Pizza Pls in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We were made to feel really welcome. Non gluten bases are easily catered for. Staff friendly and relaxed. Pizzas were super. Really enjoyed the evening. Children made welcome and respected. All in all, a super place, and we will be visiting again . My son and family who live in Peryn definitely will!!!!

Pizza is very good and the interior design is lovely and warm. In spite of this, every time i come here i tell myself it will be the last, primarily because i find some of the staff to be consistently very rude, creating a very inhospitable environment. A shame.

We were in Falmouth collecting our daughter from uni and she had always wanted to try Pizza Pls so booked a table for us all for dinner. Informal and relaxed decor and we all loved the music! Delightful front of house staff, attentive and friendly. We had garlic bread to share and two pizzas between three of us: bosco (porchetta and mushroom) and salsiccio (with fennel sausage) all were exceptional. Really good dough and toppings expertly baked. I haven't had pizza this good outside of Italy. As a really thoughtful touch we were offered delicious white chocolate and blueberry cannoli for dessert on the house. A lovely way to end the meal. We had a great evening - thank you!

We stumbled upon this place when we were starving hungry and we could not have been more blown away by the atmosphere, the staff and of course the incredible pizza! What great value for money too - the day we were there they had half price margaritas which was a bonus! We got two pizzas and one cheesy garlic bread and just wow! Every bite was delicious! Absolutely love what they are doing at pizza pls and cannot recommend this place enough!

First time visiting and was really happy with our choice. Falmouth and Penryn are spoilt for choice on Pizza and this place is definitely vying for Number 1. The food was epic, really well cooked and presented and the staff were both helpful and informative but chatty too which was great. Will definitely return soon

The pizza was incredible, I had the creamy cheesy base with fennel and it blew my mind! Dog friendly is a massive bonus, inside and outside. The vibes are awesome and the setting is beautiful inside. We spent a week making sure we didn’t use any chain restaurants so this was perfect. Get there early as parking may be hit and miss, but well worth a good walk!! The pizza is nuts! Also, an amazing pizza place in a sea of fish and chips shops is the BEST FIND EVER! You MUST try this!!! Great pizza Great staff Great vibes. Do it.

Seriously good on every level. Service was brilliant - friendly, helpful staff who know their stuff. Food was incredible - fresh pizza, carefully made, perfectly cooked and the tastiest tomato base sauce I’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is relaxed with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and a gentle buzz.

The food was prepared excellently, a different combination of flavors that went well together along with the friendly and welcoming customer service definitely made it a 5 star recommendation, the atmosphere was calm and peaceful definitely a place I'd take my family to enjoy and bond over.

Best sourdough pizza in town. Simple, yet imaginative toppings along side traditional toppings. Kids and pet friendly place, vibrant atmosphere, with a service second to none. No request was too much for the staff, and if they did not have what you wanted(hot water, honey and lemon) they went out of their way to replace the honey with agave syrup. As for the food, well what can say, it was so good we forgot to take pictures. Nothing was left on a plate. The thick crust is deceptive, as it was as light as a feather. I used it to soak up the dips and clean plates.

The pizzas here are amazing, they’re proper Italian pizzas. The waitress was lovely and made us laugh a lot. A really great restaurant.

Pizza Plz is a fantastic place. The pizzas are consistently impressive, with a wide variety of generous toppings. Big fan of the dough and thickness, some artisan pizzas can be quite thin, but these hold their shape without being a thick, doughy mess; great for eating out of the box at a nearby beach! Do be careful if you’re picking up a to-go order. There’s no official parking, and limited street parking nearby on some very old and narrow Cornish roads.

Pizza was ok apart from one we had an issue with which was promptly refunded. Margarita lacked flavour. Service fine

Pizza was so delicious!! Our server Jazz was one of the best servers I've ever had! I had the burrata pizza with mushrooms and the mushrooms were delicious and pizza dough was perfect!

Hands down the BEST Pizza in Cornwall in a funky and relaxed atmosphere. They have loads of veggie and vegan options too with the most delicious base dough I’ve ever had. Book a table to make sure you get a seat, or order a takeaway and eat it somewhere along the river.

The best pizza I’ve had in Cornwall hands down!! And those dough bites are next level! Also need to do a massive shout to Jaz, the best waitress ever, she made the whole evening! Can’t wait to go back!

Best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve been to a pizza festival several times and y’all are still my favourite. Would recommend to anyone and often take family here when they visit =)

Wonderful atmosphere and music. Pizza is good although Penryn is a competitive place so hard to say whether it's the best in this small Cornish town (check also Verdant). Staff could be friendlier but at least the service is fast and in a busy place that's essential. Keep in mind that it might be hard to find a parking lot around there but one can park a bit further in Penryn and walk there. Overall a real little gem in a lovely town.

Ate at their pop up at the Harbour Boat. Really friendly team, managed a big order with ease, kept us in the loop, speedy, and absolutely delicious. Aioli dip was delish!

I don’t write many reviews, but this place definitely deserves one! We booked before hand as a friend recommended this place can get really busy. On arrival we were greeted by a super friendly waiter. He took us through an illuminated outdoor eating area, which my daughter thought was fantastic! The fairy lights dotted around everywhere were magical. He seated us at the back in our own private booth, with our very own, mood lighting. (Which is very handy when you have tired children with you) We ordered our drinks and began to browse the menu. We ordered the meal deal for the children, which included a smaller pizza, with a drink and ice cream for dessert. My husband ordered the veggie option, which he loved and I could tell, he did not want to share with anyone! I ordered the Dolce Diablo pizza. I was blown away. This pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. The taste was so delicious. If you like sweet spicy foods, this is the pizza for you! The vibrant, flavoursome purée tasted delicious with the chunky, grated mozzarella and delicately, sliced pepperoni. To top it off they drizzled chilli oil (I think) and scrummy jalapeño’s for the grand finale, it tasted incredible. Definitely try this pizza! You won’t be disappointed! Staff were all fantastic and atmosphere even better. Can’t wait for our next visit. We will be returning very soon!

Went with parents and it was a hit. Had the special (a greek-inspired concoction) a margharita, and the portobello. Each fantastic. I really can't recommend the portobello enough if you like garlic, mushrooms, or both.

Amazing pizza, great place for take away or dining in

Consistently excellent pizza, and really lovely staff. Whilst it might seem quite pricey, the food is definitely worth it. Really cosy atmosphere when the log burner is on too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the best pizza around.

Just finished my takeaway pizza from this place and I can safely say hand on heart that it was the nicest pizza I’ve ever had! My wife and I had a large pizza each and a cheese garlic bread to share and we couldn’t believe the flavours of each ingredient. I’m used to a pizzas flavours all blending into one but these were different, you could taste each fresh ingredient. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area!

Disappointing, mostly dough , very little base sauce with cold pre cooked mushrooms & old dry rocket. Centre of the pizza nearly raw. Trying to give constructive feedback was meet with disproportionate hostility by the owner , aggressive defensive reaction , stubbornly insisting his pizzas are perfect , no attempt to take responsibility for a really poorly cooked pizza , such a shame.

All dough extremely disappointing, pre cooked cold mushrooms with 2 small lumps of cheese . Rude customer service when tried to explain.

Fantastic pizza, as good as place I was recommended in Napoli. We got a margeherita and a Portobello. Margherita hit all the right notes. Portobello was amazing. Garlic with a hint of truffle marinated mushrooms were amazing. Also super great with allergy concerns, gluten free, or in our case, an onion/garlic intolerance - sauce made fresh so no biggie! We will be back!!!

We had an absolutely spectacular valentine’s day date here. The food was exceptional, and the service matched it! Jazz was so attentive and friendly while also maintaining a professional attitude - massive thanks to her for making our experience so lovely. We really enjoyed the vast pizza options as well as lush sides and you have to get yourself a cocktail - they were brilliant! Such excellent value for money. We will defo be back again very soon.

Proper pizza place, run by very friendly staff

Pizzas are amazing. Some of the best I’ve ever had. We went on a Wednesday for the pitcher deal. We had 5 pitchers between 3 people. Sadly, they may as well have been non-alcoholic and so the value for money was pretty poor, even with the deal. Can’t beat the pizzas though.

Great Pizza and service but because of the chalet\tented style layout it can be a tad chilly to sit in for food in winter. Will get takeaways now until spring and enjoy them in the Famous Barrel pub over the road. 😁

Delicious pizza, lots of choice, great local beers, homemade desserts, weekly specials, very generous with toppings and extras, can't fault it! Staff are super friendly and you can grab a spot by the warm fire 🔥 Pizza places don't get better than this IMO

Excellent pizza, lovely environment for dinner

Went there for an afternoon date with my boyfriend as he *loves* their pizza. We had bruschetta and burrata salad for starters which were really yummy, I usually prefer less tomatoes, but the tomatoes on bruschetta tasted delicious and burrata salad with pine nuts was out of this world. For main course, I had margherita with mushrooms and chilies, did not like the mushrooms on it but the chilies were spicy and a good add on for the pizza. I wanted to try their cannoli for dessert but they ran out of it, so we just had ice creams which were creamy and tasty. I also had San Pellegrino (lemonade) and the glass that came with the rattler looked cool.

It’s a lovely relaxed setting and I ordered the Napoli and added mushroom as an extra. The wine was so smooth and a great accompaniment to the pizza! I keep thinking about the pizza and can’t wait to visit next time I’m in Penryn!

The GF base is a store bought Schar base and it's an extra £3 for the privilege of having one. Disappointing! Tables were dirty and sticky as well. Yum!

Ate here recently after looking for somewhere new locally that does lacto cheese. So pleased I found them! They are absolutely fantastic. Far superior to anywhere else in the area and a really nice vibe within the restaurant. Parking can be a pain but not the problem of Pizza Pls.

First impressions were good but that quickly changed. Tables were so sticky you couldn't place arms, hands or clothing on them. In an attempt to find some kind of comfort for the kids we resorted to placing napkins down that immediately adhered to the table. Menus or our table had seen better days and had stains. Having ordered a selection of pizza's they came promptly but sadly were not cut through into slices despite being almost paper thin and with little topping. An 11" pizza ordered for a child I would suggest be cut into more than 4 slices! No plates were provided, the metal trays the pizza's came on were way to hot for the children to touch presumably having come straight from the oven. I believe this because despite having a wood fired oven where pizza's are normally cooked directly on the stone, ours were blackened on the crust tops and still pale and doughy in the center. Without any clear idea who management were and the member of staff that had taken our order seemingly disappearing to sort a parking issue, I felt it pointless to relay the issues we had experienced to the person I found in order to pay. With hungry children to feed elsewhere despite the £40+ bill I wasn't in the mood to hang around. This might have been an off night but sadly ruined our family meal out. PIZZA PLS..... DO BETTER.

Easily the best pizza in Cornwall!

The seating is mainly uncomfortable and clearly shows they don’t want you to stay. The pizza dough goes down like a brick. We had a pizza each and were stuffed after the first couple of pieces. The dough isn’t right. You basically feel like you have eaten a loaf of bread. We are well used to eating pizza and would not criticise unnecessarily. Not the best experience.

Fantastic pizza, probably the best authentic pizza I've had! Vegan options were amazing, you wouldn't know they were vegan, so very happy with the food! My only downside is the pricing of beer, even for a can from a brewery less than 5 minutes away. £7 for 440ml can of 3.8% is a bit expensive. Other than that a lovely meal, thanks!

I probably shouldn't have been surprised to find an authentic wood-fired pizzeria off the main strip in Penryn, but I was. Very pleasantly so. I ordered the "salsiccia" with a spicy nduja with a pint of locally brewed Lacuna pale ale. Pure bliss.

Warm welcome, friendly service, rustic vibe. Good range of pizza options, reasonably priced. Clean facilities 'as if your mother was visiting'.
