Pizza Pls in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Gem of a place 🤗 Had a family lunch there where I think we had almost everything off the menu! All the food was amazing, great Cocktails and Wine. The service was great, attentive and speedy. Recommend 100%🤗

Used to love this place when it was Pizza Plz, as the reviews say best pizza ever, but with the new ownership the pizza dough is different and more tough, and so much oil on the pizza or in the cheese now so have stopped going. Great friendly servers so not their fault but can tell the ingredients aren't there anymore.

First time eating here after months of saying we should try it. Couldn't fault it in any way. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Quick service. Food absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money. Will definitely be returning. Thank you 😋😁

Good pizza, but you have to be careful what comes first because that's the green sauce. Spicxy namite is very good and I can only recommend it. To park you have to look 2 streets up after the church on the left there is a public parking lot.

Really nice place, friendly staff and nice selection of Pizzas & sharers at a fair price. I ordered the Formaggio (4 cheese) Pizza with added Pepperoni and had a garlic and herb dip. This is the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Forget about the other big chain pizzas, in my opinion this topped them all by a long way, it was incredible. I almost ordered another one to take home with me but with it being the first day of our holiday, I wanted to save a few pennies (the kitchen had also closed) and return again. It's a hollow victory as I live 6 hrs away and now every other pizza will now just be "meh". Highly recommend this place.

Outrageously good pizza. Went twice in three days. You can tell these boys have been doing it a while. It’s the first pizza I’ve had in the U.K. that didn’t immediately make me wish I was back in Italy. Think about the vegan La Reefé several times a week.

I’ve been to this restaurant three times now since July, partly because it’s good and partly because I live a 5-minute walk away. Two of those times (the time in July, when I just went with my partner, and this week - 20 August - with my family), the pizzas - although delicious - were doughy, floppy and not cooked enough. The first time, we waited quite a long time when it wasn’t that busy, so presumed that’s just how they do their pizza, but the most recent time we’d waited a long time and couldn’t be bothered to send them back, plus it was obvious that they were completely overrun - very busy and service was virtually non-existent (perhaps a staff member had unexpectedly called in sick or they were not expecting to be so busy for a Tuesday night). However, that said, the time in between, when we went with friends on a busy Saturday night (10 August), the pizza was amazing - so crisp and light! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. I don’t eat meat, so I can recommend the Le Reefe and the Artichoke pizzas. Padron peppers are also lovely, as are the cocktails (I like the spicy watermelon margherita and a lemon frozen one). Overall, I think the cooking of the pizza is a bit inconsistent and I would definitely request that the pizza be cooked enough when/if I go back again.

My friends found this place and said that we should all go there for our last dinner together before we all went home to different parts of the UK. The staff were excellent and helpful, making together memor this last meal together. There was a wide range of pizza toppings, some I had never considered, such as cream cheese and artichoke, which was very light and full of flavour.

Fantastic food, the first few times we visited on holiday it was spot on. Best pizza I have had. But only marked down as they no longer let us takeaway the burratta pizza.. shame as its amazing.

Avoid. This is not the well reviewed „Pizza Pls“ anymore. It’s now „Pizza42“ under new ownership. Ordered a pizza w/ prosciutto, rocket and burrata (even showed the waiter a picture). They put speck/bacon instead of prosciutto and drowned it in cheese. To top it off they charged €7.50(!) for the burrata topping (which was more like mozzarella). Pizza Funghi was fine. If you must go here, definitely stick to items on the menu. No parking anywhere nearby either.

About everything you could want from a pizza place; banging dough, considered menu with spins on the classics and some delicious originals - the wiseguy was a standout - great beers, snacks and cocktails in a tucked away neighbourhood location 🤌🏻

Posto scoperto per caso, carino e informale. Personale gentile e sorridente. Pizza spettacolare!!! Migliore di molte mangiate in Italia, con un impasto leggerissimo (davvero una nuvola, la digestione è una passeggiata), gustoso e con la giusta croccantezza. Nota di merito per la "pepperoni"... assolutamente da provare!! Divertente anche il fatto che ti portano il piatto con la mega rotella taglia pizza e poi puoi mangiare con le mani (ovviamente le posate ci sono 🤪).

They are open until 9pm but I have rang after 8pm several times and gotten a different excuse each time. "We have ran out of dough", "our oven is broken", "sorry we are closed (?!?)". At this point just change your opening times lol

We booked a table here whilst we were on holiday and we are so glad we did. The atmosphere was buzzy, the pizzas were epic and the staff were lovely. They are dog friendly too. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful independent little place for authentic Italian pizza. Excellent variety of tasty pizza toppings and amazing gluten free bases too. Fab service and a child friendly environment. Shame we don't live closer!

Pizza in Penryn? Oh yes! And a good one at that. Recommended by everybody. It was mentioned a few times that it has changed ownership, always a delicate affair. But this pizza was good and lived up to high expectations. We ordered a pepperoni one, but with double pepperoni. Pizza isn’t usually my thing, but if I’m out, I’ll overdo it just because. But Double pepperoni delivered all the flavor and punch and the delicious grease you expect. Happy days! The garlic bread was good too, with enough of everything on it. The only disappointment was the meatballs, which were unnecessarily hot spicy. But hey ho. A nice salad to balance it out and a couple of drinks didn’t break the bank. Service was attentive, swift, and smiley. If you are around Penryn, go and pay them a visit. They have plenty of space.

Casual place with lovely pizza. A bit challenging to find a parking slot so prepare for some walking. The food is worth it.

Super super tasty food in a relaxed setting with very friendly staff! Great to have such a child friendly place, with quick service and high quality food nearby :-) The setting is so much cleaner and fresher since the new owners took over, it’s a real pleasure to visit and there are more food options now too - the specials being exceptionally good (most recently had the Burrata pizza) 😋 Highly recommend - 5*

What can I say,THE WORST PIZZA EVER or like my daughter sad PIZZA SCAM I have look after a pizzeria and I found this one and in the picture that I saw the pizzas was like should be done ( they where from the old owner ) but when the pizza arrived 🤢🤮 I only finished my pizza because I was really hungry and my wife didn't eaten at all and but I will leave the real picture of the pizza that they ate making and only 6 pizzas in the whole menu. They should update their page for sure.

Perfect place to sit, eat and drink. Such a nice vibe and amazing pizza. Great wine choices too. Spent a whole afternoon after we finished eating enjoying more drinks in the sunshine. Totally recommend and worth going out of the way for. 10/10.

I had one of the most delicious pizzas I’ve had for a long time here. The base was thin the toppings were tasty and I can’t wait to go back again soon.

We were made to feel really welcome. Non gluten bases are easily catered for. Staff friendly and relaxed. Pizzas were super. Really enjoyed the evening. Children made welcome and respected. All in all, a super place, and we will be visiting again . My son and family who live in Peryn definitely will!!!!

Pizza is very good and the interior design is lovely and warm. In spite of this, every time i come here i tell myself it will be the last, primarily because i find some of the staff to be consistently very rude, creating a very inhospitable environment. A shame.

We were in Falmouth collecting our daughter from uni and she had always wanted to try Pizza Pls so booked a table for us all for dinner. Informal and relaxed decor and we all loved the music! Delightful front of house staff, attentive and friendly. We had garlic bread to share and two pizzas between three of us: bosco (porchetta and mushroom) and salsiccio (with fennel sausage) all were exceptional. Really good dough and toppings expertly baked. I haven't had pizza this good outside of Italy. As a really thoughtful touch we were offered delicious white chocolate and blueberry cannoli for dessert on the house. A lovely way to end the meal. We had a great evening - thank you!

We stumbled upon this place when we were starving hungry and we could not have been more blown away by the atmosphere, the staff and of course the incredible pizza! What great value for money too - the day we were there they had half price margaritas which was a bonus! We got two pizzas and one cheesy garlic bread and just wow! Every bite was delicious! Absolutely love what they are doing at pizza pls and cannot recommend this place enough!

Very relaxed atmosphere, great vibe and fantastic food

First time visiting and was really happy with our choice. Falmouth and Penryn are spoilt for choice on Pizza and this place is definitely vying for Number 1. The food was epic, really well cooked and presented and the staff were both helpful and informative but chatty too which was great. Will definitely return soon

The pizza was incredible, I had the creamy cheesy base with fennel and it blew my mind! Dog friendly is a massive bonus, inside and outside. The vibes are awesome and the setting is beautiful inside. We spent a week making sure we didn’t use any chain restaurants so this was perfect. Get there early as parking may be hit and miss, but well worth a good walk!! The pizza is nuts! Also, an amazing pizza place in a sea of fish and chips shops is the BEST FIND EVER! You MUST try this!!! Great pizza Great staff Great vibes. Do it.

Seriously good on every level. Service was brilliant - friendly, helpful staff who know their stuff. Food was incredible - fresh pizza, carefully made, perfectly cooked and the tastiest tomato base sauce I’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is relaxed with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and a gentle buzz.

I recomend this pizza it is so delicious. It has the best service also.

The food was prepared excellently, a different combination of flavors that went well together along with the friendly and welcoming customer service definitely made it a 5 star recommendation, the atmosphere was calm and peaceful definitely a place I'd take my family to enjoy and bond over.

A good place for take away and when you wanna dine in

Best sourdough pizza in town. Simple, yet imaginative toppings along side traditional toppings. Kids and pet friendly place, vibrant atmosphere, with a service second to none. No request was too much for the staff, and if they did not have what you wanted(hot water, honey and lemon) they went out of their way to replace the honey with agave syrup. As for the food, well what can say, it was so good we forgot to take pictures. Nothing was left on a plate. The thick crust is deceptive, as it was as light as a feather. I used it to soak up the dips and clean plates.

The pizzas here are amazing, they’re proper Italian pizzas. The waitress was lovely and made us laugh a lot. A really great restaurant.

Pizza was so delicious!! Our server Jazz was one of the best servers I've ever had! I had the burrata pizza with mushrooms and the mushrooms were delicious and pizza dough was perfect!

Pizza Plz is a fantastic place. The pizzas are consistently impressive, with a wide variety of generous toppings. Big fan of the dough and thickness, some artisan pizzas can be quite thin, but these hold their shape without being a thick, doughy mess; great for eating out of the box at a nearby beach! Do be careful if you’re picking up a to-go order. There’s no official parking, and limited street parking nearby on some very old and narrow Cornish roads.

Hands down the BEST Pizza in Cornwall in a funky and relaxed atmosphere. They have loads of veggie and vegan options too with the most delicious base dough I’ve ever had. Book a table to make sure you get a seat, or order a takeaway and eat it somewhere along the river.

Best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve been to a pizza festival several times and y’all are still my favourite. Would recommend to anyone and often take family here when they visit =)

Wonderful atmosphere and music. Pizza is good although Penryn is a competitive place so hard to say whether it's the best in this small Cornish town (check also Verdant). Staff could be friendlier but at least the service is fast and in a busy place that's essential. Keep in mind that it might be hard to find a parking lot around there but one can park a bit further in Penryn and walk there. Overall a real little gem in a lovely town.

Ate at their pop up at the Harbour Boat. Really friendly team, managed a big order with ease, kept us in the loop, speedy, and absolutely delicious. Aioli dip was delish!

I don’t write many reviews, but this place definitely deserves one! We booked before hand as a friend recommended this place can get really busy. On arrival we were greeted by a super friendly waiter. He took us through an illuminated outdoor eating area, which my daughter thought was fantastic! The fairy lights dotted around everywhere were magical. He seated us at the back in our own private booth, with our very own, mood lighting. (Which is very handy when you have tired children with you) We ordered our drinks and began to browse the menu. We ordered the meal deal for the children, which included a smaller pizza, with a drink and ice cream for dessert. My husband ordered the veggie option, which he loved and I could tell, he did not want to share with anyone! I ordered the Dolce Diablo pizza. I was blown away. This pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. The taste was so delicious. If you like sweet spicy foods, this is the pizza for you! The vibrant, flavoursome purée tasted delicious with the chunky, grated mozzarella and delicately, sliced pepperoni. To top it off they drizzled chilli oil (I think) and scrummy jalapeño’s for the grand finale, it tasted incredible. Definitely try this pizza! You won’t be disappointed! Staff were all fantastic and atmosphere even better. Can’t wait for our next visit. We will be returning very soon!

Went with parents and it was a hit. Had the special (a greek-inspired concoction) a margharita, and the portobello. Each fantastic. I really can't recommend the portobello enough if you like garlic, mushrooms, or both.

Amazing pizza, great place for take away or dining in

Consistently excellent pizza, and really lovely staff. Whilst it might seem quite pricey, the food is definitely worth it. Really cosy atmosphere when the log burner is on too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the best pizza around.

Just finished my takeaway pizza from this place and I can safely say hand on heart that it was the nicest pizza I’ve ever had! My wife and I had a large pizza each and a cheese garlic bread to share and we couldn’t believe the flavours of each ingredient. I’m used to a pizzas flavours all blending into one but these were different, you could taste each fresh ingredient. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area!
