Really great place to go in Newquay- highly recommend for a beautiful view to watch the waves & people surfing! Delicious food & cocktails with outstanding customer service!

It’s hard not to go back all the time. I couldn’t be happier as a celiac to have the best gluten free pizza with amazing toppings with gluten free beer but also the staff always asking and making sure they are safe in the kitchen. We love the view and overall atmosphere of this place. And our dog can join us which is huge plus.

We came to Newquay for a short break. We found this lovely bar/restaurant on the first evening, then went back the next 3 nights Wonderful view from the garden at the rear, which overlooks the sea. The food was great, the staff could not have been better thanks to Charlie,Scott and wayne for making us feel welcome. We highly recommend this bar to anyone staying in Newquay.

A beautiful restaurant on the beachfront, it's name says it all. From the outside this cozy building doesn't look like much. But inside you're met with a instant cozy atmosphere with plants galore. The inside area is small but nicely spaced out. With a bar and separate dining area. The service was speedy and Friendly. And the drinks and food were top quality. Outside they have a beautiful garden with a stunning ocean view. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice meal out!!!

Fantastic service! Welcoming, friendly environment. Wonderful cocktails! They asked what we were there for and made personalised recommendations based on that.

Didn't eat here, came in for a coffee and the view, great coffee and even better view. Came back following day for a pre dinner drink. Not only was I remembered but the joke I had shared with the manager the say before was continued. Great customer service, great place, and I will return.

Great little spot for cocktails and some lovely pizza as well. The view is fantastic and supported by a great team who take real pride in what they do and looking after people. Great little find that I can’t wait to go to again!

Over looking the beach, very pleasant, nice local cider on draught, easy to spend a few hours doing nothing, could be overlooked from the street, well worth tracking down

Had a evening meal there. Made welcome by staff. Had homemade pizza meal and drinks, outside in the courtyard over looking the bay. Really worth it.

Really nice pizzas and truffle wedges - can’t fault the food. Ambiance a little off - we sat inside as the weather was not on our side (the garden did look lovely from afar) but they were pumping out dance music so loud it was hard to have a conversation; although the staff did kindly move us away from the speakers at our request we still struggled with the sound. Perhaps we are just getting old - this venue has a young vibe to it.

Fantastic place and atmosphere, great food and world-class service (greetings to the waitress from Australia from Polish visitors from Southampton). The best place for an evening and not only.

Visited this little pizza place on holiday recently and was not disappointed. The lady serving us was really attentive, the views from the garden were breathtaking and the pizzas were very tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent pizza! A thin floor with creative covering makes it really unique here! Vegetarian and Vegan options available! Service very motivated, fast and friendly!

Incredible views from the garden, it can be a bit windy but that is expected considering it's on top of a cliff. They are well equipped with blankets and things to keep you warm. The service was really great with lovely cocktails available. The food was also really good too. Parking is very limited.

Pizzas were lovely but the cornish cider was not cornish and was very expensive for what came.

Nice decor. Very disappointed with the margarita pizza. Couldn’t work out what the strange taste was. Seemed like it was covered in peppers and spices, with the ratio of tomato and cheese ruining the taste. Look elsewhere if you want a good quality pizza.

Lovely views out the back, nice feel to the place but I would have prefered being served from the table, perhaps that was related to how busy it was but that would have been an improvement imho. I wouod return though! 🙂👍

Dog friendly. Pizzas were absolutely delicious. But fair warning, the outside can get super windy and cold.

An oasis off the otherwise unappealing Cliff Street. Walked into Newquay from Perranporth on sunny Friday and happened to catch a glimpse of the sea through the front window as we walked down Cliff Street. Great staff, drinks and the pizza looked great (but we'd already eaten so did not get any) and a great view of the bay. A hidden jem of a place in Newquay that aside from the beaches was a bit of a dump compared to everywhere else in Cornwall that we'd visited.

Small out door pizza place with great views. Only sells secret garden beer on draught . The cocktail are expensive.

Had a great meal at Secret Garden Newquay. We sat outside and it started to rain and our server went above and beyond to help shelter us from the rain. Food was amazing and you have to try the wedges!

It was fine, not "The Best Pizza" must be just drunk people. Guy behind the counter was rude as well. Very average place, no idea how it got 4.8!. Must be fake

I don’t understand how this place has such a great score. The views are amazing, the staff were very nice and polite, cocktails were tasty and very well presented….But our 1 pizza and 1 portion of olives took at least 50 minutes to come out. When the pizza came out it was very dry with very little amount of toppings. I understand that hospitality is tough industry but if you have staff issues or you must wait longer for the food at least let customers know.

Awful service, accused of not paying yet did before getting drinks and paid at bar and then chased out of venue upon leaving. Yet we were not the only ones, so we're other customers. seemed very disorganised and very rude staff when confronted. "it's been busy" no offer of apology or the fact they got it wrong even though they had a member of staff say they got it wrong!!! When we were there is was nkt busy at all. To here arguments from a member of staff was uncalled for. We waited over 20 mins for the drinks and had to ask for them, the drinks were awful.... Worst cocktails I've ever had yet we walked out, paid in advance without a fuss as we thought hey leave it be ... I've had a few cocktails living in London but this was overpriced for water. We checked before coming in and was fine not too busy etc. Staff on phones rather than actually serving. On leaving its was that awful I would never go back or recommend... One plus view is nice. I will find nicer plans and better venues next time. Go to the boathouse instead!!! Much nicer and extremely nice staff

Stunning views over the sea, very peaceful and relaxing. We only went for a drink and we ended up eating pizza and wedges, both of which were delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. Added bonus, dog friendly.

The food and atmosphere was relaxed, the music was excellent but the view was out of this world. We all ordered different pizzas and having eaten pizza in Naples I can say this pizza is just as good. The staff were attentive and lovely I will be back! The secret garden is a hidden gem

Me and Franklin popped in on the off-chance for a pizza and a drink, we were treated by lovely polite staff and received an amazing pizza with a very short wait, definitely coming back as soon as possible. Franklin was very pleased with the swift delivery of treats on his arrival 🐾

The best sunset in Newquay with amazing pizza (including fresh Gluten Free) and superb cocktails. Great find and excellent terrace overlooking Great Western beach, the ocean and the sunsetting into the horizon. Must go.

Nice view, great drinks, food no comment

Had a really enjoyable evening here in June. The pizza was great and the chicken peanut salad was delicious! We would return just for the salad alone! Amazing choice of cocktails & very tasty. Beautiful view of the sunset! Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Amazing bar, with great cocktails and food with the perfect viewing spot of the beach, especially if you want to catch a sunset! Can be a bit chilly and there's not enough blankets to go around so make sure you wrap up if you plan to sit outside on a breezy night!

Hidden gem with a wicked outlook for sunset. Waves rolling in to the cliffs below, un interrupted sea views with the sun setting just in front. Great pizza's and drink options

We walked 40 minutes into town to go the this bar after checking on google if it was open (it said online it was) we then found out it wasn’t open and had wasted our time. We have one 80 year old am with plus too who’s birthday we were celebrating.. not a great start to the week. Please change your online opening times to stop confusion.

Wonderfully authentic bar serving decent cocktails, fabulous views out back overlooking the beach. Only losing a star for the toilets- a family friendly place but I didn't think it was appropriate to have gender neutral toilets in close proximity to the bar, (just my view as I was with my young daughter)

I couldn’t resist popping in to see what this cool little spot had to offer! I was only grabbing a drink, and I opted for a rather lovely coconut rimmed margarita! Tasted nice, so I ordered it twice! Cheers!

Excellent pizzas with amazing views of the sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Took time to give us recommendations on what shops to visit in town. Music was enjoyable.

Lovely, friendly staff. Great food with Gluten free, Vegan and Vegetarian options.Wide choice of drinks alcohol and non alcohol. Food and drink arrived quickly.Sat in the garden at the back and enjoyed the view as we had dogs with us. Dogs are allowed in the garden area.

Called in on the off chance and fortunately struck a little bit of Newquay gold. Very nice pizza (not a massive pizza lover to be honest) and very nice cocktails, at a reasonable price. Will definitely be returning.

Come here and even in March, it was lovely enough to sit outside and appreciate the stunning view. Staff are amazing, food was even better. Plenty of vegan options. I would have taken a photo of my food, but it didn't get a chance when I saw it 😆 Will defo come again when I'm in the area.

Lovely little spot with a great atmosphere. The staff were lovely and one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. Dog friendly too and my dog settled right down. Prices were great too and very worth every penny.

What a fantastic place, the ambience is really chilled, the music is great. The a staff are really welcoming and the patio out the back with views over the beach and horizon is stunning. Add this to your go to place of you are in Newquay. You won't be disappointed.

The pizzas were okay, but very thin crust. This reminded us more of a tarte flambée than pizza. Very friendly service!

Really fantastic pizza - I had the Mother Clucker and it's up there with my favourite ever pizza. Views were amazing, vibe relaxed and staff super nice - loved it.

Have been in several times for cocktails and coffee. Staff friendly and drinks very good. Would recommend. Haven't had food but what was served around us looked very nice.

Atmosphere was great, including decor, music, views, and plants. Food was average though, maybe sub par for the mushy olives.
