was ok! Not the best I’ve had from here but not the worst curry I’ve had. No drinks - the driver apologised and approved a refund straight away but if we had known they didn’t have them we would’ve went to the shop before it got there! But the food I’m afraid was cold and quite bland. I would order from here again because it was reasonably priced and I’ve had nice curry’s from here before

Great to find the updated Shahjahan is as good as it was. Curries delicious, service excellent, general atmosphere great.

Meat thali is meant to come with sheek kebab and chicken tikka... I got samosa and bhaji, bit of a let down as I would've otherwise ordered sheek kebab on the side! Could've contacted me if they were swapping out items.

The food was delicious, however, we ordered chips and4 poppadoms. We did not receive the chips and only received 2 poppadoms, which were crumbled into lots f tiny pieces when they arrived. Disappointing!

As it was our 4th wedding anniversary, I decided I wanted a takeaway. Shajahan 21 did not let us down. I asked for extra spicy Biryani and it was Jerry. Al the dishes were piping hot and delivered with a smile and a blessing to enjoy my meal from the driver. Thank you

Normally lovely from here although tonight the onion bhajis were inedible, had to throw them in the bin. The rest was lovely though

Cold, tasteless, will never come back

I tried staying away all week but being a Bradford lad I just couldn’t resist, as usual absolutely yum yum yum 😋😋😋, It’s definitely my weekly treat and regular 👌👌👌

Food was ok tasting but over an hour late and cold, very disappointing service

Taste and quality of the curries was good. Ordered waffles and the strawberry surprise came with a mound of white chocolate flakes when its meant to be chocolate sauce, no strawberries and no ice cream pots to go with the 3 waffles I ordered.

Food absolutely amazing, not oily and perfectly tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Always enjoy food from this place 🙂, don’t let the cheap prices put you off, amazing value for money, always on time or earlier and polite, it’s becoming my weekly regular 😊😊😂😂.

My food was not cooked properly. The waffle was still fresh/soft and had not even been cooked. The ice cream sundea had melted and was just a cup of cream so both items were uneatable. I would like a full refund. Thank you

Simon A Went out to Shajahan with friends, 8 of us, a couple of weeks ago- March 2023. Had an amazing experience. Was recommended by a friend and I’m glad I went there. Amazing customer service by a beautiful young lady always smiling. I had a chicken tikka masala with sag paneer and 2 keema nans. Best curry I’ve had. Highly recommend this place. 100 stars for me 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Upon ordering First time, this place became my favourite. Never heard of Shajahan but i was recommended by family and friends as they dine here regularly. Great food and polite staff. Many more orders to come.

I ordered chicken tikka dhansak and Chicken Tikka saag both of which The chicken was overcooked, hard and dry, the sauces were tasteless. Onion Baajee was okish. The mint yghurt was watery and tasteless too

Took almost 2 hours to arrive wen it did it wasn't even hot there was no omelette and was dry and tasteless wouldn't order again and advise any1 els not to terrible around

Have ordered from here before & it’s been lovely but the order I received last night was awful. Food was 30 mins late, driver rang as he was on our street but couldn’t find the property, he then walked about in the cold with our food for a further 5 mins until WE called him back to find out where he was! Lamb biriyani was missing the vegetable curry to go with it, the omelette it should have on top was a slice of boiled egg & the lamb was over cooked & really chewy. Everything was lukewarm & the poppadoms were broken into tiny pieces & were soft. Really disappointed, won’t order from here again

Recently moved house and was hesitant to order from a new place but wow, we have found a new favourite! This will be our go to every time. 10/10 incredible food.

There was a missing item from the order when it was delivered. I called the restaurant and they had a replacement sent within 15 minutes

First time trying out this takeaway. Despite busy inside atmosphere, great customer service and most importantly great food!

Food inedible. Clearly had been re-heated as had an inch of oil at the top of each container. Bhajees dripping in oil, couldn’t eat. Chips covered in black spots. Won’t be re-ordering again.

The order turned up 20 minutes later than the maximum time and they missed out a main dish, which then took another half an hour to get delivered so the rest of the food was cold by then and you can tell it had just been microwaved and we didn't get any sort of compensation for it

Very under par considering I've been using this restaurant for over ten years now. Mix grill was overly dry, naan bread was undercooked and doughy and the saag panneer was without the usuall creamy sauce and bland. Has the chef changed? We dis not enjoy our food this time 😵‍💫

Food was delayed by approx 30 mins. Food very tasty, particularly the garlic chicken naga. Would of rated 5 stars if there was more sauce and the persuari naan was softer. They also missed the salad of our 1/2 tandoori chicken which but did drop of within 10 mins.

The order and delivery was actually on the 17th of June at 11.05. I called the restaurant at 10.55, to ask where the order was. I ordered at 9.30. When the food arrived it was not very hot. The dhansak I ordered was very hot and spicy, not mild as I asked for it. There were only 5 prawns in it. The naan bread was hard and cold. It just had white garlic paste spread on the top. They gave me a plain naan, with garlic paste on top, not a gsrlic naan. I called the restaurant, and said I could not eat it. I was told that the restaurant shut at 11.00, so there was nothing that could be done that night. The man said that he would sort something out the next day (the 18th), and would call me back. He did not. I have saved the food for them. I am VERY disappointed in the restaurant. I would now like my money back. I have sensitive gums, which is why I asked for it mild. They have done it mild before, no problem. My gums are very red and sore. I went, as was seen by the dentist, on the 18th, as they are so bad. I feel that because they wanted to finish on time, they did not bother to read the instructions. The fact that they delivered so late was not my fault. I waited so long for the meal! I could not believe that I could not even eat it.

Absolutely love from this place the flavours in the food, the meat is always so juicy. Now has become my favourite curry house. I love that they also do stamps and can get your 6th meal cheaper 😀 highly highly recommend.

Good quality delivery and food service from shajahan restaurant. On time , chicken biryani tasteful,vegetable curry could do with abit more spice ( sorry not offence chef) but as a West Indian we do like our food well seasoned. Paratha and Nan bread taste wise abit floury and portions ok !!! Overall a good experience so will use again as long as Shajahan brings more spice _kg1production…
