Finally found a Take away that's does real Chips not flaming fries. Never head Fried Rice with chicken before.. was a perfect balance... definitely will be using these guys again in the near future

This used to be a fantastic Chinese takeaway, But as the new owners have taken over, in my experience it's gone down bank. Food ordered is mostly missing stuff, also they give you a menu, And the price you pay is more. Explanation is oh sorry about that. We have given this takeaway so many chances to get takeaway correct, but for some reason cannot.. Would not recommend here, And would never order anything from them again.

It tasted reheated spring rolls weren’t crispy neither was the duck. Chow mein didn’t specify that it had meat it in so couldn’t eat.

Once again got home order not what ordered. We went to the seaway, this was not over the phone or delivery order.

the order took a long time to come which i didn’t know till i ordered i would be okay with this except the fact when my order came it was cold

Food was amazing , however order was ridiculously late despite me choosing a set time this afternoon for it , and felt the delivery guy wasn’t particularly friendly when he struggled to find my address , however lady I spoke to on the phone at the restaurant was lovely

Ordered a few times with a mixture of different qualities. There was time, when the food is too greasy and I think they should have changed the cooking oil with a fresh one. I hope, this will improve as I found the people are friendly.

Not my favourite place to go. the food can be quite greasy depending on what you have. But if my usual spots are closed I'll go in a pinch

lovely meal and very filling and tasty. Only problem is can you put on menu what is Included with the meal Does sweet and sour balls come with rice or chips etc.

Very yummy, I only ordered soup and some mini spring rolls as I have a cold and just needed some soup to warm me up, I apologised in advance on my notes for the small order and they sent me a note to say get well soon, the soup was delicious 💕. Thanks so much!

Chicken fried rice with pineapple was quite dry and without flavour. A bit of actual pineapple would be nice too. Chow mein was very tasty and the soup was really nice too.

The food is so tasty and very good portion sizes. It's more expensive than other ones we have ordered from but the quality is of a much higher standard than others so it's worth paying for.

We had 2 x 3 in 1 boxes and they both were delicious, food was hot and tasty. Delivered within allocated time.

The food was nearly 2 hours late ordered at 6:56 and arrived at 8:50 and it defiantly wasn’t worth the wake.

Disappointed, tried for the first time, food was so bland, all 4 dishes ordered were bland even the prawn crackers, I had to add chilli flakes and peanut butter to my satay to make it taste half way to a satay, waste of money and a real let down

Ordered large chips and large curry sauce.. £7 waited 10 mins for chips to cook and not even hot despite only living 2 mins away. Chips were never a large as barely enough for 2 people.

Ordered special chowmain salt pepper crispy chicken and salt pepper chips, chicken balls ,nothing special about the chow main just a load of noodles very little else vegetables?? One prawn a slice of beef / pork /chicken no sauce /gravy just a very thick brown covering.crispy chicken and chips ,very little chicken and soggy chips,not good ,best part was the chicken balls they were hot and tasty after over one hour it was delivered I was offered a discount next time I was to order , won't be ordering again as they said they were very busy,my view not good enough and didn't meet my expectations. Avoid.

Took money out of my account twice got to wait 5 days for it to go back in then never got the food

Lets start of by saying the fish and chips were not cooked properly it was mushy and not very appealing the staff were absolutely miserable and couldn’t even look at me in a nice way they just threw everything about and served me, absolutely terrible wouldn’t come again.

Just had the chicken dinner, what have you done to the chips, they used to be so nice, I've thrown most of them away, they are awful.

Asked if they did crispy won ton as I couldn't find it on the menu. They don't do it, however their cook did prepare n cook me won ton as a one off. Now that's customer service. Thanks 😊

You don't put onion in egg fried rice unless u are asked to I make chineese egg fried rice all the time n onion or spring onion is an option 🤔 the bbq sauce on ribs is too red so I have wasted 20 quid on a meal I have use you before an your egg fried rice was to die for instead you have just made my partner chuck up thanks!!!!!

Used Seaways for many years & thought we would order a Chinese tonight. They use Big Foodie as the go between so to speak. So order placed about 7.10pm Delivery 40 mins. Rang at 8.15 said we will cook it now! Rang again at 8.45 to be told its out for delivery. Arrived at 8.55.. Food lukewarm and certainly not worth the wait. They are obviously taking far too many orders & cannot handle or deliver them. This is the 2nd time its happened - Shall not bother again. Order at your own peril!

Rip off merchants & rude behaviour. Christmas Eve, My family ordered a Chinese takeaway from seaway in chesterton, the food was over 2 hours after we ordered it & after several phone calls. Then turned up & several dishes missing ( the expensive ones ) when we called to ask them to send the missing dishes. The guy said we have what we ordered, ( while laughing down the phone) we asked for the dishes he wrote them down & said we had to pay again, while laughing at my husband! Disgusting! DO NOT RECOMMEND

Ordered my daughter and wife a meal for delivery from here around 18.00ish on Xmas eve and still hasn't arrived i have phoned and spoke to a lady who talks really fast for her to tell me they have been busy so so so so so so sorry it will be about 30-40 mins still waiting and it is now 21.00hrs

What a let down. Always use Seaway and its expected to be late, but tonight the service has been horrendous. Order 45 minutes late, wrong order, rang to complain, then right order delivered cold. Not ordering from them again! And broke the gate!

Took 1 hr 20 minutes to arrive and 2 phone calls. I was told 2 minutes on each call. The spring rolls were cold and stuck to the paper bag and full of something mushy. We didnt eat them and the prawn sweet and sour wasnt the same quality as usual.

Never go anywhere else love this place. Owners are friendly and polite. Food is yummy yummy yummy. Delivery can take a while, but meh. Food is worth it. If I could give 10 stars I would. Portions are huge aswell. Like the chow mein and fried rice dishes. They really do pack it in. Plus the chips. Oh man. Crispy and fluffy. Got free calender as well for New Year. 10/10

first time and last time that we will be using this takeaway, read reviews but give the benefit of the doubt delivery later than expected. food piping hot had to wait for it to cool down which tells us that it's been microwaved. We had hot and sour soup which was horrible not in the least hot or sour, just bland, then we had chicken in ok sauce, and king prawn thai style both tasted the same, the sauce was gloopy and chicken and prawn were both battered which was soggy and not enjoyable at all. got to be the worst Chinese takeaway in stoke and Newcastle. only used it because Lims in Newcastle are close for their holidays. 20 pound wasted and now the bit I had has caused me to have a very bad stomach. absolutely disgusting. food hygiene people should pay them a visit, my stomach is not right, bubbling and had to go use the toilet already.

Having heard about this Chinese I decided to call in. The food is spot on

Had a individual meal box, came with chips or noodles, a fried rice and a main in a box, got stuffed half way through, it was amazing. £5 a box, will definitely go again. The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly

Terrible experience, as I was waiting for my collection I witnessed one of the staff’s children running in and out of the kitchen and through the back, then playing football in the waiting area. The staff member that prepared my food wore no protective clothing at all and the food was at a very low standard.

The food is lovely but the 2 downfalls are children running round and there delivery cars right outside the shop and you have to walk from up the road.

Not the best. Second time of buying food from this place in a year. I will like to call it the sugar factory. The thai style king prawn menu (no.95) is more sweeter than honey, syrup and sugar mixed together. The buttered chicken isn't freshly cooked, the three sad so called king prawns are nothing but prawns on hunger strike. Up your game seaway. I'm definitely learning how to cook from now.
