Shaan in Sheffield

Long term customer. Used this place for over 10 years. Since it was taken over I have had both my orders cancelled with no reason 😔

Arrived bang on time and still hot! Great amount of detail in the descriptions so you know what you're getting (e.g. which dishes have onions). Great quality chunk of lamb in the rogan josh. Enjoyed everything we ordered

a bit of naan and one of popadoms tasted funny but rest was very nice

The Shaans special was absolutely terrible. Just dry mince. Was like eating dog food.

Second time I've ordered from this place... both times have been terrible! No flavour to the Tika masala, the madras had no flavour but tonnes of spice (I have a very high threshold for spice but this was just inedible), the paneer had 3 pieces of paneer in it and the naans were undercooked. Should have never given them a second chance.

Lovely food and staff, however they forgot to put the chapati in the bag.

Also...You didn't deliver one of my items. It was the poppadom so not very important. However, as it wasn't delivered, but I did pay for it and the delivery took quite a bit longer than initially stated, so I can't give you a good rating. This was my first just eat experience The delivery person was lovely though

I was dumb and accidentally ordered my food to be delivered to the wrong address. The driver was very nice and drove to the other side of Sheffield to deliver it to me still hot. Im still sorry about that

Great onion bhajis - crispy all the way through, with no uncooked mixture in the centre. Just as you would wish for them to be. The mint sauce was good too. The paneer tikka masala was very satisfying - I initially thought that it didn't look creamy enough to be a tikka masala, but it was very tasty. It could have done with a little more paneer, but not a big complaint when it was such a good price. The peshwari naan was a generous size and well filled. Just what I fancied, and I'll definitely order from here again. Thanks!

Beautiful starters are on the bone Tandoori, so soft & main lamb dopiaza meat so soft, however let down as NO RICE delivered!!! And paid on the order.

Food quality has really deteriorated. It has been a few months since our last order but the difference in quality is very disappointing. There are much better restaurants and takeout choices in Sheffield, time to move on!

The onion bargies were solid must gave been cooked 3 times. The shaabs special used to be fantastic, today was horrid £9.60 I have thrown it away. The sauces were fizzy... not normal Really bad shaans sort it it.

Ordered medium spice curry one was so hot no one would eat it, the chicken felt a little under Cooked as I chewed it, bhaji was greasy and no flavour, yogurt mint sauce tasted like sour milk, I ordered jus last week and it was lovely, dont know what went wrong this time

Lamb tikka biriyni was good, but good job it was for my son as far to spicy

The lamb in the madras melted in the mouth, everything was really tasty and arrived hot. Generous portions of high quality food. We will definitely be ordering from you again! Thank you for the Christmas card too!

Lovely starters, the naan bread was a bit tough and dry and one of the currys was very sweet, which was odd. However, great service and would definitely try again.

SO TASTY! Our order came so much earlier than expected and was piping hot. Absolutely delicious and the pickle tray pots are a good size, we also got lots more poppadoms than we ordered. 10/10 thank you!

Indian is my favourite cuisine and this was easily the best I've ever had. Very authentic, high quality, fresh and delicious food.

I have had many Shanna in the past but I was a little disappointed with this one , it was a bit watery and not very warm. I will order again but expect a return to better food or I will try elsewhere.

Just had a wonderful meal from Shaan. Starters, mains, breads etc. Very tasty in lovely thick sauces and full of meat. Will definitely be back to try loads of different dishes. Well worth a shout on a cold wet December night !!!

An hour and half for delivery and disappointed with the food tonight. Naan very dry and bitty, and the lamb dish was quite salty. Not usual standard

The food was lovely but I expected a plain curry sauce with my meal and got a vegetable sauce so I will probably order something different.

Slight delay in delivery time but it was prime time Saturday night! Food was spot on.

Food is absolutely unreal , however charged £2 for making curry sauce and masala spicy I thought was abit tight , considering we have been customers for yrs . But like I said that is the only criticism.

Nicest curry I've had in a while!

We’ve ordered 2 starters 2 mains and 2 naan bread £28.00 no rice I thought it was expensive however we didn’t mind as we were both looking forward to a taste sensation, oh no we were very disappointed no flavour very little meat in the dishes small portions, we will not use Shaan again .

Previous order of practically the same food from a couple of weeks ago was really nice. This time it was not of the same standard. Chicken poor texture, not well seasoned. Pilau lacking in colour and flavour, practically boiled rice. Naan was not up to scratch either. Inconsistent so don't think I'll bother again.

Delivery driver didn’t seem to read the instructions I left, but I went and met them at the gate. Again, delicious food, another satisfied customer!

Food was so oily and salty and the Poppadoms were soft and soggy
