Tried to arrange our engagement party here and is the worst communication and service from the event organiser I have ever received. Constantly ignored even when it got to the point of going into the sea you to speak to the lady who organises. Had to keep chasing for responses and in the end was just ignored and never got back to. Is a real shame as we really liked the cafe there but will not be returning after the way we were treated.

It was very busy, one spare table. Ordered food and was out in 15 minutes. Absolutely delicious, well presented and fairly priced. The drinks were really nice, ice cold with crystal clear glasses. The table was cleaned as soon as we sat down. What's not to like.

This place is a real find and a must if you’re in the area. The setting is perfect, with amazing sea views. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and the food is gorgeous. Highly recommended and somewhere we will keep returning to.

If you want a teaspoon of ice cream costing £3.20, then this is the place for you. When complained to the waitress was advised, “this is the amount I’ve been trained to give and well you’ve paid for it now” When taking this up with the manager, she advised, “I didn’t train her !!” On returning to the beach, others had visited an ice cream establishment further along the beach. They had been given a large scoop of ice cream. Very disappointing ‘Seayou’

Once again we were greated at 4.30 with we shut at 5! Very welcoming indeed. I then go to order a croissant to be told " we've put everything away" I said " but you don't shut until 5" So I ordered a bakewell tart and a blonde. They were awful! Just so soft and pappy. When the order was served, I had no milk. Then realised I had been given earl grey not decaffeinated tea! Couldn't be bothered to go back tbh. When I went to.pay, my pin was needed but rather than hand me the gadget as it faces wrong way, I had to do it myself! Then wanted another coffee, waited at till while 2 clearing up ignored me. Eventually another assistant came from the back but had to ask if it was OK. She was then asked the time and when told 55, said OK. So an awful experience all round. Staff look like they can't wait to get shot of you! Maybe go over to Thorpeness and take a lesson from your sister cafe?

Just ordered and mostly left our SeaYou breakfast Prompt service but the breakfast was dried out after obviously being previously cooked and left under a lamp for far too long , hence the dryness of the produce. Very disappointed especially as there are far better breakfasts elsewhere in Felixstowe to be had for half the price !

We popped in for a fish and chip lunch, sitting outside to enjoy the glorious weather and views. Friendly staff, quick service and the food was excellent.

In Sufflok for an extended stay, I have visited Sea You several times in recent months. Each visit has been a very good experience indeed! I am a paraplegic, and the accessibility is excellent: inside and out. The restaurant is in an elevated position, but there are well-thought-out gentle non-slip ramps. Even more importantly: every member of staff I have met has been delightful! It cannot be easy at busy times to treat all their guests with the perfect blend of friendly efficiency, yet somehow they manage it, and even find time for a quick chat. Tables are cleared and cleaned promptly, floors are swept, and the pristine wheelchair toilets offer a high-quality handwash: a small touch but it shows a very welcome attention to detail. The coffee is good, and the selection of sweet and savoury treats is excellent and offered at very fair prices. I haven't enjoyed a meal here, but the friends who introduced me to Sea You have, and they tell me their lunches have been excellent. Add to all of this the fact that the views are to die for, and I would say this place is well worth a visit!

It’s really sad I have to write this review. As a coeliac I have eaten here many times for either cake and coffee or breakfast. However, this time the menu I noticed had changed, choice reduced. I normally have eggs Benedict… they now cook the egg in vinegar, when asked if it could be done in plain water I was told no but the toast is GF. The breakfast was advertised as GF available, that does not include the sausage or black pudding. They advertise GF but it is only the toast… the actual breakfasts contain gluten. Left feeling humiliated.

Spacious café with a good variety of food but on the downside some items over priced for example toast and preserve £4.50 ouch. Found the music a little load but that was sitting under the speaker however we will visit it again.

Very disappointing. Cold due to S AFF holding the door open. Opted for the fish, chips and peas. Paid for four adult meals, got four child size meals. Won't be going back or recommending.

Well after being greeted by a lovely smile from Vidma on both of the last two occasions of visiting I felt it a good idea to give some feedback. All my visits have been lovely, all the staff are very friendly and the food has been great. Agi was chatting to me and telling me of future menu plans, they all sound good. The cafe itself is situated in a good location, with lovely sea views, it also has good access. We are looking forward to our next visit already. Thank you. 😊

Great spot right on the beach front with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The seating outside overlooks the sea, it was a lovely sunny day so we took full advantage and sat outside. There is no table service you go in to order and then when ready your food is bought out to you. I had the ploughman's which was huge, we all had a cold option and had clear plates at the end. The service was quick and the staff friendly. We ordered cakes to have later with a cup on tea at home and I had the date crumble which was amazing. Good selection of food on the menu, a range of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, smoothies as well as teas and coffees. Great spot, will definitely be back.

SeaYou (or as it was previously known, The Kitchen) is brillant. It opened either during or just after covid lockdowns. It's purpose built as a cafe. It has so many cafes, brunch, lunch and snack items available to choose from, including vegan and gluten free. I come here every couple of months for a coffee and cake and a catch up with one of my friends. Their sausage rolls are amazing. They also stock Harris and James gelato which is incredible. Gelato just hits better than ice cream. Lots of space inside and outside. All ages go. Dog friendly. Child friendly. They have high chairs too. It's honestly so great to have this in Felixstowe.

Decided to eat at this place as it was near to the beach we were at for the day. Originally decided to get a coffee, but after looking at the menu some things seem nice to eat. There was a selection of cakes & pastry items available. We ordered the Ploughman's, an Orange & squid salad and a side serving of ordinary fries. After a short wait of about 10 minutes we were served. The plates were loaded with food, the prices agreeable & they tasted very good. The salad served with the dishes were fresh with a homemade dressing, a little sharp, but a good match of the food. The fries were well cooked & stayed hot until the end, the ham served in the ploughman's was a very good tasting ham of a good quality. The bread served with the salas was also very fresh and tasted good. We both agreed that the food was very good & told the waiter to let the chef know this. We also decided that we would eat at this place again and try something else on offer. It has only been open a short while - less than 5 years, but the atmosphere, service & food are all excellant.

A proper pub, good friendly service , well kept beers with an ever changing guest ale, no food just good conversation in a pleasant environment. If you long for a traditional well run pub serving good ale the Old Mariners is for you.

Very disappointed with the sandwiches, bread was very dry and the smoked salmon bagel was frozen! BLT contains cold bacon rashers. All in all - an expensive, disappointing lunch. Will not frequent the cafe again .

We were a table of 9 plus 2 dogs looking for brunch on bank holiday Monday. We phoned a few days previous to book a table to be told they couldn’t accommodate us in the dog area indoors but we could just turn up and get a table outside (which couldn’t be reserved either). We travelled 30 miles to come here, paid the parking fee and easily found 2 tables together outside. It was just before 11am as we were told on the phone previously that breakfast was served until 11.30am. The waitress gave us the breakfast menus and asked us to order at the bar. We made our choices quickly but when we tried to order at the bar at 11am another waitress told us that she couldn’t take our order as the kitchen was overrun because it was a bank holiday! This was despite not 1 single table inside the pub being occupied and us easily finding a table outside. We explained that what we were told but she refused to take the order. This was very disappointing considering our previous phone call and having 2 cars travelled a round trip of 60 miles. We were told to order from the main menu but we couldn’t order for another hour as it didn’t start until 12 noon. The waitress was very dismissive and not apologetic. Very poor customer service as far as I’m concerned. We won’t be going back.

Really recommend this place. Last minute dinner booking, with no issues for a table of six. Lovely place and a good menu. The food was really nice and came promptly. What made this place though was the service from the two ladies who waited on our table. They were extremely kind and friendly and I'd go as far as saying they probably provided the best service I've ever experienced anywhere.

Just popped in for a lunchtime meal , Limited menu had beef lasagne with a side salad and garlic bread. £10.50. The lasagne had been reheated it was dry and very crisp and hard in places and not hot , basically I left most of it and told them it wasn't very nice at all. Just before I left a member of staff approached me and gave me £5 back and said she was sorry it wasn't good. So if it's not good don't serve it to customers.... Not Happy!.
