Nice enough restaurant. Had an amazing starter, something made with onions . Main lamb skewers were nice but too much plain rice. Worth a visit

We went there for a birthday party, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, and we felt so warmly welcomed by the lovely staff. They have this special dish called Kalleh Pacheh, and it was incredible! It tasted so fresh and brought back such nostalgic memories of my childhood. And the bread – oh, the bread! They bake it right in front of you, and it was just like a dream. We are so grateful for their amazing service.

Saturday 1st June 2024!!! The guys (the staff!) at this restaurant are very dishonest with their menu! Please be aware of what you order and eat at this con restaurant !!! For breakfast we had ordered 2 full Kaleh Pacheh with gravy and Nun! However, when the Kaleh Pacheh were brought to our table we immediately noticed that they were from opened 2 identical tins. The ready made foods from either Parss or Anjoman ready made food distributing companies! When we asked the con staff to present us with the actual head skulls and jaw bones, they gave us all sorts of excuses! That's how you can catch them out!!! Therefore, please be aware of what you order there! Asked them if you can see the bones of the head (Skull) and Jaw of the Kaleh Pacheh! Don't be naive and gullible, if they told you that they had cooked them night before, and prepare them for the day that you have gone there!!! Please inform everyone about this restaurant (Senator Restaurant)! You are going to get tin food!!! Inform the relevant authorities, if you have been conned by them! Try to ask before you order and don't be bullied or intimidated by the staff! You can always call the local police, if they tried to be rude and physical!!! Don't let them con you and get away!!!

I don't wish to give you a 1 star but if you are charging customers £13.50 for a portion of gheyme then atleast make sure the container has a fair amount of food in it to justify the price paid. there was less than half the container of gheyme and it was dry. my order came to over a £100 but it caused alot of embrassment in front of my guests so I may order from elsewhere next time.

the food was cold and the rice and meat was not cooked. and it was late and food was cold. waste of money

Didn’t deliver what had been ordered and left 1 person without food. The restaurant had been exceptionally rude and so casual about their mistakes. Avoid!

Ordered sabzi polo ba mahi (fish & rice) and for nowruz they did a sabzi polo instead of plain rice so they lovely staff called and asked which one I wanted. It was literally amazing, thank you

TahDig was burnt and I had to throw it away ! Their food quality is getting lower evey day unfortunately!

Top notch delivery and notification of it. The food arrived hot , portions of rice is great, kebab portions could be slightly bigger. The koobideh has breadcrumbs mixed which makes it tougher and more elastic that it should be and can taste more meaty. But chicken and cheese was perfect.

Have had excellent food from here before. Don't know what happened this time, but chicken was bland, kebab was tasteless & the cold starters were dry & bland.

The food was mistakenly delivered to number 26. We live next door at number 28. This was my error when ordering. However, when delivered to my neighbour, your driver would have been directed next door since the order and name on the receipt was different. Why did they simply not walk 3m to our house door and deliver the order as requested rather than return and not deliver the food! Please look into this and provide a response and refund since we did not receive our order which is incorrectly marked as delivered when it was not!! Regards, Marcel

Excellent and authentic Persian food. Definitely a thumbs up from me. I tried their bamia as well just to test and it’s well done (oilier than the way I make it but still delish)!

I order from them regularly. On this occasion both the koobideh and bone on chicken were too dry.

Food from here always tasty. Well packed and always hot.

Not as good as normal. Bread was shop bought. No where near as nice as their homemade. Chicken was dry and lamb a bit overdone

Excellent food! Excellent service! Ordered a very large selection of dishes. Food came piping hot and was absolutely delicious. 1 side salad was missing, called up the restaurant and let them know. They apologised and sent a delivery driver to my house bringing the missing side salad! Never seen a restaurant go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy and gets what they paid for. Stunning customer service! I will definitely be ordering again! 5/5!

Salad Olivieh tastes sour with some herbs in it, which was different from what I used to order.I ordered 4 of them and threw them in the bin, they taste absolutely horrible....not going to order from the Senator again.

Everything else was great such as rude chicken wings and salad ! But The skews of koobideh was over cooked I wish I could upload pictures and the mince meat had a smell !

Ordered for delivery at a specific time and it arrived close enough so was very happy with that. Food was good and decent portions. Reasonable value. With free delivery and discount promo the exact order worked out over 20% cheaper than the other delivery service.

Horrendous food… Taste was awful both rice and meat. Through it away.

Greasy, oily and cheesy/crème added to things without mentioning them in the ingredients break down. The salad was nice, the rest mostly got binned due to the gags reflex when trying to eat anything. Avoid.

Food was delicious, freshly cooked tender meat, perfectly cooked saffron rice and lovely salad.

The food was up to the usual consistent standard. It was Just Eat who failed me. They sent me a text message and order confirmation one day after the meal was consumed!

I was surprised to see my food coming 30min earlier! Then I realised it wasn't fresh! I was craving for a fresh basic salad and it smelled really wrong; like 5 days in the fridge kind of wrong. I'm dissapointed. I will ask for a refund.

Second time ordering from here. Food is satisfying although meat portions were smaller than the first order. Still, good food and very fast service. Desserts (ice cream, noodle) are delicious.

Decent food, a bit on the bland side, but better than being over-spiced. Meat portions are not that big but there's plenty of rice. Delivery was extremely fast, but as it's a running restaurant, they must have hot food ready to go. Overall, not memorable but not bad at all.

Fantastic, fresh food. There was a slight mistake, the first one in the many years I've eaten here, and they were very understanding and sent out the correct item straight away, and it was here very quickly, freshly cooked. Couldn't ask for better service, and looking forward to next time.

Usually I get the best food from senator but today I had the most rubbish food Eva !!! Unbelievably £15 for a meal and they gave you the old food !!!!!!!!!! Not gone order from here anymore !!!!! Ive also requested for extra onion and they didn’t even bothered!!!

Very happy with our first order - everything arrived warm, fresh, and was tasty! Only negative thing to say is that for £6.50 the Paneer Sabzi is too expensive to order again.

Had asked for a 18:15 delivery. Food was delivered at 17:45. Therefore food was cold by the time family members were ready to eat. Quality was very good though.

Ordered 4 portions of koobideh kebebas. While the delivery was quick and arrived on time, the quality of the food compared to other local Persian restaurants was sub-standard. The kebabs were dry, and were really heavy on onions rather than meat. First and last time I'll order here I'm afraid.

Tasty food was only disappointed that they swapped my request the oliveih salad with hummus as we don’t like hummus.

Rice was uncooked, green pepper was uncooked. Kebab was hard and over cooked.

Quality is right up there but please dont be stingy with rice portions

The chello kabab Ghafghazi portion was small .lots of rice but few pieces of meat and no taste at all .however zeresh polo with rice was really good .I just didn't expect from senator serving that kind of kebab.abit disappointed

The koobideh wasn't the best. And the white sauce (kashk) on the "kashko badenjan" was definitely off( I hope it wasn't the whole thing ) so never had the starter. The Chenjeh was good and the rice was generous.

Order came with missing item. Phone to the restaurant, but all they said is to claim from just eat. I would stress this is not the first time missing item came. But always get the refund back though. A bit disappointed when you want to eat something but not come with order
