We ordered from here last night and was blown away seriously to start the young lad serving was very polite and chatty first time ordering here and I must say it's the best curry we have eaten we got back home 3 miles away and even the poperdoms was still hot the food was cooked to perfection 👌 we will definitely be back and the takeaway shop is spotless thanks again guys keep the good work up 😋

Ordered a chicken makhani and this is what arrived. A single slice of plastic cheese cut in half and put on top. Absolute disgrace

Horrendous got everything wrong the guy on the phone had a terrible attitude and the food was minging

The food was good overall, poppadoms slightly soft though. Main issue was delivery time was 50 minutes after estimated time which caused issues for a prior engagement. The restaurant team offered no apologies when called about the order, only stating it would be only another 5 minutes.

I am really not happy chewing a small screw in my food. I have emailed Selby Balti house twice with no response. We use them regularly via just eat or their own app. Really dissatisfied that I have received no apology or anything. Serious stuff really !

Ordered four takeaway meals, 2 were ok however the lamb Rogan only contained beef and the chicken korma sent my wife to the toilet. None of the meat had been properly marinaded and on arrival the food had to be reheated in the microwave. Not recommended.

Arrived on time with a very friendly delivery driver but unfortunately curry was full of onions. Ordered a chicken balti and it was more like onion balti. Only had 3 pieces of chicken and very very mild with no spice at all. Shame as usually really like this place for curry.

We have been using this takeaway for 15 years plus. I can't speak highly enough of this place! My family think that Balti house do the best korma and tikka masala. I personally love the balti dishes with vegetable rise and a naan. Staff are very friendly, yes they get very busy at times (all the best places do) so delivery can be a long wait on occasions, but if that's the case, pick up can be ready in 20 minutes.

was supposed to be coming for 5:35 then had got delayed till 5:50 then delayed again till 6:15 and didnt then come till around 6:40

Disappointing. Advertised as Fairly hot dishes had no spice at all and overall very little flavour. Chips were soggy and barely edible. And the cheese and garlic naan had no taste of garlic and the 'cheese' was slices of plastic singles cheese. Would not order again.

Usually nice food, the starters of Onion Bhaji and mix kebab were cremated and inedible, curry’s were nice.

Ordered curry at 8pm had not arrived by 10. Had called for an update on delivery, after just eat time had lapsed, told it would be 7 mins away. 30 mins later called requesting a refund and to cancel the order - order was cancelled but refund was refused.

Update on above, refund received, food has been good previously just a shame today

Food was disgusting, as someone who orders from them alot. The chicken tasted like cardboard and my little girls plain omelette was covered in grease to the point it was dripping off the egg..

Set meal for 4 is absolutely fantastic value for money. The food was piping hot when it was delivered, the staff on the phone and the delivery driver were all very polite. Our curries were beautiful and full of flavour. Some of the best Indian food I have eaten. I would highly recommend Selby Balti. Thank you guys keep up the great work.

Great Food! The Best Chicken Korma in Selby!

Food was cold on arrival, chicken in shaslick was chewy. Cheese naans over cooked! Really disappointed.

First time ever food was luke warm very unusual.

Very bad treatment for customers. When I tried to pay from my phone using Apple Pay, they said either we have to pay from cash or they’ll be sending a link and to pay from that . When I told them thay they should inform rhe customers that they don’t accept cards at the time of ordering food , the cashier shouted at me and said ‘not to argue with him in rude voice and not to come again’ … of course not gonna go there again ! Extremely bad treatments for women

The food was fantastic, even though my order wasn't complete they rectified their mistake quickly,the food was ready early.

The food was nice, we always enjoy the mixed starters and the tikka masala. They are always polite on delivery but quite often they take a long time to deliver and are usually late. This is the only thing that lets them down. The food is good!

We live about 15 minutes away from Selby, so always expect delivery to be a bit later than usual, food is always still very nice and consistent every time we order.

Food was great but delivery driver complained about the distance he had to drive and how little he made on my order. Not exactly what you want to here when ordering food. My order was £5 more than the minimum so I don't get it. Do your job and if you have a beef complain to your employer not to an innocent customer. Won't be using just eat ever again.

Really tasty curry, highly recommend.

So looked forward for my donner kebab with chilli sauce, and salad, unfortunately kebab came with no sauce, no salad, greasy, even it says kebab comes with chilli sauce and salad, there was only coked onions, that’s all. I usually order extra portion of chilli sauce, but there is no option to do so, it’s not the same eating plain kebab without chilli sauce. Curry full off grease, all bag covered in fat. Disappointed, but will review you with 5 stars, as I don’t want to play a part in lowering your rating.

Was pretty good, only thing that was a bit strange was the dairylea cheese slices in the cheese naan as that's all I could taste.

This is our first (and only) time ordering food from here. Food dreadful. Worst Indian food that we’ve had in selby. Sheikh kebab rock hard. Naan bread thin and brittle. King prawn vindaloo without any depth of flavour just gravy with pure chilli heat. Chicken tikka masala chicken hard and really overcooked. Pilau rice fine but fish pakora seriously overcooked and mostly burnt. Bindi Bhaji was just tomato with a hint of okra! Will not order from here again. Will stick to usual takeaways
