Good food and relaxed atmosphere. Authentic Portuguese food. Can also pop in for a bica (expresso) and pastry. It is a worth a try if you live in the area.

Attentive staff. Can`t fault this place. Food is delicious and fresh. Owner makes you feel welcomed.

Comida excepcional, de alto nivel. El personal es extremadamente agradable, no podía hacer más por mis nietos pequeños. Porciones generosas. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

Ayer visité este lugar realmente agradable. El servicio fue muy bueno, la comida era realmente deliciosa! El salmón era fresco, la porción grande, ensalada y papa también estaban deliciosas! ¡Volveremos! ¡Gracias y buena suerte! ¡Con 14 - 15 libras obtienes carne / pescado, ensalada y papa / arroz! ¡Bien por Londres!

Lo mejor de este restaurante es un servicio. Fueron muy amables. El restaurante es amigable, pero el plato era una extraña mezcla de comida.

Not worth the money u pay, food not fresh and owner lacking of customer service. Instead of accommodating customer request he just was creating more issues,table for 12, food horrible, overcharged and not even alllowed is to blow birthday candles, never again

Last night first time back to somewhere last visited regularly 6 - 8 years ago. Family run restaurant offering excellent home cooked, mainly grilled fish and meat, dishes. Had mussels starter and pork fillet main.

Platos bien presentados, con mucho sabor y sabor espectacular. Lo recomiendo 100% si quieres disfrutar de una buena comida o cena.

Visité este lugar el sábado pasado. Fácil de aparcar después de las 6. 30 p. M. Trajo recuerdos de los restaurantes en Portugal acogedor, amable, excelente servicio, grandes porciones de comida y un televisor para que pueda escuchar o ver entretenimiento. Muchas fotos en la pared de Madeira de donde vienen los dueños. Incluyendo la pista de aterrizaje del aeropuerto muy inusual. La comida se servía fresca. Nos llevamos algo de nuestra comida ya que no pudimos terminarla. Buena relación calidad-precio y buen lugar para conocer gente portuguesa. Definitivamente volveré para probar el resto del menú?

Finalmente conseguí alrededor a ir para otra cena el viernes y tenía otra excelente fiesta. El arranque fue en realidad Flameantes portuguesa salchichas conjunto descienda (ver foto). Mejillones de mi mujer estaban deliciosos. Para los platos principales compartimos una parrillada mixta que era carne, filetes filetes de pechuga de pollo, chuletas de cordero y chuletas de cerdo con patatas fritas, arroz y ensalada. Tuve brandy y café y chocolate moose ella tenía. Una pinta de cerveza rubia y jarra de vino de la casa vino a £69. 30 para nosotros dos. Tuvimos que coger algo de comida en el perrito bolsa trasera es la más inusual conmigo alrededor.Un restaurante familiar agradable limpio que es más "En Madeira" que la mayoría de los que visitamos en Madeira, mientras que en vacaciones allí el año pasado. Recomendado.

Io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo trasferiti da poco a Londra e sotto casa abbiamo trovato questo ristorantino. Beh, che dire...ottimo! Consigliata carne alla griglia, accompagnata da un ricco contorno!

Il locale presenta specialità portoghesi di carne e pesce, consigliate le pietanze alla griglia. Una nota di pregio va ai vini in lista che sono ottimi.

Estaba hospedado en el hotel de enfrente. No querer ir muy lejos llegué al otro lado de la calle a Selmo. Este es un pequeño restaurante familiar portugués, nada "sin duda no es pretencioso, pero que sirve buena comida saludable a un buen precio. Yo tenía el carbón mezclado con cerdo y cordero kebabs/salchichas que venía con patatas fritas, arroz y ensalada. Había suficiente para 2! Hablador, un ambiente animado. Yo estaba en mi propia y que estaba bien. Las cervezas locales, servicio amable. Buena selección de postres y pudines. Sin duda regresaría de nuevo.

Me alojé en un hotel, literalmente al otro lado de la calle, y no se habían dado cuenta de este restaurante. Después de dos noches de comida rápida estaba desesperado por alguna comida y luego de alguna manera apropiada de repente noté estaba bajo mi nariz todo el tiempo.

Restaurante local que había oído era bueno. Intenté yo, buena comida, servicio y música en una noche de sábado. Tuve el besugo, que era muy sabroso, si tienen la paciencia para vadear las espinas pequeñas. Sólo un pequeño restaurante y se puede alquilar para 50 como un lugar privado. Volveré.

Have visited this restaurants a few times and it is by far the best Portuguese restaurant in London, by far. The food tastes exactly the same way as it does in any restaurant in Portugal, so if you miss home or want to try new flavours, Selmos is the place to go.

The food is really tasty and homemade, conserving the original and traditional portuguese flavor. The portions are big and the price is good for what you end up eating. Staff is friendly. The only thing I can point out its the waiting time.

Mis colegas y yo lo Usan constantemente Selmos para reuniones, Catch-ups y a menudo recogida sándwiches para ir allí.

Este lugar es realmente encantador. La comida es muy buena y no muy caro. Los bocadillos son realmente bueno si estás en un presupuesto. Me hace sentir un poco como estoy en Portugal.

We stopped here midweek for an early lunch: omelette, chips and salad. The owner was most welcoming and the food was very good indeed. Obviously a popular place with locals, it was busy with folks ordering take away sandwiches and salads. The decor is pleasantly relaxed and cosy. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I've been here on so many occasions for breakfast, lunch and dinner, every time I've always enjoyed the food, the service and the surroundings, there's always customers in there, ideal for a family meal for a birthday/anniversary, they really look after you.

Had a fantastic meal with friends on a Thursday evening. Genuine Portuguese restaurant run by Husband and wife originally from the Island of Madeira. Authentic draught beer and excellent House red wine. Complimentary Bread and fish paste. Enormous Charcoal cooked beef Kebabs served individually on large upright skewers with chips, rice and salad. You take off chunks of meat to suit. Followed by cake, coffee and brandy. Friendly and relaxed service. They do a tasty breakfast and lunch during the day. Restaurant is quiet during week but apparently very busy in weekend. Recommend!

Good value for money and the food is very edible. Okay, it's not the Savoy Grill but the food is tasty and you won't ever leave Selmos hungry. The fish is especially good. On the down side is the abundance of sirens from passing police and ambulance services but don't let that bother you unless they don't pass by.

The fish and seafood are superb: simply cooked and plentiful. If you are looking for sophisticated food then this is not the place for you. However if you want great value for money and interesting Madeira food then go go go. The staff are very friendly and the prices competitive The flambe chorizo is a gem and the prawn and squid kebab is something to behold!
