Segreto in Derbyshire Dales

It is a nice , clean and cosy restaurant.Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We mainly ordered pizza's and it was delicious. I ordered wild mushroom risotto but unfortunately what I got was just rice and mushrooms. I was disappointed with my food and regret ordering it.

We came as a family for dinner when staying in Ashbourne. It is a lovely restaurant, relaxed, nice atmosphere with great food. The lasagne was lovely, but everyone was happy with their meals. Service was good and we also had a vegan option for my daughter

A great find, the food was amazing! Special mention for the lamb ragu which was divine. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great friendly service too.

Lovely friendly restaurant, dog friendly too! Squeezed us in despite not booking and made us feel very welcome. Lovely pizza and dogs were made a fuss of. Great family run restaurant and worth a visit.

We had a wonderful evening here. We were made to feel welcome immediately from the moment we stepped through the door. The service was excellent, the menu was quite extensive and the food was superb. This place is a real gem. A huge thank you to our server who found us stranded in the town centre when no taxi was available for two hours. She very kindly drove us to our hotel. Thank you so much and best wishes for your exam results and future studies.

We celebrated a family birthday at Segreto and had a lovely time. We were a party of 24, and the restaurant fitted us in for a late afternoon / early evening meal. We pre-ordered our meals (with a good selection of dishes on offer), and the communication for this (via phone and then email) was excellent. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and was served very efficiently, so we were all eating hot dishes at the same time. Every one of us enjoyed our meals. The food is very fresh and flavoursome, and the portion sizes are generous. We would highly recommend Segreto and will be back when we visit the area again.

We booked for lunch. What a disappointment The food was not great. Expensive basic food. Cooked badly. Cold room. No atmosphere. Over priced and not appetising at all. I know Italian food well and this was a bad representation Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great service and delicious food as always. Have been to this restaurant a few times now and I simply cannot recommend it enough, it’s warm and cosy inside with helpful staff and the food is just amazing
