Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of the staff that worked the shift around 11 AM on April 26, but they have been fantastic. Very friendly and going the extra mile to help us out. Thank you!

Awful. The staff were friendly but that's the only good thing. I ordered a vegetarian burger, and received a chicken burger. The glasses and cutlery were dirty. The food was cold (I actually didn't realise it was chicken even after mistakenly eating the thing - it had no flavour at all). It's massively overpriced for what you get!

I had a great time at the pop up bar. My handsome server Edward was very hospitable, he gave great customer service and was very polite.

As the only restaurant in the airport, it's clearly relying on its monopoly. While the service was quick and staff friendly, the food was very poor. The plant-based, vegan burger was so bad and looked like it had been made at a failing McDonald's. However they have the audacity to charge £15 for it alongside some chips. It should be taken off the menu right away, and I wished I had just grabbed a sandwich from WH Smiths. Never again.

Stopped by the temporary bar, service from Edward and Erika was great. The beer was nice, cold and refreshing :))

I ordered the classic full breakfast with scrambled eggs and toast as an extra and an americano and a glass of tap water. The woman taking the order was friendly and efficient and the water was brought immediately. The coffee came hot as did the breakfast. The scrambled egg was inedible. It was as if it had been made with a powdered egg. I was told it was made with fresh eggs. I have never had scrambled egg made with fresh eggs that has a grainy texture. I gave this feedback on payment and was told that’s why she says the poached eggs are better! I wish I had been told this before. This restaurant has a captive audience. It’s sloppy and expensive. Shame really.

Was at LCY. Had a drink at small bar. Manager Adam is a real man.

Had a very busy schedule. Lots of meetings. Things to sort out. Had a problem with immigration that made me quite stressed. My 2 yo kid stained my clothes completely. Very worked up. Came to the restaurant with a very hungry stomach. Frustrated, tired and stressed. And there comes Nathaniel. Tall and handsome stranger with the biggest smile of his face. He was my waiter. Gave excellent service. Prompt, attentive, caring, intelligent… just fantastic. Made some hilarious jokes and before you know it, the horrors of my dreadful day behind me. Thank you Nathaniel! My kids also thank you because a stressed mommy is a naggy mommy.

Had an overpriced glass of wine, but the service made it up for me. Lineta and Erika made my day with their lovely smile and they were both very helpful and helped me find my gate :)

We are usually served by the lovely Mathilde but our experience was still great this time ! City bar is a nice place to relax and it's convenient, there's plugs, large table , it's close to flight screens and everytime I asked a info or a questions to a member of the staff everyone always tries their best to help me or go above and beyond. Food is alright, coffee is always amazing. We miss you Mathilde ! !!!!

Friendly, pleasant staff, clean functional area. We ordered two Traditional English Breakfasts. The food arrived very quickly so it isn’t cooked to order. The food was okay not massive portions and the price was a bit on the heavy side for what was provided. Overall okay for what it is.

Staff members took care of my lactose intolerant condition and succesfully adjusted my meal. Food and drinks are great and service was quick. Waiters were very friendly and polite. Overall a pleasant experience to prepare for my flight.

Terrible food, more expensive than other airports food too. Avoid. Need to employ a chef!

We ate a quick lunch at the City Bar today. The food was good, but the service was better, thank you Hugo. A bright stop thanks to Hugo between canceled fights and a holiday.

Possibly one of the worst and most overpriced meals I have ever had. Total for 1 meal and 2 drinks (soft drink) was £29 Crispy buttermilk chicken burger was no more than a soft breaded, heavily processed chicken patty which is on par with cheap frozen rubbish you would have in low value supermarkets. You’d be better with a mayo chicken in McDonald’s and it’s not an exaggeration. The service was also shocking with the waitress giving dirty glances after asking for my meal to be changed; she was short and snappy despite having been polite about my order and tipping. She was also short with my colleagues as she approached the table, had an attitude similar to Vicky Polard. Save yourself the money and get a meal deal the food was horrendous.

Flying early and decided to have breakfast. « Creamy scrambled eggs » were neither creamy nor indeed edible. I spoke to the waitress who was really helpful. Apparently they are cooked then frozen/defrosted. I has assumed they were powdered eggs as they were gritty. Really disgusting and tasteless.

Little pricy but worth it for quick and tasty food. Always out in under 30 mins.

Considering this is an airport restaurant, the food was great. I made a mistake on the app and Stephanie + the kitchen team were fantastic to help me with it. Good place to check out if you get here early.

The Food is completely overpriced even for airport prices, and the food is so little and bad i wouldt recommend it to anyone. The staff is nice tho.

The blonde bartender was rude and dismissive, I asked if the bar was open and she clearly kept saying they will sit you at a table. She also helped the men before me so I thought she was going to help me, she brushed me away and was short with me. I asked the host if the bar was open and he said it was okay to sit there. I then made a comment should I be scared to sit there (you know since she was rude) he said don’t worry. She then proceeded to ignore me I kept trying to gage any eye contact to ask for a drink or a condiment for my food she went out of her way to ignore me. I wasn’t going to write this review, until I heard her talking about me to her coworkers in the front of the house go to the back of the house and talk about me. Felt very uncomfortable as a solo traveler, not a welcoming place to have a drink or food before a flight.

Very warm welcome, service was on point. Mathilde was very pleasant, smiley and recomend the best dishes on the menu. 100% stop there for her.

This is a very slick operation. Staff are there in seconds to help (or you can use the QR code). Drinks arrived in less than 2 minutes and food in less than 10. Prices for wine are eye watering but it’s worth it. Definitely recommend 100%. Vanderlei is an asset to the business
