My go to. Great value and Naga is amazing!

Took over an hour and half for the food to be delivered, 3 items were missing from the order (onion bhaji, chicken chat and keema naan). I rang the restaurant and the man who answered said they’d send the missing items out, they never did. The food itself lacked flavour and the lamb bhuna only had 2 bits of lamb in. Very disappointing and I would advise not to order from here.

£18.97… £9.15 for 5 dry pieces of chicken in sauce £4.95 for a half filled egg fried rice £3.75 for half sized nan bread £0.95 for a crushed papadum (bottom of the bag!) Expensive not so healthy treat for the dog

To make this unbias and fair, I left it about a year to leave this review and had around 20-30 takeaways from Shahjalal in that time. Let me start by saying these guys produce some of the best tasting curries/dishes I've ever tasted in Indian Cuisine. I've not had one poor dish, not one! The presentation of the dish, even in the metal containers is great, the attention to detail is second to none. The delivery is always or ahead of time, every time. The costs are very reasonable for the quality you get. I wont be using anyone else again other than Shahjalal! Thank you a million guys, and keep doing what you're doing. Liam H.

I've ordered many times from this place and the only thing I've had a problem with is the size of the portion of chips it's tiny for the price. Its the only thing that needs sorting. Great food great prices apart from the chips haha.

By far the best curry in Coventry, been ordering for a while now and always top draw. Struggled to find a good curry on delivery for ages and this is as good as it gets. Loyal customer and order every weekend.

Disappointing take away curry! Tried this venue for first time. Chicken tikka bhuna curry with a tandoori roti Average mild curry sauce not thick or spicy as described on menu. Small portion of chicken cubes! Counted 5 one of which had the dreaded fat like grizzle through it. Can never understand why takeaways put so little meat in their curry. Give a good portion and folk will return. Unfortunately one star rating and I will look to adopt a new takeaway elsewhere in Coventry. 👎

If you Indian don’t bother asking them to make desi curry They haven’t got clue , they will just sprinkle red chilli on dish and they put sugar in naans 🤮🤯

Lovely food, and always on time with delivery. Found this place a while back and we will not order from any where else now. 10 out of 10

Terrible, what a shambles! Ordered lamb madras, nothing but oil, fatty lamb, inedible. Ordered lamb samosas, recieved tiny frozen shop bought samosas. Ordered rice, never recieved. The chips were old and cold. When called to complain the man on the phone was extreamly rude and said non of it was their fault! Avoid this infested place! Full of utter disappointments!

I order from here frequently and not once has the food been anything less than brilliant. Everything's full of flavour and the extras like chips are spot on aswell.

Very poor service , waited 85 mins for delivery , some food was good the rest was mediocre . Would not use again

omg we had a lamb karai and it wasnt lamb i not sure what it was it was hard an chewy unedable we through all in bin the other curry was bland and horrible to

This place is the best I've had, all the food was on point, chicken was delicious, chips were perfectly seasoned. Cannot fault them atall, customer service was very good 👌 will definitely be coming again

Had a large order placed with Shahjalal Knight. The service and customer service was first class and the food was amazing. Ordered several different mains and sides and every dish was spot on. Definitely the best Indian curry place in town.

Food is of a different level here. Had saag prawn, lamb and chicken. Absolutely stunning, can't fault at all.

Always order from here. Chicken Madras is beautiful. Chicken is always tasty & succulent. A++ For Service.
