A hidden gem. I had a wonderful beef dinner today at sgubor teile. The welcome was as ever first class.A group of local people walking a near by footpath and we received a typical Downes welcome.Extremely flexible with dietary requirements and tolerant of walking gear followed by a good meal and scrumptious puddings.A good start to the New Year

Recently taken over by new Managment and looking a bit better Felinfoel brewery so stocks their beers which were good Brewery need to spend a bit as inside looking a bit tired Hope they improve as Aberaeron needs more proper pubs rather than another gastropub tapas restaurant A couple of regulars also bit rough

Easter Sunday menu was somewhat reduced to that on line and the nut roast was no longer available at 2-30 as they had been extremely busy on Easter Saturday. The welcome and service could not have been better. The roast brisket and shoulder of lamb were delicious.Would have liked a little more kale but there was more than enough on the plate. The summer pudding finished a lovely meal in a special location !

This is a cash only place. We didn't eat here in the end, it needs a good clean and the guy serving needs to remove his half scratched off black nail varnish and clean his nails not what you want to see prepping your food.

I had a very disappointing experience at Beach Hut. I ordered chips and beers, and ended up waiting a long time at the table without any drinks, while people who had ordered after me were already being served. Eventually, I had to ask about my order, only to be told they had forgotten the beers altogether. The chips were absolutely awful – incredibly greasy, soft instead of crispy, and tasted old. Honestly, they were the worst chips I’ve ever had in my life. On top of that, the children’s portions are ridiculously small, especially when it comes to the meat. To make matters worse, the man serving was unfriendly and clearly doesn’t treat people fairly. I certainly won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
