Secret Garden in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Come here and even in March, it was lovely enough to sit outside and appreciate the stunning view. Staff are amazing, food was even better. Plenty of vegan options. I would have taken a photo of my food, but it didn't get a chance when I saw it 😆 Will defo come again when I'm in the area.

Lovely little spot with a great atmosphere. The staff were lovely and one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. Dog friendly too and my dog settled right down. Prices were great too and very worth every penny.

What a fantastic place, the ambience is really chilled, the music is great. The a staff are really welcoming and the patio out the back with views over the beach and horizon is stunning. Add this to your go to place of you are in Newquay. You won't be disappointed.

The pizzas were okay, but very thin crust. This reminded us more of a tarte flambée than pizza. Very friendly service!

Me and my boyfriend went to Secret Garden a month ago when we visited Cornwall on holiday. We absolutely loved the pizza and still believe it’s the best pizza I have ever had! Cannot recommend the food enough!

Amazing views from the back patio. Friendly and helpful staff, even if they take their time getting to you. The cocktails are marvelous! But the pizza is somewhere between “meh” and “try something else.” (You know the drill: rubbery, not hot, kind of oily, etc.) I know the other reviews say the pizza is the best in Newquay, and that may be true, but that doesn’t mean it’s good.

I have trouble recommending the secret garden: it should remain a secret!!! If you want good food and a superb view in the garden: go here!!!

Highly recommendet to anyone who enjoys fantastic drinks, exquisite service, and beautiful views! The terrace offers incredible sea views. The drinks are wonderful, with recipes crafted in such a way that you can taste each ingredient, which is a rarity. The staff creates an incredibly warm and homely atmosphere, making you want to return! Special recognition goes to waitress/bartender Kasia, who puts her whole heart into serving guests! The prices aren't the lowest, but are affordable and also, it's worth remember that it's a resort area, and things tend to be a bit more expensive there.

We stopped by the Secret Garden for pizza during our recent trip to Newquay. Opting for outdoor seating, we were treated to a splendid view of the beach from their back garden. We ordered pizzas and a side of potato wedges. While the pizzas were delectable, their policy against half-and-half toppings struck us as unusual. After all, pizzas are among the most customizable dishes! The wedges were a tad too soft for my preference, but the pizzas were a hit with everyone. The service was commendable, and we're likely to revisit on future trips to the region.

Absolutely lush place. Staff are great, drinks and cocktails are top class, and the location is breathtaking. Defo recommend. Very unique place and a lovely atmosphere.

So after a long drive down to Cornwall with 2 very hungry kids in the car we parked up and found this cute little place. The view from.the garden of the beach was stunning and we got to watch some surfers while waiting for our food. We had a couple of pizzas and were very accommodating with our requirements. They do cute little cocktails too and the pizzas tasted amzing! Perfect light fluffy dough and easy enough to eat without feeling over full. Worth a visit if near by!

Top notch pizza and cocktails, best pizza I've had in the Newquay area. Gorgeous venue with an amazing view, the wind wasn't too kind to us but I bet it's a total suntrap on some days. Went at lunchtime on a Friday, no booking and got a table no problem. Inside is wheelchair accessible and they were very accommodating and friendly. Outside not so accessible, depends how determined you are! There are ramps but they are very steep and narrow and have a small step at either end. Also part of outside is gravelled (see photo). Not sure about the toilet situation, we didn't investigate, but Steam bar nearby has disabled toilets. Service was fine for us but it wasn't busy at all, about 5 covers in altogether.

Fabulous night at the Secret Garden, we didn't have a table but managed to get one as we walked in! Staff are incredibly friendly and so accommodating! Pizza are fantastic boys had a pepperoni pizza (which wasn't on the menu) and we had the mother clucker which was super!! Really refresh tasty pizzas and the cocktails are the best!! We sat inside but popped outside and the sunsets here are special!!! An amazing place would highly recommend, great atmosphere, relaxed and kids lived it too!!

The food was incredible, the service was amazing and a perfect little spot for a quiet lunch or dinner! Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back!

Amazing food. Amazing drinks. Amazing staff. Unfortunately, we sat very close to some very drunk people. This made it a bit of a rubbish atmosphere. We had no choice but to listen to their nonsense. Shame. They looked like they do that sort of thing on the regular. Shame really and sad. I'm sure they would be nice people but alcohol is the problem. A member of staff asked if they were okay. And if they would like to pay their bill. There was just more nonsense. If it was me I would get them to pay and then kick them out. So the other people eating and spending more can enjoy their evening. A bit of a backbone is needed. Establishments shouldn't need to accommodate drunk drebs of Society. It's a restaurant not a club in Blackpool..... 5 stars to the food! And serves. Beautiful view! Would go again. But would leave if the same drunk people were there.

Absolutely an amazing!!!! Absolutely love the staffs, with smiling. We so happy to be back at secret garden It my number 1 of Newquay. Especially dj on back garden with a view and sun set going down. Just perfect like a home.

Nice place with all kinds of special pizzas. Don't expect too much of the personnel...all feels too much.

Tasty little pie spot overlooking the beach. I had the N’duja, it had a bit of a kick to it, very good. Also chill vibes and dogs are welcome.

Perfect spot for pizza and drinks overlooking the sea. There weren’t any mocktails on the menu but they gave me three choices and mine was delicious! Staff were all really friendly too. Tables were fully booked but we managed to get a table for three outside as a walk-in.

After reading many good reviews, I went with a group of friends and we ordered a couple of the Margherita pizzas. Firstly, if you’re a fan of the classic Italian-style Margherita, you might be extremely disappointed - as was I. We had to ask for more fresh basil (two tiny baked pieces on each pizza, doesn’t cut it on a Margherita) and the whole thing tasted very herby and peppery, with a bit of a “kick” to them. They weren’t bad pizzas by any means - just not what we were expecting and they should probably have called them something else, as they definitely were not Margherita. We all agreed that we had had better, and the people saying these pizzas are the best, haven’t been out much.

A very pleasant experience with a wonderful view. A welcome break to have a nice refreshing drink. Staff very friendly.

Great food and great staff Pizza is always a hit and miss in England, this one is definitely a hit! The dough is thin and crispy with a slight char, - more of a Roma style ( Rome, the city, you degenarates), a style you would find in places along the Adriatic coast, their toppings actually are tastefully done and go well together! Well done them. House lager went down nicely after said pizza. The staff is both relaxed and has a sense of humour, which is greatly appreciated. Secret garden should be cherished, take more time if you can! They also have a terrace facing the sea...
