selins kebab house in Bexley

Discovered this place being in Sidcup, food is so tasty. We couldn't believe there is still a place somewhere in the world that prepares food so well. Loved it.

New to the area wasn’t sure what kebab place to go to, tried Selins for the first time and was in disbelief how nice the lamb sheesh was. Best kebab I’ve had by far, highly recommend.

Food was great and delivered on time, the only thing was the garlic mayo, tasted more like mint yogurt.

Lamb Doner was smelly , lamb Shish was hard and smelly and tasteless , chilly sauce was spilled as usual, no care to put extra onion. Rude customers support by Alex, they don’t have manners how to speak and how to treat customers

Poor quality meat, paid extra for pitta bread but missing , I wanted extra pitta bread , just eat had no option to add extra pitta bread, I asked from Alex and he rudely said I should add extra rice and I’ll send 4 extra pitta bread instead of rice, 3 pitta breads were including in this family grill meal and four extra pitta bread instead of rice but Alex sent only 4 pitta bread, smelly lamb Doner, and chilly sauce spilled as usual. Rude people

Having not ordered from here for some while I wasn't sure if they were as good as before. We went there on passing for a takeaway and all I can say is the food was delicious and is actually better now. The portions were large and separating it in containers stops it all becoming a soggy mess. Looking at the series of negative reviews I believe they are fake with a malicious agenda. So from my own experience I would highly recommend Selins. Good food, good portions and good value.

They thought people is stupid.i have order two time they said we thought you order alote and charge me alotte money. Everyone who ho there please be careful.they giving you so much stuff .and you end up pay lots.

Saw this kebab shop had very good reviews and even though was very pricey vs other kebab shops - decided to order a doner/chicken shish mix with 2x chilli sauce. Turned up on time but no Chilli sauce and also on the cold side. I cannot eat a doner with no Chilli sauce so, even though It was highly unlikely they would do anything - decided to call the kebab shop, but was told they couldn’t anything and to make a complaint to justeat. £20 for a cold, average kebab. No chilli sauce. Threw away

The food is genuinely one of the best I’ve had that I can remember and they aren’t shy with the portions. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I don’t know why I haven’t come here sooner but I will definitely be coming back! 😋

Friendly staff, affordable, fresh and tasty food. I picked up my order so cannot say anything about the atmosphere regarding dining in but they are very friendly and I assume it's pleasant :) I had a small lamb kebab with rice and salad. The sauce was a bit different from what I usually get in other places it was a bit sweet and I prefer tangy. But the rice was cooked perfectly, meat wasn't salty, very pleasant and I've never had such a fresh salad. Great experience!

Was in need of a kebab, saw Selins on Google thought why not....glad I did, value for money 👍 quality of food 👍 portions 👍👍 had the 3 combo, lamb doner, shish & chicken shish....best kebab I've had in ages 👍 and was kindly let of the odd 10p as didn't have any change on me..definitely going back!

Fresh and tasty Adana kebab. The best I’ve ever eaten. The service was outstanding and the decor was beautifully authentic. I wish I had my phone with me to take pictures.

Three times I’ve ordered from them on Uber eats and every time they miss off the salad I’ve ordered. Every time I call them they say it’s my fault when my order on the app clearly states what I’ve ordered. Nearly £30 for 2 kebabs with none of the salad I’ve ordered. No apologies from them.

Had 3 bad experiences with this take away place. The order always gets delivered wrong and they never rectify it. They are extremely rude on the phone, do not waste your money!!!

Our favourite kebab place to date, everything is cooked in a charcoal grill which makes all the difference. We had the mixed kebab, everything was so delicious!

Great little gem on Sidcup High Street. The Lamb Doner was amazing and we have baklava as well that was as good as any I’ve had if not better. The gentleman that waited on us was friendly and engaging and very helpful! Definitely two thumbs up!👍🏻👍🏻

You need to change the wording on the order options. It says select salad items you want to remove - I therefore selected onions and chilli’s and that’s all you put on my wrap. You need to reword it to - select what salad you’d like added!

Wow! I’m actually shocked how good the food is!!! First time trying since the revamp and honestly it’s fresh, tasty, huge portions and served in a great way that nothing is soggy or cold! All fresh warm and tasty. Will definitely be back. Great food

Absolutely banging food!! Best kebab weve had in ages! And it’s local!!! I had a chicken shish it was so fresh and incredibly tasty! Hubby had chicken doner! It was so so tasty! Foods delivered in individual sections so no soggy kebabs! All fresh and delicious (sorry photos were after we started eating and discovered the taste ;) )

Service although quiet always deliver and friendly, the quality is fresh, big portions and even ask if I want extra sauce without charging more. Love that this place stays open late and is always my go to for a late night dinner if I'm not in the mood for cooking.

Kebab great, chips great. BUT I CHOSE TO HAVE A PITA BREAD and NoT rice, they half filled the kebab with a load of rice I didn’t want and didn’t eat was hidden under the kebab.

Both Lamb and Chicken were a bit on the dry side. Overall it was ok , but nothing to write home about.

Like the quality of the food. Burger was missing some fillings however. Not sure on value, ref other local competition.

Just an advice for the Kebab shop owner. If you charge people, you should give them something. Decent portions, always, otherwise they won’t come again. Focus on quality and service, then money! The previous owner used to take care of his place.

I ordered mixed Doner meat and got only lamb doner which is not what I ordered. Really long wait time. Not impressed or satisfied did not get what I paid for.

Bought large donor and chips it wasn’t fit for a dog. Small pieces of dry burnt donner meat and stall pitta. Never go their again their money grabbers and donor was filthy

If I could leave zero stars I would the food was just so bad we fed it to the foxes. Meat was like crisp shavings of doner and the lamb ribs all 6 of them were just ribs very little meat on them they also gave us rice yes rice with a doner. could of Please don’t waste your money here, I have never ever left a review but just had to as we paid £27 pounds for rubbish.

No no and no I give another go on this place and guess what Chicken was totally burnt Find pieces of chicken look like with a few days dark I think they don't clean the containers where they put the meat,because looks like leftovers from the previous day. Use to be one of the best kebabs In the past I don't really know what happened to this place.

I'm surprised this kebab house actually has 4.4 starts on Google! Even though the delivery arrived ontime and was excited to eat! The donner meat was disgusting! It was burnt hard and like rubber even in my wrap! how can they actually send my food knowing the meat was like this. £30 wasted food into the bin. I have added the imagine into their photos.

They charged £10.50 for this. Ridiculous. Avoid the place, as you see it's a ripoff.
