disappointed. ordered a meal for the family including a donner kebab. menu states 'all kebabs served with salad and sauce' received a tray of donner meat only. some family members ate. complained and still waiting for an actual donner kebab! family meal ruined!!

Big thank you to Mrs Shaheen who served us for our takeaway. Used to go here regularly many years a go . Live in Lancashire now, but went today . Got chicken bhuna for me and my wife. Fantastic.

Shami kebab was very dry like eating cardboard and mayo was off never again.

Ordered chicken korma cold very spicy we also ordered a cheeseburger and chips chips were cold and burger bun was hard a few days old the lot went in the bin not happy and won’t be ordering again

First visit and definitely won’t be the last the lovely lady who cooked our food guaranteed are kebab would be special and let me tell you now it did not disappoint think we have found our new favourite spot for a cheat day treat authentic cookery at a reasonable price and the portions did not disappoint Thankyou ever so much keep up the good work cheers 👍

Best curries I've had in a while on Thursday night,. chicken jalfrezi and lamb karahi were both amazing, along with the onion bhajis and thank you for the complimentary chapatis! Driver was friendly as always.

Where do I start, freezing cold on arrival. Naan bread was rock hard and inedible. The yogurt sauce was pointless, it has the consistency of water and wouldnt even stick to the food making the already dry food horrible to eat. Everything was hard, like it was stale. Every single mouth full needed water to get down. Biggest waste of £26

Driver was so rude! Said not to order again as it was too far to deliver. Had to call up and complain about him, if it’s too far don’t take the order.

Curry and onion bhaji were lovely (best bhaji around). However the poppadom had to be thrown away; when you can bend one in half without it snapping, something isn't right!

Sub standard food. Ordered garlic naan bread and one with raisins came instead. My shami kebab was so dry and no mint sauce with it, normally comes with starter everywhere I've been. Main was ok only reasons why I gave 2 stars but says should of come with 2 free chapattis that's also never came! Would of phoned up but naan that came was also dry and more like a giant pitta bread so instead wrote this review. Rubbish

I ordered 2 vindaloos that came in what appeared to be a watery korma sauce with a couple of chopped green chillis thrown in. The naan was just thin and greasy! I ordered fried rice and I got plain. Shami kebab was dry and had no taste and the prawn puri was the same sauce as the vindaloo. Such a disappointment. But it did come on time. Chips were ok. That’s about it.

We order from here all the time and tonight’s order was just not good enough and I have never had a problem with the food before. I rang up kindly to inform them of this and got spoke to very rudely and laughed at. If this is how you speak to your loyal customers I am disgusted.

Naan bread lovely mixed kebab had 4 small pieces of chicken in, and no chilli sauce with it at all in fact no sauce whatsoever? Lamb spring rolls were delicious though

In my opinion this is the best curry i have every had you will never taste anything like this Absolutely Addicted had my first taste of curry here years ago. I been to restaurants all over but this lovely lady is the master she makes my taste buds dance please try this place its the best.

The food came far too late. When it came it was tasteless and tasted like it was out of a jar. Would not recommend and avoid at all costs.

Food is good, but the bhajis are disappointing as they taste like they have been reheated. Which is a shame as Shaheen takeaway was renowned for great bhajis.

Turned up a hour late and food missing

Awful customer service, over an hour late! When I called multiple times I got hung up on then to top it off when the food finally got delivered I got told ‘this place is to far for you, order somewhere around here’ what an awful experience! Food was also stone cold and tasted awful.

Our order was accepted and scheduled for delivery between 20:40 and 21:00, but it didn’t arrive until 22:20. I phoned the takeaway 3 times, and every time they said the driver was 1 minute away.

The currys i get from here are so nice to me this is one of the best curry places in Huddersfield the taste is to die for im hooked would have one everyday if i could superb.

Really nice Peshwari Naan but Karahi was really sweet and unfortunately took an hour longer than originally estimated.

Beautiful food, have sampled a few different meals and they do taste different unlike some places were everything tastes the same. Aloo paratha is very nice.

Really lovely food but the portion of chicken saag was very small; not worth £7.50 I am sure it was double this size last time I ordered which was only a matter of weeks ago.

Order arrived late with some items cold. The chicken tikka and chips consisted of 4 small pieces of chicken on chips. Not worth the price paid.

This used to be the place to go for a takeaway curry. It is a shadow of its former self. We have given them the benefit of the doubt over the last four visits, but each time we have got home , items have been missing from our order. The food is still decent, but I hate being ripped off. This was our last visit. I feel sorry for the lady who has been there for years but when you ring to tell them things are missing, they go defensive. Sad.

Food was never delivered. Waited 2 hours after being told food would be 35-50 minutes, when I phoned the shop I was told the driver had already delivered it, when I denied this she asked if I was sure. Later in the conversation she asked for my order again, I said I would prefer a refund rather than starting again considering I had already waited 2 hrs. She took my contact number and said she would speak to the driver and update me, half an hour later I had heard nothing so phoned again. I was then informed the driver had delivered it (not to my house and I have received no phone calls) she then asked what I wanted her to do? I asked for a refund due to already waiting 2 and a half hours she said 'I cannot help contact just eat, thank you bye' very poor service, no food delivered so could not rate food.

The kebab only had 5 pieces of donnor meat on it, no mayonnaise, it took 25 mins to get delivered when it said that the driver was in his way so the food was cold

I would expect to get more meat and more than a few bits of cucumber in a naan kebab. What was there was tasty I just think there could have been a bit more of it.

we ordered Naan Donner kebabs and received Pitta Donner kebabs.

Disappointed no sauce came with the 2 starters.
