They phoned me and I don’t know why

Avoid ordering from here using the website… ordered here Saturday evening, was taking ages for them to accept the order, partner rang them, they tell him that, that website doesnt work and gave him a different website to use…. They had already took the money out and now have to wait 3-5 days for a refund! We never did get a takeaway… if this company doesn’t use this website then why isn’t it removed!!! Quick to take the money, not quick to refund!

Had a takeaway one piece of chicken smelt rotten! 🤢 I rang the restaurant to tell them, the response was we will tell the boss.... unfortunately it has put me off a curry for a long time! The chicken was cooked throughout so I would say the chicken was off. The smell was awful! Do not recommend!!

The best Indian in Northampton by far.Very friendly staff,they will alter any dish for you,and Mo the owner is such a gent. Highly recommend.The dhansak is absolutely stunning,as is the vindaloo.

I dont know what has happened to the original chef, but, euwgh, the mint and cucumber sauce for the poppadoms and the chicken biryani, tasted awful. No flavour or spices. Come back the original chef. Expensive mistake. Binned most of it. Delivery was good though.

We used Headlands Spice a lot during lock down but it has gone down hill since then. We had 2 mains with rice, a side and 2 poppadoms last night and it came to £47! Twice the price of our now regular curry delivery and not as good quality. Paid an extra £4.00 for chicken tikka in the madras and don't think we got it........won't be back in a hurry sadly.

Not the best vegetable curry without rice £9.70 very dissatisfied

I had a chicken bhuna, it was very tasty dish but very poor on quantity. The take away container was only half full

We had Chicken Bhuna and Vegetarian Korma with paneer added, and the mushroom fried rice. The whole meal was gorgeous! The flavours were fantastic and the Korma was lovely and creamy. The bombay potato was a free extra and also delicious.

First time have ever been but will be my third visit in 7 days .Delicious food fast and reliable .I collect so have no idea about the delivery service

Was recommended to try this place by a friend, and I'm glad I did. The food was excellent, mains rice and sides all amazing. Thoroughly recommend trying this place if you ever want a curry. ☆☆☆☆☆

Worst curry ever, all we could taste was salt. Took the first one back and made the bloke taste it and he spat it out in front of us. . They made us another one which still tasted like salt, won’t be having anything from there again 🤢🤮.

I ordered a Saturday evening takeaway for my family at 6:30. The total value of the order was over £50. Most Indian takeaways would Chuck in a freebie or 2 for such a high value order but the only thing headlands spice chucked in was the most horrendous service level ever. My estimated delivery time was 7:30-7:50. At 8pm we were still waiting so I phoned and was told that the order was on its way to us and would arrive very soon. By 8:20 still no sign of it so I phoned again to be told that it had 100% definitely left them and was winging its way to me. By 8:40 it still hasn’t arrived so I phoned again only to be told ‘oh we made a mistake, it left here 10 minutes ago. I explained that I wasn’t happy and they said they would get the manager to phone me back the following day. The food finally arrived at 8:55. We were missing our onion bhajis and our red sauce for the pappadums. I didn’t bother phoning back as I knew the manager was going to phone me (or so I thought) 3 days later, no call, so I phoned back again and was told ‘manager isn’t here, I’ll ask him to phone you tomorrow. Wait until the following Saturday, one week after the initial order and still no phone call so I phone and ask for the manager and all he says is. ‘Well yes, we were very busy’. I explained that I accept the order taking long if they’re busy but being lied to twice isn’t acceptable. All he offered me was that if I ordered directly with them (original order was though uber eats) he would give me 20% off. I explained that having waiting a week for his call, that being all he was willing to offer me was very very poor, but he didn’t care. He said ‘I offer all my other complaints 10% off so you’re lucky I’m offering you 20%. What a shocking attitude. I will never be ordering from here again and advise everyone else to also do the same. Most Indian restaurants offer customer service that is second to none but this place is just awful. On a side note, food was OK, but I could not ever get past this shocking experience to order from here again

I have just had a meal delivered from Headlands Spice, the establishment is about 400 yards from my house, the meal was cold! How could they do this? I would certainly never use this firm again. I know gas prices are high at the moment but this is ridiculous, I wonder if they have been cut off!

Quite frankly the best curry I’ve had In a long time. Delivery with a smile and the chef’s specials are something else. My new favourite takeaway. I would have taken photos but I ate it way too quick. Prawns were top notch and so was the mixed sizzler! 🤤

I HAVE USED HEADLANDS TANDORI FOR 18 MOUNTH BUT LAST NIGHT WHEN I ORDED MY FOOD AND IT WAS DELIVERD THEY FORGOT TO PUT IN ONE OF MY CURRYS I ORDERD AND AT THIS TIME I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SO I DECIDED TO GO TO THE HEADLANDS SPICE TAKE AWAY PERSONALLY AND WHEN I GOT THERE I NOTICED THAT THE PERSON WHO WAS TAKING ORDERS DID NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH VERY WELL BECAUSE HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS SAYING AND THEN THE MANAGER CAME OUT TO ME AND HE WAS SHOUTING AT ME AND THREATENING BY SAY SAYING SHUT UP OR ILL BEAT YOU ENNIT !!! ITS NOT MY FAULT HES STAFF CARNT HARDLY SPEAK ENGLISH IS IT ... I HAVE NOW REPORTED THE MANAGER TO THE POLICE AND I AM WAITING TO GIVE A STATEMENT .. BE CAREFULL PEOPLE THIS BECAUSE THEASE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW BUT TRUST ME THEY ARE NOT .....

Always good quality food. Never had a problem from this place delivery is on time and perfect. Love the vegetarian options, there is something for everyone. We always order from their app which almost always has an offer on. We always go here due to the good food and the excellent service.

Just tried this place for the first time. Ordered a delivery and received it within the hour as promised. The dishes we had were clearly freshly cooked and tasted delicious. I asked for extra garlic and got it. The meals were outstanding. I think we’ve just found our new regular..

Really good food served here at a reasonable price.

Needed something for a birthday meal for 6 adults and decided to order from here for the first time. Some regular curry eaters in our party so they knew what they wanted and the order was placed. The food arrived at the requested time, it was hot and well packaged. As we tucked in, it was agreed around the table that the meals were delicious, the curries were not too spicy, the chutney were all tasty, the nan bread were moist and fresh and the samosas were great. There were also a bag of salad each, which gave a nice contrast to the curry and an additional dish extra had been thrown in of some Bombay Potatoes which were yummy. Now I’m not a big curry eater, but I have to say, I really enjoyed my meal and so did the others, in fact the curry eaters all said they had not eaten better, which is some accolade. Suffice to say, our bellies were all full, after a few drinks, we called it a night, but you can be sure we’ll be calling here for another banquet before long.

Headlands Spice is definitely our "go to" takeaway for a curry, because the food is consistently good and comes at a reasonable price. They are really local to us, so we collect, but they do have a delivery service, too.

Absolutely the best India Takeaway in Northampton. We are vegetarian and the selection is brilliant, especially the Dansak, Sag Paneer & Tarka Dhall, We love it!!

Spent £70 on a food order for family and it arrived with one dish completely wrong. The dansak didn’t taste like a normal damask either. It was far too bitter and too bland. I will not be ordering from them again.

Although delivered late we were advised so not a problem but food was slightly cold on arrival and needed to be reheated. Food was OK, really nice Naan bread and poppadoms included, korma could have benefited from a little more flavour but plenty of it. Would use again. Cockney rebel

Absolutely can’t fault them! Usually like to mix my Indian up a bit but have found a perfect blend from Headlands and had it three times in a row, it’s that good! Need to snap from that and try some more but absolutely can’t fault. Great food in quick time! Highly recommend!

prompt delivery, reasonably priced. the vegetable Byriani was delicious, but the Lentil curry and garlic mushrooms we had was very watery and unfortunately tasted of burnt garlic. I would order from here again, just wouldn’t get the lentil curry or garlic mushrooms . Delivery man was friendly too

Consistent great food! Great veggie options, all curries can be made vegetarian which is great, sagaloo is my favourite. Never order a curry from anywhere else, this place is fantastic! Reasonably priced. Only downside is sometimes takes longer to deliver than expected, but food is always hot and to a great quality so it’s worth the wait.

I was disappointed with the food, the dish I ordered was basically just in something similar to a packet of white sauce from the supermarket, the same for my daughter's butter chicken, more descriptions with the dishes pls, I would not of ordered what I did had I known, very poor indeed

Best chicken tikka massala available on just eat in Northampton. Their passanda is great too.
